We felt like we were being profiled. When we ordered a shot, our bartender questioned us not once, but twice. First, she asked if we were sure that was what we wanted. After we confirmed, she brought up the price and again asked if we were really sure that was the drink we wanted. It came across as if she assumed we couldn't afford it or didn't know what we were ordering. There was no reason to question our order, and it made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We came to enjoy a nice meal, not to feel judged. It's disappointing because the food was excellent, but customer service is just as important. I hope management addresses this so other guests don't have a similar experience.

That said, I was not expecting anything fancy, so perhaps I should not have expected much more. The atmosphere was typical for this type of restaurant--casual, basic, and nothing fancy. It appeared clean enough and was generally what you would expect from a place like this. It was offered but not on the written menu, was $14.41. It was the size of my hand. Nothing to It. Then they charged us $2.05 for the two flour tortillas that came with her meal. My NOT-popcorn shrimp were overcooked. I had water, which was empty about mid-meal, but we could never get our server to come over to refill it so I just drank my wife's water. After all of that, for some reason I still gave her a good tip. A manager did stop by to ask how our meal was and she did bring us $2.00 cash for the tortillas.
