Great experience every time I come here. All bartenders are very personable. Different offers daily. $1 for champagne, $3 for Bloody Mary. I think they're geared towards the college students in the area which is just an added benefit for me. What's best, you can go to Jalisco's a few doors down, order food and bring it to the bar. I want to start with saying this is not a review on the establishment itself. It's a review on the employees Michaela, Tyler, and Abby. This makes me really sad to have to write as I've been coming here regularly for a while now. I LOVE the flock bar and am honestly just so devastated and appalled at how I was treated there last night (new years eve) by the bartenders working. Michaela, Tyler, and Abby were all completely intoxicated behind the bar. They were trying to serve drinks but were too intoxicated. I was standing quietly with my friend just waiting for their drinks with them at the end of the bar. Michaela then drops off his drinks after taking 30+ minutes to even say a word to us. She gives us the drinks and turns to me and looks me in the eye with so much hate and disrespect & says "oh we hate you here." "You're the most annoying person & you order the most annoying drinks" I just apologized and said I just love the way y'all make my drinks they're always amazing I'm sorry, she then follows that up with "we just hate you here and you're honestly so rude and inconsiderate for ordering those drinks here". For reference, my usual is a French 75. I have given so many people recommendations for this bar solely for how amazing this drink is and the staff. So hearing this was very extremely hurtful. She rolled her eyes and then walks away with nothing but HATE in her eyes for me. I say let's leave to my friends but they wanted to speak to a manager, so we spoke to Tyler. He's sitting there speaking very kindly saying he's so sorry he can't do anything to make it right but he can comp our tabs. He walks away and as he's "comping our tab" he is laughing and hugging and talking about us in the meanest manner to this same bartender (Michaela). Still silent just standing at the end of the bar wanting to leave, Abby then walks over and unprovoked YET AGAIN she turns to me looks me in the eyes and says "we're busy babes" and rolls her eyes and walks into the freezer. Michaela then walks over and drunkenly tells us "we're kicked out" and walks back falling all over. We still are just standing here quietly not saying a word to them like we haven't all night. Tyler comes back with a completely different attitude and says he comped my friends tab. My friend who's tab I would not have even been on if I had ordered, she then tells Tyler that he forgot my boyfriends tab. He then tells us and points at my boyfriend saying "he doesn't matter right now". Tyler is focusing his attention on my friend and not even giving me the time of day, the person who was extremely mistreated unprovoked by him and his staff. He then says "I got the whole story and you're drunk pointing (directly at me) so yall have to leave" .....This was far from the truth and that is a fact because I had zero plans of drinking, and if I did, the bartenders only pay attention to certain people (men) and were taking 30+ min and ignoring my friends at the side of the bar near the patio. So no, I was not drunk, and I didn't even have a tab or try and order a drink what so ever. I asked for the name of an owner or head manager and Tyler refuses to give me and my friends any names what so ever. We leave and that's that. I also want to say that at the beginning of the night my boyfriend did attempt to order a French 75 for myself. While I wasn't with him, Michaela rudely tells him "we're not doing those tonight" as the special of the night is a French 75. She tell proceeds to make French 75 for another man who walked up to the bar right after my boyfriend. She was so drunk she completely lost my friends card and forgot to queue any drinks in so they came up to us and asked what we had while we where trying to leave because she didn't do it at all. They were hurt and offended. This is not her first time treating me and my friends this way and we usually brush it off, but seeing as to how intoxicated she was behind that bar and knowing that's the reason she treated me this way I have to say something about it now. This bar used to be one of my favorites. But unfortunately service isn't what it used to be. Understandable when staff turnover rate is high. The care, attentiveness, and top tier service just isn't there anymore. read more

the girl in the bathroom kicked me out for literally blowing my nose and said I was too intoxicated after ordering 1 drink: definitely don't recommend . Felt very discriminated just for allergies and my stall door was open?? Very upsetting when I tried to talk to her and she pretended like I spit in her face. Very dramatic and petty. read more

Friday late afternoon. My wife and I stopped by for a quick drink before dinner. Hannah was a friendly, excellent bartender that made a great Texas Ol' Fashioned. Prices are reasonable. Comfortable place that turns very busy in the evenings. Right off the SPID, stop by coming from/to the island. read more

Hands down best bar in corpus. Always good drink specials. Taylor, Hannah, Brittany, Alexa and Chandler are the best bar tenders in town. They can make anything. Even have an off the menu speciality menu. Also not sure anyone works harder than Cole the bar back. read more

