The elk burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful, and one of the best I've had. Paired it with a huckleberry honey beer that added the perfect touch of sweetness. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well-seasoned, definitely worth the hype. Great local spot with amazing food, fast service, and a laid-back atmosphere. I'll absolutely be back for the patio views

Bison burger! Homemade cut fries.

Great food! Ate here on last night in Yellowstone. Under construction but don't let it deter you. We had an Elk burger and bison burger. Deep fried mushrooms as an appetizer, so yummy! Menu is smaller and simple but good quality food. Service and timely delivery of food. Small amount of seats now in off season and construction, likely be super nice outdoor seating area soon.

This is a nice spot in Gardiner which is a lovely town. The place is nice, you order first, choose drinks and food. The beer menu was good. The food is the essential part, and I thought it was great. I tried the beef burger and it was memorable. The service was friendly and nice. Overall I'd recommend this place. It was busy but we didn't wait very long

We were hungry on our way into Yellowstone and thought this restaurant looked cool from the road. The front window gal was friendly. The tables weren't all that clean outside but we found a spot and split an elk burger and fries. For $22 it really wasn't as good as we'd hoped. I wish we would have driven further before deciding as there were many other options a bit up the road but I'm sure everywhere in town is similar.

Shake

Food was good. Beef was rarer than you can normally get it and I loved it. Cookies and cream shake was blended well. No cookie pieces left. Tasted right. Fresh cut fries were right out of the fryer. Service was friendly and busy. You order at the window and they bring it to your table. Seating is all outdoors. Lights draped overhead. Several locals as well as tourists.

Great burger good service. The HuckelyBerry shake was awesome. The huckleberry lemonade was even better

A decent fast casual eatery with mostly self service, minus food being brought out to you. The CORRAL is a fairly prominently displayed eatery on the side of the main road going through Gardiner, so there's a good chance you'll see it no matter what. While quite a few of the folks in line were raving about it, I can't say I was terribly impressed by my city-boy-palate. It'll certainly serve it's purpose if you just need food, but time permitting I'd recommend looking elsewhere. It's mostly street parking, but the CORRAL has a number of dedicated spots if you turn onto their corner, so drive by first to see if those are filled up. Service is mostly self serve as seating is first-come-first-served, water and utensils are available at a station near the kitchen, and you might need to figure out how to avoid roasting in the sun as covered spots are not too plentiful and interior seating is rather limited. The kitchen areas were also rather unsanitary with all the flies around the food plates; I've seen worse to be honest, but less than ideal to be sure. Water cooler rather finicky to function too. On the bright side, they had a nice outdoors swing and slide set for kids/families to play with, so there's something for younglings to work off their boundless energy on. The food at CORRAL is very much presented in a no frills, 'simple is best' kind of approach. All burgers are the same, just with the patty mixed around. I would nominally see the appeal, but I don't feel like the execution was quite there. Now the fries were solid; lightly seasoned but moderately crispy exterior and a good (if slightly dry) interior. The cookies and cream shake we got was a nice heavy creaminess that came out quite fast and was quite full bodied (they didn't have the huckleberry stuff I wanted but good enough). The main burgers were unfortunately just alright. Very much a simple presentation with minimal compositions to distract from the patty (cheese is an add-on that we both opted for, but it was quite mild and didn't add too much). The elk was done rather dry/lean (also my patty broke apart and they still served it so...). The bison was well done, very lightly seasoned and slightly dry. Not a great burger experience even with the notable gaminesss of the different meat. All in all it was satisfying eat for sating our hunger near Yellowstone, but there are better options in the area to be sure.

The photo doesn't do it justice, but my elk burger was delicious. There was a very light gamey taste, but almost imperceptible. I had to try it, but you'd probably be just as happy with a regular burger. My wife had a salmon filet sandwich that was also very good. And their hand cut fries were delicious. It was a beautiful evening, so the outdoor seating was nice.

I had the jalapeño poppers and Huckleberry milkshake too... I have dumped money in this place the last two days because nothing in this town comes close. Everything is outstanding and the service is great! If you're looking for some great food in Gardiner, MT this is your place. Make sure you get the Huckleberry milkshake! The kids chicken strips are large and tasty as well.

Out- standing. I didn't even want a burger to begin with. I had the Elk burger and hand cut fries. One of the top 5 burgers I've ever had - Juicy and Charred just a bit on the outside. We sat outside on. May evening right at sunset and it was the perfect setting for a perfect burger.

Everything about this place was great!…read more We came in really hungry and had to wait for a little bit to get seated so we were staring at the bakery case and decided to get an everything cream cheese scone. That was the best tasting scone I've ever had! We started off with the garlic bread and it comes out on a pesto. It was toasted just right and has just a splash of balsamic glaze that added the best balance. Whole cloves of roasted garlic on there too! The chili, I can honestly say beat mine, and I make a damn good chili! Just the right amount of heat and the jalapeño cornbread added just the right texture. Bison strip in bourbon garlic sauce was the best meal I have had in a really long time. The vegetable served with it was perfectly cooked and fresh! I highly recommend trying this place you won't be disappointed!

The town itself is quaint, and this felt like a perfect place to grab a bite before heading into the park. We ordered the wild game chili, which was really flavorful and hearty, along with the loaded tots, which were a fun addition to the meal. Inside, the space has great decor with local artwork that adds to the overall feel of the place. It felt welcoming and fit the area well. Overall, a great stop for us and a place I would recommend if you are heading into Yellowstone from this entrance.

They do have a few parking spots there. The stairs from the parking lot leads to their entrance. Fairly large restaurant. You can just take any table available. The menus are at the bar, once you finalize your options, order is taken at the counter. We stopped here for lunch. It was a late launch and this place was deserted, hardly couple of table were occupied. Menu is typical pub options. There's a Bison Cheeseburger on the menu - it's a half pound bison patty on that burger served with fries on the side. Also ordered garden salad with grilled chicken and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Service was great, the staffs were very friendly. They served the food very quickly as well. The bison cheeseburger was really impressive. The sandwich and the salad were good too. It's a $$ place. Super casual counter service, with usual pub faves as well as some local flavors. We went with the: - hog wings - small but meaty, fried halfway to chicharrones with a Korean sweet sauce on the side, kinda salty even plain on its own - bison cheeseburger - solid burger, excellent and generous fries - brisket sandwich - generous portion of meat, kinda dry so I asked for more huckleberry bbq sauce on the side otherwise not very flavorful. Cole slaw was meh but I don't like Cole slaw (they wouldn't swap for anything else). Again excellent fries! Chased all this meaty salty heavy food with a local brew. Think $75 before tax/tip was pretty normal tourist prices - we were stuffed and didn't finish all the fries and buns.

Think bean nachos but with fries instead of tortilla chips. The kids liked the chicken strips and fries quite a lot. I loved the bison burger, and was glad I ordered it cowboy style with bacon and grilled onions. Coffee was lukewarm and flavorless. 6. All the silverware was on the table. More than just for the seating, but enough for the day. Nice way to share germs, and ensure no one has a clean fork. Have I had a worse breakfast? Yes. Dehydrated eggs in boy scouts. But they some how made real eggs (I could tell by the shell) taste like bad powdered eggs. I'm still trying to identify the after taste. Maple maybe? I won't be back there. I'm sure I can find better food elsewhere, there at least two other places near it that serve breakfast, and the market sells protein bars. This is the kind of touristy place that gives a town a bad rap. Overcharging for bad food and hoping to get away with it.
