Just kinda of a blah kind of place. Yea it's on the water but there are plenty of bars on the water.

Restaurant found by accident, super cute place inside the Erie-Ottawa International Airport /…read moreLiberty Aviation Museum store. The restaurant reminds you Happy Days sorta restaurant, with the views of the airport and planes parking after landing. Super cute, and did not have to wait long to be seated. Food; Had Eggs and Bacon breakfast, and added cheese to the eggs. The plate literally came out with an actual slice of cheese, don't let it fool you it was still very good. Food was cooked to order, and hit the spot. EXCEPT no Mimosas on Sunday :( Service; Everyone was friendly.

This is the proverbial step back in time ! The diner has been meticulously cared for. The decor is a thoughtful collection of memorabilia from a time when counter diners were all the rage! Our server Emma was sweet and very good!! She checked on us and made sure everything was good. I will have to come back for the country fried steak and gravy for breakfast. We arrived about 1:30 pm, so understandably they weren't serving breakfast. I got the Rosie the riveter bean burger and fries. My husband ordered the tin goose burger. I avoided the milkshake because I had my eye on the coconut pecan pie. However, once I finished the delicious bean burger and perfect fries, I didn't have room for pie. :-(. The good news is, I'm coming back! Opportunity to try other items !!! My husband Loved his burger. He said it was tender and cooked to perfection. Smash burgers eat your heart out!! The buns were perfectly toasted too! Excellent diner! Would give 10 stars if possible ! Thank you for capturing the diner experience both visually and tastefully. "Functioning Artifact" truth! Heck out this great video https://youtu.be/GNwszmYCFmo?si=vWek7aFaxTLjfRv-

We went here for a dinner for my friend's bachelorette party before a night out. We were looking…read morefor good cocktails and a good, hearty dinner - that is exactly what we found here at The Boardwalk! We all ordered cocktails that came with quick service and were delicious! My friend tried the Crab Cake Sandwich and loved every bit of it. I ordered the Simple Cheeseburger, and although it was a typical cheeseburger (with added bacon), it was cooked perfectly and was as juicy as a cheeseburger could get! The fries on the side were great too. We left there being very happy with our choice. This is a great spot on the Boardwalk if you ever visit Put-in-Bay!!!

When we walked in we were a bit confused as there were multiple bars and food areas. The bathrooms were on the walkway leading to the restaurant. They were small and pretty filthy. One toilet one broken and filled with waste, and the other had toilet paper all over the stall. We were visiting with our dog and discovered, after walking upstairs, that dogs are not allowed on the upper deck. They are allowed on the lower and back portions of the area. We ended up at the seafood bar on the main level. Being from Maryland we're use to seafood with a lot more flavor and seasoning to it. This was very expensive for bland seafood. We also ordered a frozen lobster bisque to-go. (The plastic containers were flimsy and didn't make it back to the mainland before it cracked down the whole side.) If we go to the island again this will be a spot to skip.
