While my drink was made fairly quickly, the barista was not very friendly. There was limited interaction to begin with because ordering at the kiosk.I personally prefer ordering at a kiosk, so I can take my time and look all the options over.But when I had thanked the barista for my beverage, I was not even acknowledged.

The staff greeted us as soon as we entered and were so fast to prepare our order. The space is small with no indoor seating, but they do have a few picnic tables out back.

Nest & Nook is a gift shop of home items on one side, and on the other side they have a counter where you can order a coffee or a cookie. All with natural, earth tones. They also have books for sale for kids and grownups. As far as coffee, they have a variety of coffee and tea drinks. I got their special coffee The Phoenix. This is a vanilla latte with foam. I was a bit let down by this coffee drink. It was super watered down, and there wasn't any foam. It came in a tall orange glass, which was lovely. I hope with time they can perfect the recipe of their specialty coffee drinks. We also got a locally made oatmeal cookie to share. This was soft, delicious, moist, fresh and bursting with raisins and flavor. The kids had a great time playing, that they didn't want to leave. And the adults had some uninterrupted time to chat. While waiting for my cortado I noticed they used Cordial Coffee Shop beans. I enjoyed the cortado so much that I wrote the roasters information down with the hope of visiting the shop one day. Well...I finally made it to Cordial Coffee Shop and it was well worth the wait. The barista made an exceptional cortado and the shop was in a beautiful old building.
