I visited The Craft House when they were still at their old location, but I have to say that the move to the old Third Place Global Eatery has definitely made the experience better. The space is open and bright, there is plenty of greenery still left behind, and I love the little window into the kitchen at the front of the place. The Craft House makes delicious, inventive dishes and drinks. Think Mediterranean chicken tacos and their Manila Sunset mocktail. The food is always fresh, tasty, and perfect for a casual lunch date with friends. Not to mention, Greg and his team are fantastic. They are all super friendly, serve with a smile, and always look out for their customers first.
The Craft House is now in a new location where Third Place used to be. Very nice place with great seating inside or on their patio outside. We went on a Saturday at 11:30 for lunch and they were not very busy. Service was excellent and prompt. Our waitress, Ashley, went out of her way to be friendly and conversational. I ordered a prickly pear cider on their seasonal cider menu, which was excellent. Not too sweet, but just sweet enough. My husband ordered a burger and tots, and I had the dip sandwich, which is like a dipable cheesesteak. The bread for the amount of meat was a bit much. I think this sandwich would be great as a panini, and I am sure they would oblige, as they have a pork panini on their menu. My husband said his burger and tots were good. My husband and I definitely want to come back at night and maybe have drinks and try another cider or beer.
I love this restaurant it's locally owned and operated by a wonderful couple here in clovis. They had a restaurant before across the street where the cooked up daily soups and had local beer on tap now they moved to a bigger location right across the street where they have more seating inside as well as outside seating. Much more spacious for big parties as well. They did stop the daily soups down to one soup all week long but I was told by the owner they don't serve soup during the summer season because it's way too hot outside. They do serve local beer as well as other beer listed on the menu, they serve cocktails too. The menu spans from appetizers to dessert, they have options for everyone including customers who are vegan. I highly recommend coming here where things are fresh, cook to order, and served by great people as well as cooks. If you don't feel like dining inside you can also order takeout, no matter what you pick you'll be happy you choose to eat here. Please keep in mind the menu prices start at around $15 dollars and go up to $25 dollars a plate, it is a more higher priced restaurant but worth every penny.
This place just moved into a new building that has a lot of patio potential. With that in mind, it seemed like they were still getting their bearings straight as they were out of several beers and the service was a little slow, despite the server being super nice. The surf and turf tots and dip it sandwich were excellent! Their fries are also incredible. Didn't love the crispy chicken sandwich as it seemed a little basic, but we will totally be returning to check out other things.
Wow! This restaurant/craft house is fantastic. The ambience is perfect for eating with friends, watching football (high tops and low seating). The patio is clean, inviting with misters. We went a few times prior to them moving from the corner (which now is Pendragon brewery). This spot is so much bigger and inviting. The beer choices have something for everyone and cold. I picked one of the lagers; it had a nice flavor. If you watch football, they have you hooked up in the main are as well as the lounge. First time ordering "the pork belly fries". Sooo much food that was packed full of flavors that had so many flavors that say yum with each bite. Our server, Julie was the best!!!!
Came here on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. Service was great, all the staff were very friendly. We ordered wings as an appetizer. Was a little hesitant about the strawberry sriracha sauce it was tossed with but the server assured us we would like it. He was correct, very flavorful and balanced. The strawberry gave it just the right amount of sweet to balance with the heat. For my dinner, I ordered The Dip, which is their take on a beef dip. It was pretty good. The Horseradish Aioli was great, and the Au Jus, while lighter in color than what I'm used to, was just as flavorful. My only "complaint" was the ratio of beef to bread could have been better. It could have used just a little more beef. I also ordered the tots as my side, nice and crunchy. The beer selection had a few selections of IPAs, Lagers and Stouts. Liked that there weren't too many options, as that can get overwhelming. With it not being very packed, it had a good environment. There were a few TVs in the main room, and noise was balanced. My friend and I didn't have to talk over ambient noise, which is always a plus in my book. Just a heads up, there is no signage visible from the street. The building is the former Third Place Global Eatery. I passed by it once as I don't go into Old Town Clovis very often. I look forward to visiting again
The Craft House does it again! If you haven't heard, Third Place Global Eatery is no more and Craft House has completely taken over the entire space, both in ownership and food. The only Third Place remnants left are a few pieces of signage on the building, which will be taken down soon. All of the food served here is 100% the classic Craft House menu along with a few new food items and cocktails. Crow and Wolf is no longer running the outside patio bar, but their craft beers and a handful of other local breweries suds are still being served here. I tried one of their new cocktails which is a take on a Moscow Mule but made with vodka and passion fruit juice. It was delicious! My kids loved their chicken tenders and mac 'n cheese and to be honest, so did my wife and I. Those tenders and creamy mac can get it! I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, with a side salad. The sandwich was amazing and I love the spicy batter they use on their chicken breast. I was honestly shocked at how good my house lemon vinaigrette salad dressing was. It was so good that I even started dipping tater tots in it. Shout out to the amazing servers who work here Kate, Julie, and Kayla! All of our food was delivered fast, fresh, and they truly made sure we felt comfortable. I'm so happy that The Craft House has found a new home in a truly beautiful location. I'm sad that the Third Place came and went, but as they say; when one door closes, another one opens. Cheers!
The food was very tasty! I ordered the fish tacos and I really enjoyed the flavors. It didn't have a fishy taste to it thankfully. I did ask for the corn salsa on the side instead and glad I did. I'm not a jalapeno person. My husband got the Cubano sandwich and was not disappointed. My daughter got the Mac n cheese and liked it as well. Definitely will be coming back during summer to enjoy some drinks.
Lunch time at the craft house made a pit stop over down to Clovis. I usually go there and no issues. There was plenty of parking and seating. I had to wait 2 to 5 minutes to be seated. The food is on point however I had to wait a long duration for my food. The restaurant was clean and plenty of air conditioning for you to enjoy.

