I don't care what anyone says...if you can walk pass Cookie Corner without at least entertaining the thought of buying, or even just looking at, a cookie, you have a much stronger resolve than I do. I don't know if its the sugars or butter or some magical air freshner (only available to Cookie Corner), but every time I walk pass, I feel like I walked into heaven. How can it smell that good and delicious without being in heaven?!? Of course, the scent of buttery goodness draws me in and I end up buying at least one cookie (after all, what can it hurt to eat one...okay, okay, maybe two...cookies? And, I am walking around a gigantic mall, so I'll burn off the calories!). My absolute favorite cookie in the WHOLE world is their oatmeal chocolate chip with walnut cookie. It is slightly crisp on the outside, but nice and chewy on the inside. I love the texture that the oatmeal adds to a cookie (I do not like raisins though, which is why I don't like oatmeal raisin cookies) and you can never go wrong by adding some chocolate chips. The walnuts are just an added bonus. For less than $1.50, you can get one of those little pieces of heaven. Totally worth it. They have a good variety of cookies too - M&M cookies, snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, shortbread, chocolate dipped shortbread, and the list goes on. They do have brownies as well. Mmmmmm!!!! Hands down my favorite cookie store here. Their chocolate chip cookies are warm, soft and chewy just the way I like them. I know others prefer a crunchier harder cookie, but I prefer a softer one. Why can't cookies be one of the required food groups? I could gorge myself on their cookies all day long. If only they could bottle the delicious cookie smell that emanates from the store. I'd spray that on salads. They have an assortment of freshly baked cookies but the chocolate chip walnut variety tastes the best. You can find the cookies in small or large sizes. I loved cookie corner and had stopped going but I forgot why I stopped and went today but was reminded today of why I stopped going and won't return. Products are good but their service is a problem. There are a couple good ones but it's not enough to forget about the bad ones, as in today's case. I went to go pick up a prepackaged treat that was displayed to the left of the registers. I grabbed my item and went to the register and put it down to pay. There was a guy with bleached purple hair standing there so of course I thought he was the cashier. Next thing i know he's sighing and rolling his eyes. Really? At 11 in the morning you're already sighing and rolling your eyes at customers? How are you going to get through the day? I get it. Sometimes customers are annoying and deserve an eye roll or two. I've been in the customer service industry for 10+ years. I know how it is and I do it all the time, but not when customers are in plain sight. However I don't think what I did warranted an eye roll and sigh. He may have been doing something but if he was busy and couldn't do it, I would've waited until someone else was available. I am very patient. Almost to the point of being a pushover. But I do not tolerate rudeness. He could've eye rolled and cursed me out after I left and I wouldn't care. But doing it right in front of me is not right. Maybe I should teach him some pointers on how to do it? I wanted to just leave and go somewhere else as there are plenty of other stores in the mall that sell confections with way better service but went ahead with my purchase. Literally the softest cookies i ever tasted! the chocolate chip cookies are to die for!! so yum!!!! This is a picture of the chocolate walnut cookie I was given. You can see it's half the size of a normal one and where are the chocolate chips?! For almost $2 each I expect more. it's difficult to just walk past this cookie shop. you can smell the intoxicating aroma of fresh baked cookies. who can resist that? everyday i looked forward to getting a whiff of this stuff. while my heart remains with Honolulu Cookie Co. for sentimental reasons, this cookie company has a flavor of its own. fresh baked on site, is one unique factor. while they do offer macadamia nut shortbread cookies, both dipped and naked, they also have these TROPICAL FRUIT BARS, which are unique from the usual cookies offered by the other companies. these are filled with lilikoi, lime and mango. delicious!! flavors of the island, individually wrapped to bring back to family on the mainland, or as snacks during your stay on the island! read more

Let me rephrase. This was my first AND last draft of my Hawaiian itinerary. I haven't been back to Hawaii in awhile. But, whenever someone went and was willing to bring me back something, I would always ask them to bring back some Melting Moments from here (Think Mexican Wedding Cakes, but lighter). I knew one of the first things I wanted to do was get some fresh ones finally. When I went, I actually found another favorite, the White Chocolate Macadamia cookies. Probably one of the better versions of this cookie that I've had (sorry, but Diddy Riese near UCLA still has to be my favorite). Also good here are the chocolate-dipped shortbread cookies (white chocolate-dipped are pretty good). They also have frozen, take-home, ready to bake cookies for some of their flavors, if you live on the island. Like most businesses, they do have mail-order if you are back on the mainland and need a fix. However, please keep in mind that all the varieties I listed above are NOT available online. In looking at their FAQs, though, you might be able to special order if you phone in your order. I haven't tried it yet. read more

