It cost $5.00 for a small orange juice and $4.00 for coffee. Seriously?! Three hostesses at front counter when two should only be needed during rush hour. One was on her iphone some of the time. I found the food at IHOP better (and cheaper). Ordered eggs Benedict ($17.) and the poched egg was barely cooked, runny whites all over. Sent it back and I think they microwaved, bc then both whites and yolk were cooked. Hubby ordered decent-sized steak and eggs, and said steak was good but a little tough (med-rare). Waitress was kind and quick. She kept coffee flowing. Decor needs updating but the place looked clean, although no rating from the health dept. on display- restaurants usually post near cashier. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went here because it was a spur of the moment visit. My father wanted breakfast and it was the closest place. He's in a wheelchair and I had the hardest time trying to find the ramp. A young lady standing near the restaurant saw my confusion and showed me the neaest ramp. Once inside I was not impressed with the decor. We were seated immediately and someone took our drink order right away. The waiter was not far behind and took our order. My father ordered the French toast and I ordered turkey bacon and eggs which I requested them to be cooked scrambled soft. My eggs came overcooked the turkey bacon was the think kind and undercooked. My seasoned potatoes where fine and my fathers food was perfect. The waiter (Carlos) said he would have them cook me the eggs the way I requested them but I said never mind. I just wasn't going to eat them. A little while later the came to me with soft scrambled eggs. Everything else was fine up to point when we finished and the waiter was conversing with another table which appeared to be people he knew. I kept waiting for him to turn around so that I could get his attention but it never happened. I eventually asked the young lady who cleans the table to retrieve my check for me. Here on a Saturday morning at around 945am and there was no wait! This was the first time we've been to this location. The place has lots of seating. We got two items off the kids menu which were the ham & cheese scramble and chocolate pancakes. We did the two eggs & bacon regular plate with hash browns and toast, and the pesto scramble with hash browns. I swear I said hash browns but I got the potatoes. Oh well. Didn't want to make a fuss because so was so hungry so I just ate it. The coffee cake was alright, I usually prefer it without the syrup drizzle and with a nice crunchy crust but this time we didn't get that. My pesto plate wasn't spectacular and I ended up just eating off my husband's plate. I asked for a box afterwards and the server tried to box it up for me. As she did, she spilled 4-5 pieces of potatoes onto my lap. Thankfully, my clothes didn't stain. It's a mediocre breakfast place. Something's they are good at others not so munch. I have gone there a few times and had the eggs Benedict, Ham and eggs and an omelet. The first two were ok but they burnt the omelet. The house potatoes are good as they season them and are definitely a go to when ordering. The coffee cake instead of toast is also a solid choice. The bad news, I stopped going when they raised the prices by 20%. The soda was increased by 40%. There are other places like Sunrise cafe, Broken yoke and even Ely's that serve up a good breakfast without charging 20% more. June 19, 2022 - Father's Day Breakfast, someplace new to try! We had a 15 minute wait and they text you when it's your turn also you can check how many parties are ahead of you. Parent's Days are always the busiest mornings ever! Than again every day is parent's day. I loved the atmosphere and all the positveness. I didn't get a picture but I saw the greatest saying "We don't have WIFi, talk to each other" Everything I saw made me smile, especially all the faces, I'm a family person. When I'm with my family I don't mind the wait most of the time. Coolest option "Toast or Coffee Cake", Had to try the Coffee Cake, so delicious with a peach filling. It is definitely a must order and so good with Coffee. My Mystery Arm is not a cake person, maybe it's a new Era or something but he did try it and he did enjoy it, lol in fact he took the first bite and several more after, so yes it was good. Mystery Arm had the Cheeseburger Skillet, which he did enjoy, all the skillets looked good! Of course we love Steak so my son and I had Steak and eggs. Hash Browns and Egg Whites for him, and Potatoes and Over Easy for me (Can't forget Cholula on my eggs). Service is what I enjoy, Leilani our waitress was great, as busy as she was, she was on top of things, with a beautiful smile. Like her name she is a Heavenly Flower. I loved seeing that she just flowed to all her guests with laughs and smiles. I must not forget Shane, her Busser and Helper. Very Courteous young man with a smile. I am one to notice more than just our Waiter or Waitress. Bussers are hard workers as well and without their help, establishments wouldn't look as good. I like to make sure they know they are appreciated as much as everyone else. So many smiling happy families this morning! I also noticed that the specials for the day was two of the staffs pick, one was Adrianna's and one was Leilani's choice, I thought that was pretty cool. I came here with friends during our lunch time because all of us were craving breakfast food and one of my friends swears the food is amazing. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito with salsa on the side. Our orders came after about ten or fifteen minutes. The burrito was decent, but the salsa that goes on top of it was not great. It tasted like tomato paste with some chopped onions and light seasoning. The potatoes on the side tasted okay, but seemed under seasoned as well. I was most surprised when the bill came and they charged $1.60 for that gross salsa. Most restaurants give you salsa for free, or sometimes have it out for people to pour in little cups for themselves, but this was new. Probably wont be coming back here anytime soon. read more

