Everything was delicious. From the Margaritas to the seafood. Friendly environment. Y'all give them some love. Also idk what kind of batter is on the fried shrimp. It is hitting. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this place. They really don't have a robust drink menu but they do have the basics. The bar service is solid ....the bartender is very likable. It's always a good time when I pop in for a quick drink. The vibes are high when the dj is here. The music is always good! read more

I was new to this place that my boyfriend recommended while I was in town. Said everyone raves about this place. Food was good. I had the crab legs with egg, potatoes, sausage corn etc. I got it mild but I should've tried the hot. Had it with a Pepsi and I had no complaints on the food. Oh yeah! I had fries too and they were crunchy and hot! Service was cool, it wasn't busy when we went but it looks like they get more take out orders than dining in. read more

I have been here a couple of times already, but today I ordered takeout. There was no one else waiting and I was greeted right as I walked in. They took my order at the bar and had my food out in around 20 minutes. Today was pretty crowded, but I didn't expect anything different as they normal have a good amount of people up until the last hour or two. Normally there is music (that can be a little much at times), but there was no dj tonight. It's a vibe if you care for a night out. I have always enjoyed the food(portions could be better) but overall I have always enjoyed coming here. read more

Good food, included a show! Mell was a good waiter! Everything was clean and service was fast. read more

The food is sooo good and the house seasoning is the best! The patrons for this location are not people I would typically hang with. The music is too LOUD! read more

Whoever the young lady is at the front taking orders, customer service is very unprofessional and she needs to be laid off the bartender is a wonderful person though...when you walk in they don't greet you with love and respect and also they're having full conversations on the phone while the customers are trying to make their order very unprofessional... the food is always good, but most of the employees don't deserve the position read more

Came here for dinner while visiting from Cali! I was very impressed by the taste and quality of food. They had lots of options to choose from. I particularly loved that you can get half pounds of a certain item and the bags already come with potatoes, sausage, and corn. Something you have to pay for individually in Cali. We came on a Friday night and there was a DJ as well! Loved it! If ever back down South I will definitely be coming back again! read more

I was a little skeptical of this place, but the food was AMAZING!! I got fried shrimp & my husband got fried catfish, both were delicious!! The service is a little slow do don't stop in if you in a hurry, but if got some time to kill definitely give it a try! read more

My family comes here often, I've only been with them twice and we've had Mell serve us. He is amazing and always so so nice. Definitely ask for him! read more

I used to go to this restaurant almost every other weekend , and it used to be so good. Felt like it was better than any other seafood restaurant but now the bags are not the same. The Waiter tried her best to be so nice about everything but it took my friend so long to get her food after it was wrote up wrong she got her food by the time the table was ready to leave. Corn was disgusting and tasted like it had been sitting for a couple of days. please do better or close before yall get someone sick. Overall the DJ was amazing!! read more

I had blue crab, like whole blue crab and wasn't familiar with what would be inside so I was put off by that. The rest was good though and that was just me and my tastes. The music is good but too loud. Overall a nice place with good food and service. read more

Great food and the price is definitely right. Soooooooooooooooo goooooooood give them a try

The restaurant just opened a couple days ago. Stopped today for lunch. Was seated immediately. Hostess and servers nice & attentive. This place is very similar to The Juicy Crab in Atlanta and The Boiling Crab in LA. We started with the calamari basket. Big thick calamari rings and thick crispy batter with the boom boom sauce. Very good. Then we had no head shrimp in the house seasoning and medium spice plus extra corn. Very good, seasoned well, just the right amount of kick. The kids had chicken finger baskets which came with 2 extra large fingers and lots of fries. Everything was delicious. We will definitely frequent this place. read more

Service today was unacceptable! We called before arriving and asked closing time (11pm) was what we were informed so we drove there. Upon arrival we enter and a young lady (employee) saw us and walked right pass us. We thought she was getting us a table. She never returned. Then, the gentleman at the bar saw us, he did nothing. One kitchen staff was friendly offered us a menu and left (but we already knew what we wanted). We waited a few minutes more still nothing..... we left. It was poor service to be totally acknowledged but yet dismissed and ignored. The young lady could have said that their Kitchen was done taking orders or something! Smh read more

This was my first time coming to this location. The bathroom had tissue, soap and papers towel however it could've been cleaner. There was 3 stalls which is ok for this size restaurant. This is not the location for a date on Friday. Reason being the music is very loud and there is a live DJ who talks over the music selling god knows what lol. So if your on a date go else where so you guys can talk and enjoy each other. UPDATE: the live DJ is not during the week. Now if you want the club vibe, and good food come on down. The music isn't bad and neither is the food. I had the fried shrimp and fries which was good. Our waitress Brittany was very good. The bartender isn't the best. Drinks could've been better, they had a nice selection too. Next time I will sit at the bar to help them lol. I will come back and try the shrimp bag with potatoes and corn. read more

