The staff was incredibly helpful, even leading up to the actual reservation. We had a party of 8 that sat in a nice corner booth. The overall space is a little small, but it's actually perfect for the vibe. It was very busy on a Saturday night, but (not surprisingly) the staff was incredibly on top of things. We ordered some appetizers, which were phenomenal. A side of macaroni and cheese that had some homemade potato chips on top. And every single entrée our party ordered did not disappoint. Literally all 8 dishes had 0 complaints. I think this speaks to the quality overall at the restaurant because that is hard to impress 7 teenage girls and a foodie adult. They were super supportive of holding my daughter's birthday cake. Our waiter even slicing it when it was time. He obviously was a pro because there's no way i would have figured it out due to the size and shape. This was an incredible experience and I'm shocked that we had never heard of it before. The only downside is that there's a single women's restroom and the parking can be limited when the other businesses are operating. Lounge Here is literally a gem!

Free Play is fun and a great bargain in my opinion at 13 dollars a person per entry. You can stay…read moreas long as you'd like and continue playing games, all in free play mode! There are a variety of games- PacMan, a foosball like hockey game, racing games, pinball, frogger, shooting games, old classics like Fix-it-Felix, DDR, shooting hoops, skee ball and more! It's relatively clean and employees come help is something is glitchy or a ball is stuck in the basketball game, for example. They play music at an appropriate volume (this place is way less deafening than cidercade, and less crowded too!). I've never had food/ alcohol here so can't speak to that. It's definitely a great place to go, especially with a buddy, to get competitive and just unwind a little! My only complaint- the arrows in DDR are not very sensitive and tend to stick a little on their machines. It's very hard to adjust the initial difficulty level because the DOWN arrow on both sides of their machine is so not-receptive to touch you have to jump on it with intense force to move it from basic to more difficult. I'm actually pretty good at DDR and kept getting BOOS from arrows I was hitting. So just don't come here specifically for a DDR marathon and you won't be disappointed. Everything else was in good working order!

For about $13, you get unlimited free play all day, making it an excellent value. The arcade is a little smaller than some of the other Free Play locations, but it's packed with classic games from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s, along with a nice selection of pinball machines. There's a full-service bar and food menu. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there aren't many places to set down a drink while playing, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy. The arcade is tucked away in an older shopping center, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Even with the Father's Day crowd, the staff stayed busy while remaining friendly and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it's a fun and affordable place to spend a few hours, whether you're reliving your childhood or introducing someone else to classic arcade games.

They have an outside area in the back where they have a lifted stage for the dj's in the middle and a fenced front where pyrotechnics with all the equipment and props are. They can get a little out of hand sometimes with some having slips or drops but nothing major, everyone is still having a good time. Some nights they have, heating lamps, tables or just an open area.. it depends on the weather. Also some local art, fragrance and clothing vendors, pretty neat. Inside, the bar is chill. Never really crowded. They have tvs playing sports or a movie. Bartenders are quick, drinks are good and decently priced. The inside stage is a good lay out for any band. The sound guy is great and takes care of anyone who performs. However, if the band is inside on stage you can still hear the dj's outside in the back..but the back doors are open and I think have to be.

Fights kept breaking out, "security" would break them up but not kick the guys out, so they kept starting more fights. It was ridiculous, I even saw one guy slam another through the bands merch table. I ended up just hanging out in front of the building for the majority of the show because it was so over packed and crazy inside.

I got the impossible burger with sweet potato fries. Amazing! We sat outside which may have been the wrong move, once the food arrived a slew of flies swarmed us and would not give up! We were barely able to get through half of the meal before deciding to take half of the meal home and getting out of there. The staff was friendly. They love dogs and came to hang out with our dog and give them plenty of water. They even offer treats if you would like. There is plenty of parking for an off period (we came at around 2pm). This is such an awesome place, but next time we will sit inside.

It's the kind of place where you can come as you are, grab some good food and drinks, and just hang out. The patio is definitely the star of the show! It's big, relaxed, and has a great neighborhood vibe. We loved that it's dog-friendly and super family-friendly too. There were lots of kids enjoying the space, which makes it a great place for everyone to gather. Goodfriend has a great beer selection, fun specials, and a menu full of casual favorites. It's perfect for a weekend afternoon, meeting up with friends, or just enjoying the Dallas weather outside. One little thing I noticed: we've been able to split appetizers for payment in the past, but this time we weren't able to. Not a huge deal, but a little more consistency with payment options would make the experience even smoother. He was a nice guy, service was good. Overall, this is a cool neighborhood hangout with a great patio, good food, friendly vibes, and a place you can easily spend a few hours relaxing.