What a treat to find a place that checks all the boxes when you are an out of towner The Craft House had an excellent variety of food with an exceptional twist. Thanks to Julie our server that pointed us in a the right direction since it was so hard to choose. Loved the food and service is this super cute spot so don't miss out!
The food here is excellent. Service is top notch. The owners are so friendly and hardworking. I've never had a bad experience and I've been eating here since 2018.
Awesome and welcoming service! Plan for a wait, but it is well worth it, If you haven't been before ask your server what they recommend and you won't be disappointed. We tried the pork belly fries to start and loved them! With lots of CA beers on tap (and valley local to boot) we loved what was offered to go with our amazing meals! Try anything! You won't be disappointed!!
We love coming here, the food is original and so tasty. They have a small menu which I actually prefer and rotating specials. The menu feels thoughtful and curated. We went on a Thursday for dinner and it was busy but luckily a table of two was available immediately. Our server was very friendly and I could tell she was busy and still had a great attitude never made us feel rushed. Great service! My husband ordered the Mac and cheese and woooow sooo flavorful, it came with pork belly and crispy Brussels and truly tasted homemade! I ordered the 50/50 burger which was delicious but I swapped out the spicy items. I was happy to see the burger came with delicious steak fries. We split our dishes and ordered dessert to go since we couldn't pass up their cheesecake special. My only downside was that some of the items (appetizers and beer) were a bit pricier than I expected. The entrees were priced well though. We'll definitely be back this is one of our favorites in OTC (Old Town Clovis)! read more

Went early Saturday to beat the crowd and as other Yelpers said they are located where Global Eatery was. Love the special spin they put on classic dishes like French dips and Mac and cheese. Get a good cocktail and you have a meal you will savory. Great job Craft House! read more

I don't eat in Clovis much but I was meeting a friend for dinner and had to check this place out after seeing my Fresno elites liking this place so much. I can't believe this place has been around for 6 yrs and I had not even heard of it. We arrived at 4:30PM on a Saturday. Just in time for happy hour! Our drinks were only $4! I got a Pineapple Cider and my friend got a seltzer drink that was like a mimosa but not as sweet. We let our waiter help us decide between dishes and desserts. I got the Guacamole Ghost burger (medium-rare) and my friend got the filet mignon tacos. Both dishes come with these amazingly seasoned fries cooked perfectly. We also had sriracha sauce to dip the fries in that I highly recommend! For dessert there was only 2 choices so we got one of each to try and shared. We got the chocolate cake and a lemon marscapone cake. The food was flippin' fantastic! Everything tasted like heaven. Everything was seasoned right and cooked perfectly. Dessert was exceptional. Although the chocolate cake was rich and dense, we definitely preferred the lemon marscapone cake more! Our waiter was quick and very helpful! Can't say a bad thing about this place at all. It did get quite busy at 6:00 PM so get there earlier if you can. read more

The food is amazing! The crab cakes on their own are good but the dish as a whole is on another level! The tater tots made my husband wonder if the chef sold his soul for recipes. Worth it! The owner greeted us and made recommendations. His daughter served us. We will be back! read more

Ordered the spicy goat and prickly pear cider. The prickly pear cider is delicious and refreshing! It is light and you don't feel bloated and heavy after drinking a glass. The spicy goat was rich and flavorful. The goat cheese complimented the aioli and burger patty well. The only thing the burger was missing was some vegetables for crunch. Despite that, I would order again. The service was friendly and prompt, and the table was comfortable. read more

