It is truly a hidden gem. We were there for a date night, but to be honest a friends night out would be the best here. There are lots of different types of spaces in this adorable gem! From intimate to communal to standard dining. We have already begun to plan our next trip.... coming from Wyoming!

Man what happened to this place…read more. Jasmine used to be my favorite bar in the area. They provided a varied menu with incredibly unique and delicious drinks with an upscale yet cozy vibe inside. However our last visit was anything but. Supposedly they've made the decision to drop the entire "old menu" as the bartender called it in favor for an uninspired and honestly boring Christmas menu with drinks that weren't even remotely on the level of their previous offerings. Yet the prices were actually higher than their standards. This current menu feels like something you'd pay $11 for at a dive or chain restaurant. After a relatively long wait for service, we ordered 3 drinks, having to repeat ourselves multiple times to the hostess that didn't seem to have any clue of what their drinks were called. Of the 3, none of them included the garnishes that were outlined in the menu, and one drink was completely wrong. We were allowed to keep it and had it replaced at no cost at least, but even the replacement did not have the correct garnish per the menu. I'm praying this place didn't sell out and it's just in some strange transition period between seasons but I won't be returning to check until some time after the new year and these awful drinks are gone. For now, go to Nora's.

Stayed at Loveland's Best Western Plus for a week and ordered take out twice from Monroe's. First…read moreorder was really good, had the French Dip. Second time we splurged & ordered 2 of the Colorado Ribeyes. When you order a steak medium rare and you get it well done AND pay $29 it doesn't promote a lot of confidence in the kitchen staff! Had ordered the artichoke spinach dip that came with rock hard pita chips that could break concrete! No problem, we'll eat the celery & carrots that also came with it. NEGATIVE! Carrots were so dried out they were cracking, and the celery was rotted! So much for the appetizer! They offered to remake the steaks, comped the appetizer & offered us free dessert. Round 2...steaks were AGAIN cooked well done! This was a re-do so one would think extra effort would have been made...NOT! It was Saturday evening and by the time we had sat down to eat again it was 9:00. Called them back but they were already closed. Okay...so we'll take them back Sunday...NO CAN DO, closed on Sunday! Doesn't open until 4pm Monday. Husband takes them back for a REFUND this time only to be told "they've done all they can do" REALLY? I don't think you even came close! If you're going to charge people $29 for a steak THEN hire kitchen staff that knows how to cook them as the paying customer requests! There's a HUGE difference between MR & WD and if you can't cook it accordingly then you should not have steak on your menu!! Since you find yourself in the position of "doing all you can do" then you leave me no choice to "do all I can do" and that will be to dispute the charge with my financial institution! For a business that operates in the food industry, hospitality & customer service Monroe's needs a refresher course ASAP! Staff was pleasant but whoever made the decision to not do the right thing and refund the steaks that weren't edible after the second time & the steaks were brought back to you uneaten, then I'll do the honors of exercising my opinion on every social media platform I can. Would NOT recommend this restaurant! If you want a great steak, frequent a good steakhouse!

First, I would love to say that the Bartender was 100% awesome. She mixed drinks perfectly and…read moretended to everyone's needs like a champ! The way she was treated will come up further in my review. As a U.S. Attorney, I've traveled domestically and abroad for nearly 2 decades and been to countless countries and to 4 continents. Saying that, settling into a hotel's small dive bar is usually what helps relax my nerves from the week's work. On 17 May, I stopped in to see a band that I heard about through some mutual acquaintances. I couldn't have been more disappointed with the atmosphere that evening. I spoke to a couple of gals who were there and couldn't have felt more uncomfortable with that interaction. As I moved back to sit at the bar, the ambience was so pleasant with the bartender "Peaches". She was very busy, as I had stated, but she was a cozy welcome that I had come to expect from visiting Cheyenne in the past. As I was there, the locals embraced my presence and was made to feel like one of their own. About 5-6 songs into the band's set, the gals that I spoke with earlier approached the bartender at the rear of the bar. The older lady was very rude to her. That poor girls enthusiasm drained from her face. A couple patrons and myself later determined that the rude gal was the owner and her shadow was some sort of management. For the next several songs, I noticed the atmosphere change from a first person perspective as patrons became rude, demanding and refusing to pay for their drinks, siting the owners tab would cover it. What an embarrassment for a business that had a small crowd that fed off the owners poor attitude. This is unlike anything I've expected in Cheyenne or anywhere else in the world. I'd hope that was an isolated incident. As the next 15-20 minutes passed, several patrons left as a result of the tensions in the atmosphere. Several of us that decided to leave stopped to talk to several folks out on the patio who hadn't experienced the tensions inside. Amongst those folks outside, there were a couple bikers, veterans, a group of ladies that were all laughing it up at one of the bikers hilarious jokes. I asked where another place was that I could go that was casual, welcoming and had a great bartender. Collectively it was decided that we all would go to a place just south of the Wigwam several blocks, tucked behind a couple other bars, this atmosphere was very different and a breath of fresh air. The owner happened to be there and I mentioned Peaches to her. She was very nice! The Wigwam just seemed like some band groupies who were there to hobnob with the owner. The fact that their attitudes were what changed my opinion of the Wigwam was not of anything I'd say was bad. I found a new home away from home at I**'* surrounded by a multitude of lifestyles and experiences. In closing, I'd like to thank Peaches for her hospitality! Stay sweet!
