Snickerdoodle (my fav!) & Oatmeal, walnut, raisin ~ Yumm!
MsMichele P.

$1.75 a cookie or a dozen for $19.99. I tried my two faves Snickerdoodle and Oatmeal, walnut, raisin, both were pretty good but the Snickerdoodle was the best (it was the softest too). Although they had quite the selection, I stuck with my OG's which were both good sized cookies and worth the price. Nice staff, easy access and tasty treats, I'm a fan!

Coconut Spice cookie

In 2020 I ate two of the Coconut Spice cookies at 41weeks pregnant. The next day I went into labor! Today I am eating two once again at 37 weeks in hopes to deliver my 3rd baby! The cookie is delicious, and so far has been 100% effective in making me pop lol! Love The Cookie Shoppe!!

Great cookies, great taste! The owner is a very nice man. A little pricey for cookies but I will pay any amount for chocolate...ha.

Ask the Community - The Cookie Shoppe

Do they offer vegan cookies?

Yes, the menu says Russian Tea Cakes, Mexican Wedding Cakes are made vegan almost daily. Not so daily are the Raspberry Jam Tea Cake and the Apricot Jam Tea Cake. They also have some gluten free cookies.

Chocolate crackle and the beloved frosted sugar cookies are the favorites but there isn't one bad cookie here.

I tried the Mousse brownie - airy, moist, delicious Peach cobbler bar - fresh, creamy and delightful The menu I feel like they are trying too hard to pull the artisanal aspect into the food. Artisanal is not toss a bunch of random things together and attach a hefty price tag. That's for sure. I had the black bean soup. I loved the cilantro pesto. The soup was well seasoned, a little spicy. It was vegetarian but it was still missing something and I couldn't put my finger on it. This grilled cheese... that I ordered with turkey but it was prepared without costs $20. Made with foccia, three cheese (stingy portions might I add) and tomato. For $20 this cheese/ bread combo needs to have an impressive cheese pull. It did not. No pull at all. The bread was herbed and flavorful. Not worth $18-20 without sides and a beverage. The menu was too all over the place for me so I wouldn't eat the food again. But the dessert I would gladly come back for. I'm interested in a beverage as well.

Well, this cake did not disappoint! It was a stunning 3-layer 6" cake, with simple yet elegant decoration. The cream cheese frosting was divine, and best of all -- there were no raisins! He said it was the best he's ever had... so Heirloom helped make me girlfriend of the year! The day I placed my order, I also picked up a Cobb salad to-go, and that was also one of the best Cobbs I've ever had. There was a generous amount of seasoned, roasted chicken and a side of chunky blue cheese dressing. Perhaps my favorite discovery? Salads (maybe all bistro items?) come with a complimentary brownie bite! I learned this on my first visit after they ran after me to my car -- "You forgot your brownie!" I hadn't ordered one, so I was understandably confused... but I gladly accepted, and enjoyed, a bite of happiness in brownie form. I've since returned for another Cobb salad + brownie lunch treat, and I can't wait for my next excuse to order a cake. I only wish their charcuterie boards came in smaller portions for weekend winery excursions. Charcuterie is my favorite food group, but I just haven't had a reason or event to order for 4-6 people. Thank you, Heirloom, for keeping Chico sweet!
