There is something special about The Concourse Project that is transformative and a blank slate to experience any music journey that is being held at the venue. Parking is probably the only sore spot for the space but I feel like if that is the only thing to harp on then it isn't that bad of a situation to worry about. What makes this venue not only badass in the city but one of the top venues for EDM is how easy they transform the space based on the artist's needs. I've been here when they've made it a 360 bar, full production setup with the artist at the back, and a B2B setup. The visuals and audio here honestly compete against venues I've been to in Ibiza, Miami, and Vegas. As someone who loves to have a late night bite after a few drinks, I am so thankful that The Concourse Project has a food truck out back for you to get your grub on. The last show I went to about a week or so ago (NGHTMRE) it was a golden chance to enjoy a plate of quesabirria tacos. Holy crap where they everything and more. They were so delicious and you can decompress and have a break outside. Whether you live in Austin or are visiting, if you have the chance to check out a show here then you absolutely have to!!

Saw Deorro a couple weeks ago here and it was such a cool experience!! The venue offers a lot of space inside and even has an outdoor patio with some food trucks. The lighting and screens on the roof were incredible and added to the ambiance. The staff and bartenders there were also friendly. Keep in mind that they only have limited free parking spaces on site but also offer a lot next to the buildings where they do charge you $20-$22 dollars. Also, I don't know if it was just the sound system here or it's a universal experience but if you stand right in-front of the DJ stage it's really hard to hear what they sing/or what their songs say since it's like 90% bass. When my bf and I moved towards the middle and back of the crowd we ended up having more fun since the sound quality was better there. Something else to note is that if you plan on seeing the artist or performer you bought tickets for they don't tell you there's 2-3 other smaller DJs performing first. We expected that Deorro would play around 10:30- 11pm since doors opened at 9pm but he didn't end up playing until about midnight. We were patient but we wish we could have known. However, we had a great time overall! :)

Not being a big EDM fan I'd never visited this place, but since it's in my neighborhood I was curious and decided to catch a show. It was great in all aspects - from the sound to the lighting to the friendly and professional staff. They host world-class EDM acts - for example, Tiesto played there in May 2025. Definitely a place for night owls - when I visited, the headliner didn't take the stage until midnight.

One of the few places I feel at home. I come here every few months either with a VIP or regular ticket. It is safe, clean, great drinks (pricey though), and always nicely decorated. Each time I came, the layouts were always different which I like. I appreciate the security staff and body scanning to make sure nothing dangerous is being brought in. Can't wait for more shows this year!

Wow. Let's just say I've visited the concourse twice this year and am ready to return in 2025. Already bought my seismic 2025 tickets! I went to Concourse earlier this year for Sara Landry all nighter, then decided to take on a three day festival in November. What an incredible venue! This festival is top notch. The venue is laid out really well and is nicely spaced. I love the upstairs area where you can overlook, amazing lights and space. Soundsystem was on point. Got to see so many hard techno greats, and old-school greats.

We had a really great time enjoying desi beats by Indo warehouse at the concourse project. As someone who is mildly claustrophobic, I appreciated the spacious venue with some very cool light effects and good acoustics. The AC was on full blast even though it was a huge hall so we didn't get too sweaty. There are a few couches in the adjoining lounge where you can chill and check out local vendors. They also have a nice patio area with food trucks for late night snacks. There are a few different mixed drinks at the bar and ciders or beer in can, no cocktails.

