We went on a Sunday evening for an early dinner and they weren't that busy. We sat outside and they have 2 sections separated by a bar that was open at the time. I suspect during major sport events, they would have both open.... The outdoor areas had fans blowing to increase airflow during hot summer days but also helps to keep the flying bugs away. Although we still had to contend with flies aggressively trying to get a piece of our dinner. We tried the shrimp tacos and the flatbread pizza, both were good... The shrimp tacos came with a side of chips and salsa. I enjoyed that the shrimp was a little breaded, that gave it some firmness and a crunchy taste to it. First off, the food is really good. The menu selections are not heavy, unique, and well priced. Here is the problem! It doesn't matter if you are one of three customers in the entire restaurant it will still take a few hours to get a meal. They are chronically unstaffed. There is either not enough wait staff to seat patrons, or not enough cooks in the kitchen to produce more than one meal per hour. I know sometimes restaurants can have a bad night, but we've been there four times in the last six months and every time was just as bad. The last two times we left without being seated because despite being empty they couldn't find a waiter to seat us with. If they could just hire someone, or keep their staff, this place will be great. read more

Noah was an incredible server, violet is very rude and sharp and made no eye contact whatsoever as walking away from us when we asked for the check. Food was incredible though. We decided to try The Crazy Cucumber based on previous reviews. We were so glad that we did. Started with an appetizer of guacamole. They serve it differently than any restaurant I've been to. They give the smashed avocados in a bowl surrounded by all of the fixings. You can make it as spicy or bland as you want. Even with all of the fixings you must add salt if you want it to pop. I ordered the Spicy Jackass for my drink, it was delicious. My husband got his usual IPA, nice and hoppy just like he likes. We split the Sweet Jalapeño Burger. I have to say, their burger meat is the best I have ever had. Service was good, even though they were busy. Don't forget to tip your servers, they are out there working hard. I believe I reviewed this a couple of weeks ago when they first reopened. We went back for lunch earlier in the wee, sat indoors at the bar, Rachel was our server, very attentive and personable. Husband got the special, a huge roast beef sandwich which he enjoyed and tasted tots. I took my family here today, for a family day. I'm going to start with the restaurant it's self. The building smelled...damp. You know that smell when something is wet, and has been sitting a while, that smell. I don't know if they were having AC issues or what, but it wasn't pleasant. We started with a few appetizers. The buffalo chicken dip was good, I highly recommend it, if you do go. The loaded tater tots were basic. Nothing special, nothing you couldn't make at home. Basic melted cheese with some bacon bits from a bag. On to our entrees. We got the kids the chicken poppers and fries. Again, basic, the chicken poppers are equivalent to pop corn chicken from Walmart or Publix... so if that's what you're after, go there. It's better, and probably cheaper. My wife got the popcorn chicken... I mean chicken popper wrap, and it was basically lettuce and wrap. She got the sweet chilly sauce, thinking it was going to have a bit of a kick, but it didn't taste like anything, just wet chicken... what chicken she did get. I got the pulled pork tacos, and it tasted like cardboard. Pulled pork was sooooooooooooo dry. Overall, the music and atmosphere was nice. Second time visiting this place and I'm sorry to say it is still not very good. The food is overpriced, over cooked and food takes forever to come out even when they don't look very busy. We had the loaded tot which were not loaded and they were soggy, also we asked for the flat breads which were overcooked and greasy. The only good thing was the shrimp appetizer. The server was great and manager accommodating but by that time we were ready to just go home. Although the place is cute and has potential they have to step up their game in the food served. So this place deserves its 3 star rating. Average burgers which is my yardstick for comparing among various places. Asked for medium-rare but got medium plus instead. He got french onion soup with a Reuben and I got the tomato bisque with a 4 cheese grilled cheese. Our sandwiches were a great portion and the soup was very hot and tasty. The french fries were sooo delicious and perfectly seasoned! Overall the experience was nice, but the service wasn't stellar (the host both when we came in and left seemed very unhappy, but our waitress did a nice job).
