Her recital is always on the Memorial Weekend…read moreSaturday so no one can go out of town if they are going to attend, or at least it has been for the last 4-5 years now. When asked about this, Miss Melva says "she can't get any other time." However, my daughter goes to Encore Centre for Dance in Frisco and Miss Kim-Lan is able to get a June weekend to do their recital. Once, we attended my stepdaughter's dress rehearsal since that year we weren't going to be able to attend the recital. We were told a time frame to expect her dance, and 2 1/2 hours later, she still hadn't danced, and we ended up having to leave without seeing her dance because I had 2 other children with me, we hadn't eaten, and it was a school night. Terrible time management skills to say the least. I would avoid unless you never have any Memorial Day weekend plans, and enjoy having your time wasted.

I take with him 5 days a week and always enjoy and get so much out of my lessons. Eric is extremely knowledgable, a fantastic teacher and an incredible dancer also. He encourages me to not be afraid to push and challenge myself and allows me room to make mistakes and grow. It's a rewarding experience and journey. All of the Pro dancers/ instructors that teach at Image Ballroom have trained and competed most of their youth and adult life. I attended another well known studio previous to joining Image Ballroom. The difference was night and day. The level of training at Image Ballroom comparatively to the other studio was noticeable from my first lesson. The instruction level, professional dedication and culture is so many levels above other studios. If you are considering starting your ballroom journey, I would strongly consider this studio. There are many students who have gone before you who can testify to the difference of culture, experience and instruction that Image Ballroom offers.

It seems most classes have a virtual option too. Met the owner when I arrived. She was really nice and showed me around. There are several studios and lockers for your belongings. The studio we were in for the class was really chill. Not what I expected. The lighting was dim with blue and yellow tones. I didn't feel as nervous after entering the room and not feeling fully on display. The Nia class was 30 minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will most likely look at the calendar and pick some other classes here and there. I notice they do Pilates, yoga and things like that too. Lots of options!