Now that live music events are a legitimate "thing" again, and given that I have been to several electronic music shows and festivals this year, I feel compelled to review this amazing venue. In the course of the world reopening, The Concourse Project has become one of Texas' premier dance and electronic music spots, and that is with good reason. Before I go into any details, I should be transparent that I am coming off the heels of a multi-day electronic music festival ("Seismic") held here, and it will be hard for me to rate and review this place without some degree of bias slipping through. That said, here are a few reasons why I believe this place is so ideal. -Location: First, the obvious, it's in Austin. But there is more to it than that. If you are like me, and cut your teeth with full immersion into electronic music culture in the early and mid 2000's, you would know the Austin area is where it has always been at in Texas. Another positive on the location is its proximity to both downtown, and the airport. For the touring DJ, this has to be a big bonus as they are usually in-and-out of cities fairly quickly. -Venue: It's basically a big ass decked out warehouse. That's cool for a few reasons: 1) It makes it ideal for large crowds; 2) It is reminiscent of the "warehouse party" scene that has been so prevalent throughout dance music culture. Plus, the place is just super cool! -Lineups: Check out their website and see some of the upcoming headliners. Big names, but quality local and international artists and DJs. A lot of these folks are not playing regularly at other big cities like Houston, or Dallas, but they are coming here. Lastly, I have to say they appear to be managing the place fairly well. It appears to be well-run, and that becomes more obvious when you interact with the staff; they are actually pretty friendly, which is refreshing compared to what one might be used to experiencing at other clubs and venues. I regularly review their website to see who they have coming here next. Looking forward to visiting again to see some of my favorite electronic music acts and making new epic memories!

Living in a neighborhood close to this place sucks. No one wants to hear the damn bass so loud it rocks the houses. Very selfish and rude.

Even under ideal conditions, COTA is a huge place and getting from the parking lot to the show is a genuine hassle. There were thunderstorms and lightning flashes in the early part of the evening, which delayed the show for two hours, and Lene Lovich's set ended up being cut -- I know nobody can control the weather, but the staff on the ground wasn't helpful at all with providing updates on the show's status. Would it be canceled? Should we wait? We rode a tram bus from the parking lot to just outside the venue, and waited and waited for the gates to open. Nobody was telling the crowd anything. It was chaos. At one point we were herded down a hill into a parking garage to escape the rain (it was a garage, but nobody there was rockin', though cars filled with people bailing on the show and leaving were constantly coming through). I resorted to the B-52's Instagram account to get updates on the situation. Finally, at some point after 8 p.m. the gates opened, we entered the venue, wiped down our seats, and waited. After the show, we walked to the tram station (it was close to midnight by then) and waited, and waited for a tram to take us back to Lot F. There was some sort of "issue." People had been waiting up to 40 minutes for a tram. Nobody from the staff came over to tell us anything. We finally gave up and hoofed it over half a mile to our car. The COTA staff appear to be extremely disorganized and have very little idea how to keep a crowd of some 5,000 people informed about what's going on. They seem more interested in extracting money from people's wallets (besides the extortionate ticket prices, it's the land of $14 beers, $9 ice cream sandwiches, $45 T-shirts, etc. -- COTA makes airport shops seem like a bargain) than taking care of their customers. They don't seem to care about their patrons' welfare at all. I will not be returning to this venue under any circumstances.

Each band gave a stellar performance. I was blown away! Now for the next part of my review. The part where I talk about the venue itself. Let me tell you I was so worried because I read so many horror stories online. The gates were to open at three but got delayed about thirty minutes because of rain. My pet peeve is that it wasn't updated on the website. Minor issue. We took an Uber there and back. Upon arrival, our driver was confused (even though there were cones and guides) but we made it through without a hitch. We arrived at 2:20 which would have been perfect timing if not for the rain. We managed to find a dry spot to sit and chat with other folks. Once the gates opened we got through smoothly and quickly. Getting there when we did was actually perfect timing because as we went through the gates we could see the entry line stretching for at least 1/4 mile. We were able to get food and drinks straight away because we were one of the first people in. Bathroom, no lines. Fast forward a couple of hours and bathroom lines, food lines, and drink lines were stretched for what seemed an eternity. It was a big show, sold out. Lots and lots of people, lines are going to happen. I would just suggest getting food and drinks immediately to avoid the crazy lines or maybe throw some snack bars in your bag. All in all we had a good experience.
