After heading over and trying a few items really regretted not going g earlier. Ordered the coconut Sunday with coconut and mango ice cream. Best coconut ice cream! It is served w/3 scoops plus coconut meat in a coconut shell. 5/5. We also ordered the sticky rice w/mango sundae w/mango ice cream. 5/5 We ordered to take home the coconut jelly and the bar bin for home. Enjoyment. Again both were great. Cute interior design with a few seats and a couple outside. Parking may be limited at busy times- we did luckily find one next to the building but didn't see any others. Staff was super friendly, answered questions for items we weren't sure about and advised how to heat up our take home item.

Super good desserts…read more Cleanliness and consistency is the issue First few times I've had the original I had so much coconut shavings and mango and coconut milk and when I ordered side of rice it was a good amount Today it was small amount of rice with a few drops of coconut milk and 3 piece of coconut and 4 pieces of mango it's not like my first 2 times And my ice cream part didn't even have coconut milk If you go here it will randomly be good. Cleanliness especially bathroom looks really dirty and unorganized. As busy as this place, they need to clean up and add more quality place to hang out in. Still very good desserts, like I said the issue now is consistency and cleanliness Thank you guys

A roaster with a cafe storefront housing plenty of seating and complimentary WiFi for those looking…read morefor a stop to caffeinate, be productive, or socialize. Bird Rock Coffee, a San Diego native named for the little town in La Jolla known for its rock formations along the coast inhabiting various seabirds, has expanded quite a bit all across the county and this location is just as unique as the others I've visited. Attached to the cafe, you'll get a glimpse into their roasting operations. What started as a micro-roaster, this chain has garnered a following near and far for their single origins, blends, and specialty drinks. As you arrive to this location, you'll find that there's limited parking relative to the size of this building. As you step foot into the shop, you'll understand why - most of their footprint is occupied by their roasting equipment but the dining space is still relatively large compared to more niche coffee shops. Situated with small tables as well as bench tops, during my weekend excursion, there was never a time that it was completely packed so you're bound to find a spot to camp. Outlets are also available from certain spots. Ordering is simple which can be done at the register or online. The menu is quite extensive with all things coffee but consider checking their online menus as I found items like their double cappuccino that wasn't advertised on their physical menus. If you do order through their mobile app, you'll automatically get reward points toward free drinks or food. Speaking of special offers, they also offer birthday goodies so when it's that time of the year, you're in for a treat! I did end up getting the double cappuccino and it was delicious and came out hot with just enough foam to add volume to each sip. If I weren't traveling with so much stuff, I would have considered getting their bags of beans to brew at home. Fortunately, they do offer a subscription and delivery through their website so for those like me looking for a taste from afar, you're in luck! From dark to light roasts, you'll have quite a few options with the notes you desire. The staff were friendly and helpful despite constantly at full capacity. Drinks kept churning out with the same consistent quality and hospitality. Overall, Bird Rock is a local roaster you'll want to check out as their growing operations is a clear result of their consistent product quality, accessibility through its many locations and ordering methods, and excellent service. This location in particular is just blocks away from the huge playground and park next to mission bay, albeit you're better off driving. I was much too full to grab food this around but it may be worth a try to go with the coffee next time. Whether you're a local or just visiting, consider making a trip out and roost on this rock for a while!

I strolled over to Coffee Culture around 7:15am and found the storefront inside the Urban food hall. It wasn't busy, so there virtually was no wait. I probably was in and out with my food and drink in 5 minutes. Coffee Culture had a great selection of coffee and matcha drinks. I ordered a maple cream cold brew that gives Starbucks a run for its money. They did offer hot food items, and I got a turkey sausage, egg, and provolone cheese sandwich. Appreciated that turkey sausage was an option as the other 2 sandwich offerings have ham, which I do not eat. Their donuts display looked amazing too. I believe they are supplied by a local baker called Barrio Donas. I didn't have a sweet tooth that morning, but I wouldn't hesitate to get one or a few if I did!

Definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. The coffee was smooth and the horchata flavor was just right. I was able to find parking pretty easily during the week, but I can imagine it gets busy on the weekends. Overall, such a fun spot with a great atmosphere. We definitely didn't finish the two bagels between our family of four, which honestly surprised me. There is parking, which is a huge plus. I'd definitely come back, just maybe not with two toddlers if there's another 45 min wait lol.
