I also enjoy that they have various seasonal offerings and daily specials. The dinner area is open with a fishing theme. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ended for me. While the portions were generous, I found the food to be pretty bland. Everything we ordered seemed to rely entirely on the flavor of whatever was being fried rather than any seasoning in the batter itself. The shrimp, catfish, and oysters were all cooked well enough, but they just lacked flavor. Even the fried okra, which is usually one of my favorites, was disappointing. If you're looking for large portions of simply prepared fried seafood, this may be your kind of place. For me, though, the food just didn't have the seasoning or flavor I was hoping for.
