As I wrote in a blog post www.alohadenise.com, this hidden gem is a terrific way to experience local and guest talent!! The artistic director, James Prince, is warm and welcoming. He shared stories of this space and showcases excellent talent on the stage. Ample parking, a refreshment assortment, an easy walk from the DART Arapaho station. Great place to gather!!!!

This was my second time here. I've been impressed by the two shows I've seen at this theatre. The first was "Inferno: The Fire at the Cocoanut Grove in 1942" This time around, I came with wife to watch "Postcards from Uncle Al" by Matt Gunther and Gary Moer. It was a solid play with a great cast. The Core Theatre is small and cozy and has been recently updated. It has an intimate setting that is great for kids and adults. The seats are comfortable and there is no bad seat in the theatre. It is well known for its family friendly tales. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home. The bathrooms are clean and there are cozy chairs and tables by the entrance if you want to relax and catch the cast after the shows or just chill and play chess with a friend. The cost of the show is also reasonable. We paid $10 each. The theater also offers a variety of drinks and snacks that you can purchase at the box office. Having been to big broadway productions and very large local productions, the Core Theatre is a Gem to have around the neighborhood. I'll definitely be back for the next show.

Wow! What a great community theater. This is a hidden gem in Richardson. It's a small venue and they produce original plays written by local artists. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our evening. We plan to keep tabs on their upcoming events as we'd love to see other works done here. They are currently taking their production of Inferno on a four week off-broadway run. If you have the chance to see it!

From the moment you step into the studio, you can feel the warm and welcoming energy. The staff works wonderfully with children of all abilities, providing tailored support to ensure that every child can participate, learn, and grow at their own pace. The dance curriculum is both engaging and inclusive. Whether a child is a beginner or has previous dance experience, they're given the tools to succeed and thrive. And what's truly remarkable is how the studio seamlessly integrates lessons of kindness, empathy, and charitable giving into their programs. Kids are encouraged to use their dancing skills to give back to the community, through charity performances, fundraisers, and other giving opportunities. It's not just about learning how to dance -- it's about teaching children the importance of helping others, being kind, and making a positive impact on the world around. As a parent, it's been so heartwarming to see my daughters not only gain confidence in their abilities but also develop a sense of social responsibility and compassion. The environment at this studio feels like a second family, and I can't recommend it highly enough. It's a space where children not only learn how to dance but also grow into kind-hearted, empathetic individuals who understand the importance of community and giving back. We've been with Toby's for four years, and we are planning to stay as long as we can!

I take with him 5 days a week and always enjoy and get so much out of my lessons. Eric is extremely knowledgable, a fantastic teacher and an incredible dancer also. He encourages me to not be afraid to push and challenge myself and allows me room to make mistakes and grow. It's a rewarding experience and journey. All of the Pro dancers/ instructors that teach at Image Ballroom have trained and competed most of their youth and adult life. I attended another well known studio previous to joining Image Ballroom. The difference was night and day. The level of training at Image Ballroom comparatively to the other studio was noticeable from my first lesson. The instruction level, professional dedication and culture is so many levels above other studios. If you are considering starting your ballroom journey, I would strongly consider this studio. There are many students who have gone before you who can testify to the difference of culture, experience and instruction that Image Ballroom offers.