The manager must have gotten a lobotomy from claier's in the mall because she denied my govt ID as well as my friends Govt ID out of a group of ppl wanting to celebrate the chiefs win. She needs to be retrained or invest in scanner because I did not wait 22 years to be able to get into a mediocre bar and get denied for a "fake ID" with no reasoning for the denial. Awesome new bar near Ennis Joslin/SPID. They have a variety of cocktails, draft beers, a bunch of large screen flatscreens playing music videos, and depending on the night sports games. This is def a unique bar in Corpus Christi and an awesome place to chill and hang out after work, I don't like many bars but this one has a chill vibe and can also get fun and wild at night in the later hours. I have been here multiple times and LOVE IT emily is usually the bartender and she's great!! However, I went back and it was Chandler and she would not serve me and said my id was fake when it is not. Y'all NEED to get a scanner because that is ridiculous that I can't drink at my FAVORITE bar because a bartender can't read an id... very upset about this honestly loved this place. Super shout out to Pamela bartender!! Just arrived for job here w/boyfriend, we stopped for drink this week. Pamela obviously aware of her customers could see we were new.. she greeted us &welcomed us to cc.. couple of nights later we went in, remembering she talked with us for a few.. watching her with a packed house i have been so impressed with how efficient sure is while still keeping a smile on her face and keeping drinks filled!! I'm an attractive female visiting for work, we were recommended Flock by locals and visited on a Tuesday night. There were two female bartenders and a male bar back. Party of 3 Sat at the bar for 20 minutes when 8 other people were also seated. Didn't get a hello, connection of eyes , or I'll be right with you. Young female with hair tied in pony tail and hair wrap started talking to another girl that works there about her personal life and ignored everyone around her. After 5 minutes I said excuse me, raised my hands, and even sat up on the bar so she can see me but nothing. I had a long day and after me and my three friends waited 20 minutes even lifting our hands we left. This is unacceptable for a small town bar with very few people in it. As we left a guy said who else is waiting for a drink and 5 people raised their hand as the female bartenders just kept talking to their friends. I guess no one wants to make money or give service. I've been coming here many times and am way over age with a current ID and the bartender with brown straight hair refused my ID because it didn't "black light" correctly and when asked to speak to a manager or someone else or to show me how it was wrong she just refused service and saying she isn't explaining anything. Decent spot, fun on trivia night but would be a higher score if the ladies behind the bar would not ignore those at the bar waiting for a drink so they can carry on a conversation with each other. The place is not that packed on Thursday's before the trivia starts. Making eye contact with me at the bar and then going back to talking isn't right. read more

Terrible service for my girlfriend. The entire night she had trouble getting drinks because the female bartenders wouldn't pay her any attention. She had to wait until I got the attention of the bartenders to get a drink. In total she had one mixed drink and two shots and they cut her off. They said if she drank anymore they would kick us out and she was not acting out at all. Overall they were very rude to her so we left early. read more

This is a fairly new bar. Inside is nice. Place doesn't quite know what it wants to be yet. Odd disco ball in the middle of the place with animals all over the walls. It needs an identity. However, the staff is very friendly, drinks are great, reasonably priced, big TV's. You can't complain about much here except I wish they served some bar food. Other than that it's a good time. I went there a couple times with some younger crowds. Never paid too much of what was going on yet was always a good time no doubt.. I'm 34. Well I went there last night and every bar tender said hello and welcome back!!! Would you like your old fasioned???? Anyways I was super impressed, made friends and felt young again! For Corpus Christi I felt I was in a major city bar. I was very happy all night. It is a younger crowd but that's what made my night. The professional bar tenders made the difference. Very impressed and I am super judgmental and picky. Again, had a very nice night. Outside smoking area to meet n greet was also great. The bar tenders made it competitive who made the best drink! My partner and I were unexpectedly and suddenly in Corpus connected to a family medical emergency. In the wake of good news on that front, we found ourselves in the unique position of being the very first customers in this excellent bar after it re-opened amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Being the first customers might merit an eye roll, but the amazing owners did the exact opposite and bought our first round, as well as sincerely and thoughtfully thanking us for coming! I don't think I have EVER been thanked for coming to a bar, and that is not for lack of going to bars. Having promised ourselves we were just going out for a couple, we wound up spending most of the night at Flock, waited on by the patient and accommodating James who enabled us to affordably purchase a round of shots for the bar when we became (ahem) sufficiently celebratory and introduced us to his original beverage creation: a tajin (chili lime) rimmed drink-smoky, fruity and spicy. The deals are dope. They need more than 1 pool table because when I went with my friend these 2 dudes kept hogging it from other people. Which wasn't fair at all considering they played 4 times in a row. Other than that the staff is nice but not welcoming. I think they need to work on making people feel more comfortable and welcomed. The bartender we had was very stiff. My friend was paying in cash and kept bugging her saying she needed to pay like right that moment. Then 5 min later said she'll just open a cash tab. Like yeah...why didn't you just do that when she said she was only paying in cash instead of harassing us to pay right that moment. Wasn't like we were going to dip or something. Used to be good. Not sure what happened but now it's not enjoyable. You get cut off(not by the amount of drinks you have but by the time you spend there) and when you asked to talk to the manager as to why the manager whispers into his bartenders ears "tell them I'm too busy" then walks off. Again used to be great, now it sucks. read more

They have a good solid staff, and they don't have a high turnaround so the bartenders are fast and they remember regular orders. Drink menu and selection is awesome, location next to jersey Mikes also awesome. The music and disco ball on Saturdays are why I deducted a star. Actual bar and service is awesome. read more