No wait this morning. Went in for a late breakfast. The food was great. I recommend the monte cristo. The orange juice was also delicious and sweet. My husband had the pancakes. The server was okay. Great location. Food super bland & canned Salsa similar to the grocery store Pace Picante style. I was anticipating eggs topped w/ a semi-fresh salsa. The coffee cake (you can choose between coffee cake or toast with most menu) is what I always come back for- fluffy, warm and not too sweet. Their skillets are always hot and flavors are on point as well. The omelette are good but I've definitely had better. Hash browns are perfectly cooked- crispy on top and juicy underneath. So delish with ketchup + hot sauce mix if you like a bit of kick! I recommend this place if you are looking for a local go-to breakfast spot. I've dined here quite a few times, so it's safe to say this place is A-ok in my book. It's your typical sit down breakfast/lunch place with omelets, pancakes, skillets, sandwiches and burgers. The portions are fairly large and the prices are decent. We always have left overs no matter what we order. I've tried breakfast and lunch items, but honestly nothing really stands out as "wow I need to order this again." The only thing worth mentioning is their COFFEE CAKE! It's served warm and it's so so soft. The flavor changes daily but my favorite has got to be the strawberry or the pumpkin. Even if I order a burger, I will still order me a side of coffee cake, it's that good. The service is hit or miss. I've had servers who looked happy to be there. However, I've also had servers who hated their lives and it showed. On our last visit, our server seemed to be rushing through the motions. No biggie though. The one thing I'm definitely not a fan of is the waiting area. It can get congested really fast. With customers having to go to the register to pay, that just adds to even more congestion. I went with my son to have breakfast to The Cracked Egg and I was thinking about what to order, so I decided to get a Cheese Omelette with Seasoned Potatoes as a side. THEY ARE OPEN! Praise the Lord! They are practicing safe social distancing and all staff are wearing gloves, masks, etc. They are even sanitizing ALL condiments. (I overheard the staff, because they don't have it on display on the table.) We found out on Facebook that they're open and their hours are limited + amount of people inside are limited. (Call to make sure you can get in) Overall, I teared up a bit, because going out to eat is such a privilege and blessing in one. I don't ever want to take these moments for granted. Went to this location today. Service from Adrianna was great, but mistakes on my food order were non-ending! I ordered (and fully paid for) a Turkey Melt with Cheddar Cheese instead of Jack Cheese and Mustard instead of Thousand Island dressing. What I received was a Turkey Melt with Jack Cheese and Mayonnaise. In addition, it didn't have Bacon but I didn't catch it until the replacement came. The replacement had the correct cheese and mustard but, again, no bacon. Since my party had now already eaten, I didn't send this back for a second time. However, after thinking more about this, I should have taken this issue up with the manager and had my correct order packed to go. Needless to say, if I'm paying the nearly $20 for an item, I want that item correct, with all the items it's suppose to come with! Perhaps, a menu should be posted with the cooks, so they can get their act together! Maybe, just maybe, they'll do better in 2024. Went to the St. Rose location last Monday & was pleasantly surprised by the cheerful & lively atmosphere. This was my first visit & it was very busy but I was seated quickly by the smiling hostess... my friend joined me about 15 minutes later. She had the combination "Eggs Benedict " & I had the hash skillet... both were delicious! They have a very extensive breakfast & luncheon menu as these are the hours of operation. Prices are moderate for the large portions of food they serve! I will definitely go back. There is parking in front of the restaurant as it's a small neighborhood center called ROSEMAR behind a Chevron station. this was absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever been served. eggs were ordered over medium and came so runny that I don't think they had been cooked at all. They were sent back and were returned in the exact same condition. The hashbrowns came white and raw and when we asked for them to be cooked a little more they came back dark brown and so crispy that we inquired about how they were prepared and we were told they were put in a deep fryer. When we asked why they couldn't be cooked on the stove we were told that would take too long. The toast was white and not toasted and slathered with a vegetable oil that tasted rancid. Family friendly breakfast place especially for a big group. I had one of the egg Benedict it was delicious, my only complaint was that my English muffin was a little soggy. The sauce was creamy and the eggs were yoked.
