We came here while passing through and had tried the Thai shrimp tacos, chicken tacos and the chicken and waffle plate. We also got the surf n turf tots to start off. This place is amazing! They have moved across the street from their previous location and the ambience is wonderful! Their beer selection is fantastic and their service is even better! Julie was our waitress and she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with all of our choices. She even had the owner's daughter Nicole come over and bring her famous dessert ... her hand made brownie topped with vanilla ice cream! I cannot wait to come back here. Food was so delicious and prepared beautifully! We were greeted by friendly staff when first arriving who immediately got us to our seats. They also continuously checked on us through out our meal. The ambiance is clean cut and i love all the placement of their plants and wood paneling. We sat in the front today but they have a huge outside patio as well as back area which looked so fun! We have heard about their brunch for quite some time now. It's everyday Sunday until I believe 2 pm. Finally had the chance to tried after our run on a Sunday. We ordered their french toast, chicken and waffle, and breakfast plate (I think that's what it's called). They were delicious especially the french toast and the chicken with waffle. Chicken and waffle was savory and has kick to it. The french toast was pumpkin flavor and boy it was delish. From the candied pecan to the pumpkin cream YUM. I really also liked their tots. We love coming here, the food is original and so tasty. They have a small menu which I actually prefer and rotating specials. The menu feels thoughtful and curated. We went on a Thursday for dinner and it was busy but luckily a table of two was available immediately. Our server was very friendly and I could tell she was busy and still had a great attitude never made us feel rushed. Great service! My husband ordered the Mac and cheese and woooow sooo flavorful, it came with pork belly and crispy Brussels and truly tasted homemade! I ordered the 50/50 burger which was delicious but I swapped out the spicy items. I was happy to see the burger came with delicious steak fries. We split our dishes and ordered dessert to go since we couldn't pass up their cheesecake special. My only downside was that some of the items (appetizers and beer) were a bit pricier than I expected. The entrees were priced well though. We'll definitely be back this is one of our favorites in OTC (Old Town Clovis)! read more

I am not even out of the restaurant yet and want to shout from the rooftop how incredible this place is!! We stopped by on our trip back home and my gosh. Firstly: we couldn't find the door as the sign had blown over and one of the waitstaff came outside asking if we were looking for the craft house -- he welcomed us in and seated us right away. Excellent customer service for point 2! The waitress who had our table was incredibly sweet and very helpful with how the dishes were prepared. Our food came out super fast and if I can just say -- there was about 19 things on the menu I NEEDED to have -- but I came in wanting something cool and fresh -- so for point 3 -- the hummus charcuterie for appetizer was the first thing and it was the best hummus I've ever had -- it was better than most Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. Excellent! My husband had a Pizza port honey ale, and it was phenomenal. He had the pork belly slider with a side salad and again, can't say anything but praise! It was crispy and flavorful super tender and just so good all around! I ordered the filet caprese tacos -- wow. The combination of balsamic and filet with microgreens was incredible. Tender beef and creamy mozzarella with flakes of grated parm. Wow. Just wow. And our trip was timed perfectly because they were hosting a baby shower in the back and offered everyone in the dining area a slice of the most incredible chocolate cake they had leftover -- well it was the best chocolate cake I've ever had -- turns out it was from Save Mart (so plug for them too!) 8" chocolate fudge cake and that will be my go-to forever now if I need a cake! Excellent experience, super customer service, and I told my husband if we are looking for lunch or dinner food in Clovis or Fresno when we come up, never ask me where I want to eat because it's always going to be here. Great place. Went there for Mother's Day. Waitstaff was very courteous. Had the chilaquiles and the wife had the crab cakes. Great flavor on both. Even the owners greet you and come out to check on you. Not many places do that. I would recommend The Craft House to anyone who wants good service and great food. read more

I can't believe this place has been around for 6 yrs and I had not even heard of it. We arrived at 4:30PM on a Saturday. Just in time for happy hour! Our drinks were only $4! I got a Pineapple Cider and my friend got a seltzer drink that was like a mimosa but not as sweet. We let our waiter help us decide between dishes and desserts. I got the Guacamole Ghost burger (medium-rare) and my friend got the filet mignon tacos. Both dishes come with these amazingly seasoned fries cooked perfectly. We also had sriracha sauce to dip the fries in that I highly recommend! For dessert there was only 2 choices so we got one of each to try and shared. We got the chocolate cake and a lemon marscapone cake. The food was flippin' fantastic! Everything tasted like heaven. Everything was seasoned right and cooked perfectly. Dessert was exceptional. Although the chocolate cake was rich and dense, we definitely preferred the lemon marscapone cake more! Our waiter was quick and very helpful! Can't say a bad thing about this place at all. The chicken was juicy and crispy. Fresh butter leaf lettuce and tomato. I put a ghost pepper cheese on it to add a little spicy. The fries were seasoned well, crispy and had lots of flavor. A bit awkward to eat out of hand but festive nonetheless. However, the standout item was the sweet potato waffle fries, which were almost an afterthought. So glad we didn't miss these. Amazing and worth every single calorie. Our lunch companion enjoyed his Backyard Burger (juicy and perfectly cooked) and a crisp fresh green salad (lemon vinaigrette nicely balanced). My husband went there to place our order and said it was hard to locate because there wasn't really any signs other than a small chalkboard sign when you enter the restaurant. I ordered the backyard Burger well done and my husband got the Thai shrimp tacos with a side of tots. I bit into my burger and out came some juice along with blood. Disgusting! I then noticed my burger was fairly pink and blood had actually soaked into the bun thus ending my dinner and appetite. The fries were fairly salty to the point of almost being inedible. My husband said the Thai shrimp tacos were okay but not as spicy as you would think for Thai tacos. He also said the tots were really greasy. It's super clean and cute in there, not a whole lot of room and seating seems too close to the next table. They don't offer real drinks the server kept calling them spirits I don't know if don't know what spirits are but after having two drinks each, I just felt like I was drinking super sugary juice and never got the buzz. I stole some of my bf's tots and they were the best I have had, crunchy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. We also got the wings for an appetizer, and I loved the slightly sweet, slightly spicy sauce. They came out piping hot and another big portion.
