I know bagels a little bit. These are really good bagels. The are REAL bagels. Dunked in boiling water before baking. Loads of toppings. A good chewy crust. A tender interior. The perfect bed for cream cheese. The service is good. Really excellent. Energetic young folk getting the job done. And the quality is the best in the area. If they were in my old home town in North Jersey they would still be successful.

After I sat down, I noticed they had already cleaned the espresso machine even though they weren't closed yet. Then I overheard the guy at the register tell another employee to basically just add a lot of extra caramel so I wouldn't notice that they weren't putting any espresso in my "latte." Sure enough, when they handed me my drink, it was literally just milk and caramel. No espresso. I paid for a latte and was knowingly given something completely different because they apparently couldn't be bothered to use the espresso machine 30 minutes before closing. If you're going to stop making coffee half an hour before closing, then close half an hour earlier. Don't charge customers for drinks you aren't actually making and then try to cover it up by dumping extra syrup in them. The rude attitude was bad enough, but overhearing an employee openly discuss trying to trick me into not noticing was honestly unbelievable. Absolutely terrible customer service and such an unprofessional experience. Will never come back.

This was our chance to use the facilities, grab a drink, stretch out legs, and everything else before having to hop back into the vehicle. Located almost directly off the highway makes for a convenient stop if you are traveling through the area. The lot is plenty big to accommodate an influx of vehicles. Inside it is well organized and stocked. My nephew wanted a snack and drink, so we browsed the shelves. Grabbed drinks from the cooler and made our way to the register. I would have opted for self checkout but I needed something from behind the counter. Staff were pleasant and swift. They were very helpful and made the checkout process a breeze. Once the items were in hand and bagged, we were out the door to continue our journey.

There is no way to take that off that we could see, so I ordered a salad I didn't even want because I didn't want to stand there and customize the 17 things on the first salad. This is when it dropped to a zero. I ordered the fruit nutty chicken salad which looks nothing like the picture, and nothing like chicken. I received 2 packages of apples, one of which was slimy and expired. Apples dated 4/19 and today is 4/22. The faux chicken is the kind that comes frozen in a bag and they just thaw before they throw it on. Worst salad ever, won't make that mistake again.