A year and a half ago I would've given it 4 stars, but now I can't--I've had Ben's Cookies (a chain of cookie shops in the UK). Ben's are doughy, warm, and undercooked with the perfect ratio of batter to chips. They make the ones at Cookie Corner taste as unsatisfying as a bag of mass-produced Chips Ahoy cookies. P.S. I have learned that I can not go to this mall and leave without getting their seriously addictive shortbread cookies. Turns out its one of the few stores that carry the shortbread cookies. I recently went to the one in Sheraton hotel and they said they don't carry them.. even though it was a bigger store. How dare you? Love the cookies So why the negative review? Don't get me wrong, I grew up eating these cookies and love em like any local. This review is mainly to just say I'm disappointed in the service I received today. The associate was short and rude with me when I was trying to pay (via check card). She didn't take the time to explain (like another associate there) the banks won't take a check card via credit (only as debit). She was just rude. If I didn't love my kids so much I would've straight up walked away and not spend $8 on a cup of cookies. That's right $8. Serves me right. I should just bake my own next time. If you are a soft doughy cookie person, The Cookie Corner is the place to go! If you like the crispier cookies, Honolulu Cookie Co might be a better choice. Cookie corner sells a variety of cookies from oatmeal raisin, choco chip, snickerdoodle, white choco/mac, and double chocolate. I have tried Cookie Corners snickerdoodles and their white choco/mac. I was a little bit of a snickerdoodle addict for some time, they were so yummy. Soft, buttery, with a good kick of cinnamon in it. I didn't really care for the white choco mac, the one I got was kinda hard :-( I also got the chance to try some of their fruit bars and wowzers, if they weren't only sold by the bag I might buy some. Flaky bottoms with either lemon, key lime, or lilikoi filling. If you like lemon bars or shortbread type desserts, I definitely recommend trying these. Cookies are priced based on their weight. They are speedy and they do not mind if you change your order three or four like I did one or two times. I generally don't care for chain businesses, but I can't help myself with Cookie Corner. I want to not like them, but I gave them 5 stars! I've only tried the Ala Moana and Kahala Mall locations and both have the same quality. My favorites: -chocolate chip, classic. This type of cookie is cake-like, soft, with ooey gooey morsels of melting chocolate chips. -snickerdoodles. Soft, yummy. -oatmeal raisin, I hate it that theirs are better than mine. So good. It's a bit pricey, 2 cookies can set you back a little less than $5, but it's worth it! read more

(All asians looks the same to me xp, so I'm not sure) She helped me a couple of times, but she spaced out a lot and seemed kind of lost when I told her she shorten my change. There was a guy who helped her so I'm just going to assume she IS new, he had brown blondeish hair. He was very friendly, and he also had a girly voice, I didn't expect that at all hahaha. Other than that, there are a lot of people working in such a small store. I think it would help if the store was bigger. It looks so hot. Store looks: Looks clean and organize, but like I've mention above, it's really small and it looks crowded. I think I came by once when there were a bunch of boxes piled on each other. It was taller than most of the workers. It made the store look a bit smaller and dangerous-Most of the boxes were placed close to the oven. I saw a girl trying to take out some cookies trays from the oven. I was almost sure she was going to burn herself. I don't think she did though. They really need to be careful or extend their store. There used to be a cookie place just LIKE this , NO it's not Mrs. Fields, (her cookies are not as good btw) It was called The San Francisco Cookie Co. THAT was my haven back home.. Very smart idea there, and a nice way to differentiate from the Honolulu Cookie Co. which focuses much more on packaging (albeit gorgeous packaging). I wonder if they offer dairy alternative milk like soy or almond, maybe for an additional charge? If they don't, they should consider it! Picked up a small aloha print patterned tin filled with chocolate dipped shortbread as a souvenir/gift. The cookies were buttery, tasty, larger and thicker than Honolulu's, but overall not super incredible. Maybe the fresh ones taste better than the sealed ones? I'll have to test this next time. Came here on a Sunday night. They close at 7pm like the rest of the stores. I was on my way back to my car when i smelled the cookies!!! It was alreaxy 7min past 9pm but they were still helping customers. So i went and got a shortbread dipped in chocolate and choco chip walnut. Yum yum yum!! Baked goods are sold by weight. (I would know, i used to work at cookie corner haah but dif location). Keep in mind the dipped ones are more $. Bigger cookies are softer and mini cookies in cup are made to be crunchy (but still delish). Counter help was friendly despite the fact she shouldve been closing and what not so that was awesome! I felt bad for bothering them after closing but i couldnt resist the smell!! Im weak. Haha she asked if i wanted napkins added to the bag of cookies, i said yes but she forgot to add them :( However as the worker was ringing us up, a light bulb from one of the fixtures hanging above us fell out and shattered on the ground! Another customer was right beneath it but jumped and moved in time! No one was hurt. But all the workers apologized and cleaned up the mess immediately!
