This was our chance to use the facilities, grab a drink, stretch out legs, and everything else before having to hop back into the vehicle. Located almost directly off the highway makes for a convenient stop if you are traveling through the area. The lot is plenty big to accommodate an influx of vehicles. Inside it is well organized and stocked. My nephew wanted a snack and drink, so we browsed the shelves. Grabbed drinks from the cooler and made our way to the register. I would have opted for self checkout but I needed something from behind the counter. Staff were pleasant and swift. They were very helpful and made the checkout process a breeze. As usual a good pit stop. When traveling in the area, usually roll in here. The gas guzzler needs to be fueled up more. Here the prices will be competitive. Also there are lots of pumps. These areas with trash cans are clean. It has a nice canopy to protect you from the elements. As for the store, it's decent for basic purposes. The MTO subs are pretty good. Also I like their coffee, both for boost and taste. They have a wide variety of snacks available. The employees are friendly, and check out lines are within reason. Pepperoni rolls are a thing in this state, so I asked the hotel front desk for a recommendation. The guy suggested Sheetz. I was a bit dubious at first since it's a gas station, but I looked up the website and you can order online (made me feel better)! Enough said. 3 cheese mac and cheese: Cold but delicious. This was extremely creamy, better than some diners I've been to where the cheese and pasta are clumped together. Not so in this case. I'd definitely order again! Fried pickle chips and tater tots: Good, I'd order again. Wisconsin cheese curds: Skip this. The cheese curds had no flavor and squeaked against your teeth while eating. To a Wisconsin person, this would be an insult. Wisconsin cheese curds are salty (but yummy) and NEVER squeak against your teeth because the cheese is smooth. I'd almost suspect the Wisconsin cheese curds here are made with mozzarella (since they're not salty), and that's not how they're made. I should note I travel to Wisconsin every few months. Mac and cheese Cheetos: Buy again. The mac and cheese is deep fat fried with a coating of Cheetos. Brilliant idea and yummy taste! I mobile ordered a frozen latte and tater bombs. Pretty simple order. When I arrived at the store I was handed my tater bombs and told to have a good day. I assumed someone else was making the latte. I was wrong. After waiting for the latte for a few minutes I asked about it and the employee checked the monitor and said something along the lines of "it didn't go off." She threw my latte together and it tastes terrible. Usually I get 6 tater bombs in the bag. There were 5 and they weren't even cooked all the way. They just fell apart. So for $11, I got a disgusting frozen latte and soggy clumps of tater tots. Every other Sheetz around here is fine. Avoid this one at all cost. read more

We came here to fill up before a long road trip to Tennessee. We went inside to get food and drinks while pump was running. Any normal person would expect pump to shut off when tank is full. The pump kept running until finally charging us 100 dollars, or employee emergency shut off pump. We didn't realize until we came outside that the pump had over flown. Manager continued to yell and scream at us as about the accident. NEVER IN MY LIFE has this ever happened to me, nor should it if pump is properly maintenanced. Manager continued to tell me I would not get my money back. Fire department and police came to ratify the problem. Never will return to this place. I selected margarine and jelly for my breakfast sandwich. There was no margarine on it, and they put a packet of jelly on the side instead of putting it on the sandwich so I had to deal with it in the car myself. What a mess. Also I got an email from my Sheetz rewards card that I would get a free drink next time I was in, and I told the girl, and she still charged me for it even though I used my card. When I asked her about it she just said that I was being charged for it and didn't offer to help figure out why it wasn't coming up as free. This location sucks. read more
