Visited Loaded Cafe this weekend and was pleasantly surprised by great service and delicious breakfast. I had the Spicy Red Chilaquiles, not spicy by my standards but delicious and well presented. I was more shocked and surprised that the conchas we were brought were warm and fresh! That was probably our highlight. Would come back to try other dishes. read more

If there's a party of 3 adults, how many small conchas should eventually be on the table? The correct answer should be 3, but what came out was 2, which is just one of the reasons why I gave this restaurant 2 stars out of 5. Before I continue, I think it's important to note that I have a Culinary Degree and I have worked in restaurants both FOH and BOH. Our server was attentive, but nothing over the top. The silverware that was on the table were only forks. Where were the butter knives? The spicy green sauce was not spicy, at all. The Cholula was spicier by a mile. The food was bland. Nothing special about it. Paying $23 for a breakfast plate should either be a huge plate of mediocre food or a small plate of semi-mind blowing food. Neither was the case. It was a small plate of mediocre food. What really blows my mind is most people that have dined at this restaurant actually enjoyed the food. I think Black Bear Diner, Denny's, and Norms is better, and I'm not much of a fan of any of those restaurants. I'm assuming all of the Loaded Cafe locations are very similar, therefore I will never go back to any Loaded Cafes. read more

After multiple tries, I will no longer be ordering from here. Every time there is something wrong with my order but this time was the worst. Ordered a pancake combo with hash browns, sausage and bacon. The hash browns were BURNT! The bacon was hard and the sausage was cold. My over hard eggs were runny. My mom's combo was the same except she had ham instead of sausage. The slice of ham she got was such a joke. It was smaller than my sausage link. My husband got a machaca burrito and there was no meat in it. On to of that everything was cold! My husband arrived to pick up the order when he got the notification that it was ready and when he asked for it they said it wasn't ready yet. They finally gave him the order after it sat on the counter for over 10 minutes. Horrible food. Horrible experience. Not worth the almost $70 we paid. read more

We were in the area and decided to try this place. Everything LOOKED delicious but really it was average. Maybe a mix of Dennys and Ihop. The best thing was the complimentary, warm mini conchas. They messed up on our order and had to be remade due to allergen. The remake came out burnt and slightly raw. Nachos were really bland. On the bright side, the chips were homemade. Jamaica and horchata tasted store bought or even powder. Not homemade. Service was great I'll give them that but we won't be back here. read more

As soon as we walked in, we were seated right away. Instead of the usual chips and salsa, they brought out two warm Conchitas--a small but thoughtful touch, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Menudo, and it was so good. It had the exact pieces I love--the chewier cuts (not sure which part of the animal they are, but they're my favorite). My husband ordered taquitos along with a breakfast combo, and everything was delicious. He cleaned his plate completely. The atmosphere is very family-oriented--warm, welcoming, and comfortable. It honestly feels like a Latino version of Denny's, in the best way. On top of the excellent management, we had about four different waiters check on us to make sure everything was good. Parking is great, the interior is spacious, and the food is decent. I had the chicken enchilada plate along with the horchata agua fresca on an empty stomach and it was enough to fill me up. There was nothing too special about it, but it got the job done. I might order something else next time, though. We thought they stopped serving Conchas, so I asked the server about it. The chilaquiles definitely had a bigger kick than expected. I enjoyed the crunch of the chips and the asada was tender. I wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price. The pancakes were a letdown.