Horrible service the music too loud, really bad swrvice and bad experience they even have glass for wine

Did not get enough food for the price. My everything seasoning just tasted like STRAIGHT lemon pepper. It was bad. I had to pay extra for seasoning that should've been on the boil already. I will not be back! read more

My girl and I come here every now and again, and the service and food is typically ok. Today I came on my birthday to get some food and was highly disappointed. My girlfriend ordered the crab boil and the crab legs were not good at all. They were very undercooked and the meat was tough. We told our waitress and she said she would speak with her manager. She comes back and simply states that the crab legs come from a different provider and they are cooked the same way. Manager didn't even bother to come out and we were given no other options and not so much as an apology. Frankly, I'm highly disappointed. We plan on trying some of the other crab spots in town. read more

This place is great. The food is really tasty. Service is great. Nice atmosphere. Fair prices. Will come back for sure.

Walked in no one wanted to sit us down. Walked by several times and nothing. Then they were playing vulgar music which is fine, but not at a restaurant. It was excessively loud too. It was like a club not a restaurant. And this was on a weekday also. read more

1.5.20 My daughter wanted crab legs for her bday and we googled places open at 8pm and this place came up. It was a 50 minute drive so we prayed that it would be good. Got several negative reviews on FB but we were already in route and decided to give it a try anyway bcus a good friend of mine DeCorey Hale assured me that it was worth trying. We get there and it was like a club. Live music, jam packed, and no parking. I was like omg I bought my 13 y/o to a club for her bday. lol. We walked in and there was a small wait. Once seat the atmosophere was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The DJ made my daughters bday very memorable for her and I appreciated that very much. The crab legs were a nice size and the easily came out of the shells. Everything was flavorful and we ate ourselves sick. The manager upon introducing myself (as she also knows my Friend) was very nice and even discounted my ticket. I thought that was quite nice as well. I informed her that my bday was coming up in 3 weeks and that I would return here for my gathering since I loved the experience. She told me to contact her and she'd make sure I had a table. I had a great experience none like what my friends told me on FB. 1.19.20 I called and asked for the manager Tomille as she told me to do. She took the call and barely listened to me before passing the call to someone else to make my reservation ( I assumed she was busy). I reserved tables for a party of 15 on 1.25.19 @ 7:30. The young lady told me her bday celebration was also that same day and we would enjoy ourselves. 1.25.19 Most of my party had arrived at 7pm. We had balloons and a cake the whole nine. Clearly visible in all the chaos there. They know how I am with time and being late and I warned everyone via text about the parking situation. We checked in and a young hostess told us my party was seated here. There was a table of people whom we did not know. We told her and she said to wait a moment. This baby was pretty young and very flustered with all the movement. She was overwhelmed. Waited about 20 minutes since I had 3-4 guest that hadn't made it and the shit show began. Asked about the table again and was told several things by different hostess. 1. Another party stole my tables and they are sorry. 2. We were not here by 7:30p so we cant be seated. 3. Wait a moment and let them find us a spot. The manager had the different kids coming to speak to me but not once did she come address us. One of my guest had called to let them know that she was in route because they couldn't reach me. (so they said I was not there either lol even though they had been speaking with me an 45 minutes by this point). She did this bcus I told her they wouldn't sit us without all of us being present in my bday invitation text. We spoke to several servers and they all just saying different things. One server asked me to step outside and she explained as best she could what she felt happened and said she was sorry. We all go back in and by the time we get back to the hostess counter she says "They told me to tell you that we will not be seating you tonight" OMFG. I have made everyone drive over an hour to get here to repeat to this grand experience I been bragging out only for them to hand me there ass to kiss on my bday in front of everyone. The manager Tomille looking from afar as the kids run back and forth to her for guidance. I was sooooo embarrassed but also disappointed in the management and how this entire ordeal was handled. We all stood outside in the damn cold searching calling places that would take a party of 15 at 9pm. Seasons 52 on 280 was my saving grace. My friend DeCorey apologized to me as well but I was more happy that he was held up and couldn't make it as his drive was the furthest of us all. This experience shaped how the rest of my evening went. No celebration was had at all just a huge discussion on what we had experienced here. Customer service is definitely everything no matter what, the ball was dropped and kicked. read more

The food is fresh & excellent- the service is a lot of fun at the Roebuck location. Highly recommend this hidden jewel.