Visited family and friends in Fresno area. Our local friends picked this restaurant, food is delicious and fresh. Their bar food looked very very good, but I needed something light that night. Surprisingly, they prepared good fresh light dishes to pick as well, recommend it. read more
I feel like this place is a true gem. Went based on the recommendation of a friend, and I am So glad I did! Even though it was a weekend evening, my bf and I were able to get a table as soon as we walked in. Not only was our server friendly and attentive, but the owner himself checked on us several times and even helped bring out our food. The place is smaller, but had a fun vibe, and didn't feel cramped or too noisy. I he best part though was the food. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. There were lots of really unique choices, but I went with the Sweet Nancy, and fried chicken sandwich with different sauces. It was different but wonderful. The sandwich itself was huge, with amazing flavor. The fries were seasoned perfectly and slightly crispy. I stole some of my bf's tots and they were the best I have had, crunchy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. We also got the wings for an appetizer, and I loved the slightly sweet, slightly spicy sauce. They came out piping hot and another big portion. I wasn't able to finish everything, so had some awesome leftovers for the next day. If you haven't tried it yet, go give this place a shot! read more
This is one of my absolute favorite Hamburger places EVER. I had the pleasure to try out The Bourbon Meat Monster Burger, The Thai Shrimp Tacos, The Cubano Sandwich, The Strawberry Siracha Wings and Tater Tots. Dont forget to grab drink. I orderd the BlackBerry Cider and My Hubby grabed a seasonal IPA. This place is soooooo Good. I can't wait to try more dishes. LOVED IT. read more

I am not even out of the restaurant yet and want to shout from the rooftop how incredible this place is!! We stopped by on our trip back home and my gosh. Firstly: we couldn't find the door as the sign had blown over and one of the waitstaff came outside asking if we were looking for the craft house -- he welcomed us in and seated us right away. Excellent customer service for point 2! The waitress who had our table was incredibly sweet and very helpful with how the dishes were prepared. Our food came out super fast and if I can just say -- there was about 19 things on the menu I NEEDED to have -- but I came in wanting something cool and fresh -- so for point 3 -- the hummus charcuterie for appetizer was the first thing and it was the best hummus I've ever had -- it was better than most Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. Excellent! My husband had a Pizza port honey ale, and it was phenomenal. He had the pork belly slider with a side salad and again, can't say anything but praise! It was crispy and flavorful super tender and just so good all around! I ordered the filet caprese tacos -- wow. The combination of balsamic and filet with microgreens was incredible. Tender beef and creamy mozzarella with flakes of grated parm. Wow. Just wow. And our trip was timed perfectly because they were hosting a baby shower in the back and offered everyone in the dining area a slice of the most incredible chocolate cake they had leftover -- well it was the best chocolate cake I've ever had -- turns out it was from Save Mart (so plug for them too!) 8" chocolate fudge cake and that will be my go-to forever now if I need a cake! Excellent experience, super customer service, and I told my husband if we are looking for lunch or dinner food in Clovis or Fresno when we come up, never ask me where I want to eat because it's always going to be here. OH MY GAWD!! This was the BEST sandwich I've ever had. The Scooby Doo was a HUGE sandwich with flavors hitting me at separate times but blending at the end to literally knock my socks off. I can't believe how good this was. Definitely DEFINITELY gonna make this a monthly stop!!!!!!! BTW, the owner, Greg, stopped by our table and was as personable as could be. My first time at the Craft House and definitely will not be my last! Our server Julie was amazing, very attentive! The restaurant is a little on the smaller size with very few seating but super cute inside! They have a little photo op wall. The food.... Everything was delicious! The portions are also good sizes. I ate a quarter of my burger and took the rest home. We shared the mac and cheese and it did not disappoint! read more

My husband and I were staying in Old Town Clovis and decided to grab dinner from The Craft House. My husband went there to place our order and said it was hard to locate because there wasn't really any signs other than a small chalkboard sign when you enter the restaurant. I ordered the backyard Burger well done and my husband got the Thai shrimp tacos with a side of tots. I bit into my burger and out came some juice along with blood. Disgusting! I then noticed my burger was fairly pink and blood had actually soaked into the bun thus ending my dinner and appetite. The fries were fairly salty to the point of almost being inedible. My husband said the Thai shrimp tacos were okay but not as spicy as you would think for Thai tacos. He also said the tots were really greasy. I ended up having to go get a different dinner somewhere else once I got my appetite back. Just be aware that the food is very salty and my meal wasn't cooked as requested. read more

Amazing! The food was fabulous from sliders to the Spicy Goat burger and my Bluey Burger delicious!!!! Service was fantastic and the family owners were wonderful ( Kayla was A+ and Greg was so handsome!) We sat in the private patio and with 3 toddlers it was perfect. Can't wait to come back read more
I got the pleasure to go back to this Place. The place is very roomy and comfortable. The service is very quick and the waitress was very attentive. They are really paying attention to the customers. I think we went over the time we stayed because we were enjoying ourselves there. Everyone was very delighted with what we ordered. The appetizer was Buffalo tatters tots. We ordered the large portion and we devoured them quick. They were tasty. I ordered 2 tacos of jackfruit with fries because my friend wanted some fries. They came with red cabbage and a delicious sauce!! The flavor was citrusy!! They were delicious. My daughter ordered the American Burger. I believe she is getting tired of that. She said burger was good. Fries were crunchy and seasoned. My other friend ordered the sliders and they were not disappointed either. Overall I highly recommend this place. They have plenty of craft beers and wines. They are always helpful and friendly. read more
