Their Oreo Milkshake is so good, that every chance I'm in the area, I always stop by for one. They make them super fast too, so even if they're busy, it's a very short wait. They're located inside the 4th Street Market, which has a very good amount of seating. I've had some of their other shakes as well, and they are super delicious too!

I followed them through all the street night markets until they opened up their store in 4th street market. The new shop is located in almost like a food court towards the back left corner. While the market itself doesn't really have the best aesthetic or ambiance, they have enough seating to fit large crowds. My go-to order is the cheesecake crepe with strawberries and blueberries. No other place does it like they do because they use actual slices of real cheesecake inside instead of just a cream cheese/cheesecake spread. As long as they keep that the same, I'll be a customer for life. My only 'complaint' (or more so just a wish) is that I really miss the late-night street stand days. Now that they've focused on the 4th St Market shop, the hours are a bit shorter, which makes it harder to stop by after work. I feel like late night is when the cravings hit. I'd love to see those late-night hours come back, but either way, the place is still 10/10. I haven't tried other of their new or updated menu items but I'm sure they're all great.

I went December 4, 2024 because I thought it looked like a neat place to grab a something to eat!…read moreIt's located inside the Wholesome Choice Supermarket, so don't let that confuse you! That being said, here are my positives! - the food is super good and if solely ranking on food, it'd be a five! I got: avocado toast, the blu's clues smoothie, and the sun & moon crepe - though not fitting the typical Southern California "aesthetic," the food put a smile on my face. - the toast was crunchy, and the avocado and subsequent toppings (greens and cheese) was well put together, tasting very good. - the Blu's Clues is what you'd expect out of a superfood label, but it's the best-tasting one I've had in a while - the crepe was one of the better crepes I've had, not undercooked and well topped. Considering its subpar location, the food punches WELL above its weight. Here are the downsides, though: - inside a supermarket, doesn't really fit a cafe type of vibe, maybe more of an airport lounge feel - there was only one worker so the service was slower paced than what I expected for the environment of the cafe, but nothing out of sorts - since it's in a supermarket it was a little loud, with little seating inside (though plenty outside) - no silverware, only plastic and paper napkins. no plates either, solely to go boxes. - I was also sad that they were out of the superfood açaí bowl as I wanted to try it, but no harm no foul Mind you, all of this can be fixed by moving to a different location, preferably its own and not in a supermarket. I hope this Cafe is able to be successful enough to be able to get to that point. I highly recommend it for the cheap and homey food it offers, especially when you're surrounded by the fancy, expensive, and overbearing food of SoCal. Sometimes it's good to stick to the basics, and they've really nailed it.

Anyway, it was worth seeking out. Our party of 5 swamped the poor guy working there. We ordered a lot of food, like a double brunch, because we were hitting the road for a long drive back to Northern California. So this one French guy (Yes, he really is French. He moved to Orange County from Paris, hence the name.) This French guy had to make us a couple of sandwiches, an omlette, and about 7 crepes. I felt sorry for him when I found out he was making the crepes one at a time and bringing them out as soon as each one was ready. I think he said his help has Mondays off. These crepes are like the best ever. We didn't want to tell him to stop because every one he brought out was absolutely fabulous. I'm pretty sure it was 7 crepes because we started with 4, and then my daughters and niece asked him to make 3 more. It was a good thing we weren't rushed for time. This is one spot we will definitely return to. We also learned that he is available and does crepes for corporate events. He brings his equipment and sets up in whatever location you want. That would make for a fun company event.

It is a unique concept and the place has a following. The dining area is small, but cozy and has a bistro feel, pictures of Paris adorn the walls (the restroom too) and there is French music to blend well with the simple ambiance. We ordered several items. First my Americano coffee (made with Italian espresso), was only good for a few sips, just too sweet for me. Second, the Quiche Maison (traditional French recipe, eggs, tomato, spinach, cheddar cheese). While this pie slice was soft and tasty, it was thin and could have easily passed off for pizza. What it lacked was the usual thickness one sees in a quiche slice, gives it body and also embeds the rich flavor of eggs and cream. Then came the crepes. The tomato and bacon was well received, as was the strawberry crepe. In this department, the crown goes to Crepe Suzette (orange syrup, orange zest, creme anglaise and whipped cream). It had optimum softness, the right amount of sweetness, chew and yes, butter. Truly a heavenly treat for the taste buds. Service is very slow, but rewarding. So if you are not in a hurry and are in the mood for fresh French brunch items, give this place a visit.