This place never fails me. I usually order online so that I can pick my food up to go. It's always hot and fresh. They are always jamming inside the restaurant. I hope this restaurant does not leave. I am a seafood fanatic. If you do go inside, see if Olivia is there. She was a great waitress when I went. Always made sure that I was good. read more

I now frequent here. I enjoy the food. I always stick with the shrimp head off with the house seasoning. The food is always delicious. They provide bib and gloves, but I never use them. The service is always pleasant. The only downside is that there is music blaring in the background. If it was cut down dramatically, that would work. read more

This review is for the Anniston, AL location. *Food - Great! We were served within 5 minutes after ordering. I got the fried shrimp & fried calamari, both were excellent! The place is clean and well taken care of. *Atmosphere- HORRID. The employees are very very loud, laughing and singing. They were playing pop/rap music over the speakers and some of the songs were very vulgar, not family friendly, and just inappropriate for a restaurant setting. I felt like I was in a club & I'm glad I didn't bring my 7 year old with us. The employees were dancing and twerking in the front of the restaurant, visible to almost everyone dining. So this is why I gave it a 3 star. Had the Atmosphere been better, I would have gave it a 5 star. It just needs more professionalism. For now on I'll be going through the drive through to go home and enjoy the food in peace & I recommend you do the same! read more

The service at this location is poor. If you want good food and service, visit Crestwood location.

The seafood bags are my favorite thing to get here. I first had this seafood in a bag concept in a popular Atlanta restaurant. Although that one is some what better, The Crab Barrack is a great addition to the area. The service is usually good and a fun atmosphere of you catch karaoke night. They do have a bar but we haven't tried any alcoholic beverages when we have been. I do recommend Crab Barrack and you must try your fab seafood steamed in the bag. Their mild seasoning is bland to me. If you want a little kick you have to go for the hit seasoning. read more

I was/am actually reserving full judgment... the food my party had was cooked to perfection... wings, head off shrimp, calamari, etc... however, the seasoning left a lot to be desired. I asked for the house special sauce hot but it tasted mostly like plain butter on shrimp that wasn't seasoned very well. It was cooked right but the lack of seasoning was stark... it was an opening night so maybe they hadn't gotten things down quite yet but I was already disappointed not to be able to try the crab or oysters. The calamari was fried and seasoned better and according to my table mate, the fried tilapia was also pretty good. However, the wings were also not seasoned. We asked for lemon pepper but they tasted like they only poured the house special butter sauce over them because they were so greasy and served in what looked like a puddle of butter. I will give them time before I go try the crab legs to get a better handle on things. I will say that the service was really good and our hostess and server did all they could to make sure we had a great first time experience. Also, management milled around asking for feedback and making sure all was well with the service. I was surprised the food quality was not better considering the small crowd and limited menu. Really hoping this is better next time and the food we got was a fluke on this night. read more

I'm really glad a really affordable and tasty seafood restaurant opened in roebuck. This place is convenient for a seafood lover and the customization of seasoning and sauces are a great touch with a good selection of food. The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 is because of the newly hired staff learning and tend to be forgetful but otherwise it's a 5/5. read more

Best sauce I've ever had. Hands down! Be sure to check your bag BEFORE leaving though. I've had items left off. Not too often but still!

Visited The Crab Barrack on 10/8/19 with out of town friends. The outside looks a little sketchy, but once inside, it was very nice and smelled AMAZING! Our server was N'Kosi who was informative, friendly, and very attentive. We all had boils in a bag with the king crab. House seasoning is DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. We came from Homewood, so it was about 12 miles. Well worth the drive. I'm looking forward to visiting again. read more

I had the $25.99 snow crab special came with 1ld of snow crab 1lb of shrimp , corn , potatoes , and 3 boiled eggs it was amazing. They give you a crab cracker , gloves , and a apron. The table is covered in paper basically so you won't be throwing the shells back into your boil bag. read more

This establishment gets 2 stars because the food is great. Otherwise it would be just 1. I have been a number of times (at least maybe 8 or so) since they have opened and I always find something new I am unhappy with. For the most part, it's the experience. It's very loud, sometimes the employees are not friendly, and I have witnessed a verbal altercation. Now again, the food is amazing. That is why I continue to visit. So if you don't really care about the things listed about, definitely give them a try. The sauces are very flavorful and all of their seafood is very tasty. I usually get the house sauce with snow crab and green mussels. It's more than enough with the corn and potatoes. You will definitely be full. read more
