Found this place on Yelp and it had pretty good reviews and I was honestly quite disappointed. The area that it was in was kinda ghetto to say the least. The staff was nice but I was disappointed with the food and drink options. My coffee was watered down and less flavor than expected. I got a Carmel pecan cinnamon roll and it was okay but I wouldn't get again. My friend got a coffee that also wasn't the best and a veggie bagel that was very skimpy and not worth it. I would vote no go on this place. Sorry Katz Coffee. read more

I was not expecting such a large selection of food - This is the BEST bagel sandwich I've ever had, which is saying a lot because I have gotten several around San Diego. Great pricing for how large the bagel & coffees are. Family owned which is always amazing. Service 10/10, their recommendations and speed were on point for a small shop. Lots of regulars which is a good sign. A couple tables and a couple benches for seating. read more

Cutesy little coffee stand by my timeshare. We were in a rush one morning, and needed something quick. My O My was the perfect choice for us. We had black drip coffee, which was fresh & tasty (forgot to ask what level of roast it was). My husband loved his original bagel breakfast sandwich, which was rare since he is immensely judgmental and/or critical with food. I loved my Avocado toast, and was pleasantly surprised that it came with two over-medium eggs! The young female cashier/server was very pleasant & efficient too! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this cafe - from the large selection of freshly made food, to the excellent pricing, to the wonderful service from this family. I'm here every 6 weeks and always get 2 made-to-order sandwiches or bagel sandwiches...it's a treat to take one home for the next day. The serving size for each item is very generous, and when I'm rushing for an appointment - they even come to me and drop off my order. If you haven't stopped here - you will be pleasantly surprised. I'm writing this review to honestly help the place improve unfortunately the coffee is not very good, the drip cofeee was very light in color, the water to coffee ratio was very off. Same with the lattes, more milk than coffee, I still have it a few stars because the person working seemed very nice. This place seemed good, just needs a lot of adjustments to the coffee read more

This is a great little coffee kiosk. Even though it was not on the menu, the young ladies working here made me the cortado I wanted. They use a local coffee roaster called "Torque Coffee." The cortado was terrific. It had a great robust coffee flavor and had a great smoothness from beginning to end. I liked it very much. The kiosk offers a variety of espresso based beverages, teas, and baked goods, not to mention a breakfast sandwich made with bagels for $6 and acai bowls for $7. My cortado was only $4. They offer a few tables outside in front of the kiosk. The service was super friendly and welcoming. read more

I was looking for a banana latte here in San Diego so I decided to swing by and tried their lizard latte which is banana with chocolate and it did not disappoint!! Drove all the way over here from South Bay, waited 10 min in line and as i approach the front the lady behind the counter says "you might not want to order right now, it's going to be 20minutes". Terrible customer service. I understand being short staffed but you don't know where people are driving from to support your business, the last thing you want to do is discourage them from ordering! Very disappointed. I never got to order. She made sure not to even take my order. Do better. read more

This time we were celebrating our anniversary and were able to plan ahead and make a reservation. The ambience is upscale darker and very clean. The lady at the podium was very friendly and checked us in. Once checked in, we were suggested to wait at the bar which we pleasantly did. We didn't have to wait long before we got sat. I will say that their cocktails are amazing and we decided to go with cocktails for the night. Every single cocktail we tried, we loved. They also have a wide variety of brands on different liquors. My boyfriend likes bread, so we decided to order their bread and I love steak tartar so we ordered that as appetisers. We like to start with a salad so we decided to share a Caesar salad specially after we saw them preparing it to the table next to us. The Caesar salad is definitely a must and it was our favourite. I had never had a Caesar salad that actually used anchovies and I loved it. The steak tartar was good, but not the best I've had. I did like that it included the yolk on the top and the chips were good and it had a good flavour but it just seemed a little too salty for me. We had a ribeye steak to share that was perfectly cooked medium rare and the butter was delicious for the sides. We had the truffle fries and we had the onions on red wine. The onions were my favourite part of the sides. I could not leave without the dessert and we decided to go with a banana foster. They do a table side show that was amazing and it was a delicious dessert. Service throughout the night was great. Overall, I will say that I will be back for Drinks and if we decide to have a meal here, I would definitely get the Caesar salad the onion on red wine side and the banana foster. The steak was good, just not great I would be willing to try a different cut or protein. For the pricetag, I would've expected everything to be great, which is why four.

Serving up some delicious ceremonial matcha and coffee drinks (haven't had the coffee yet). So far I've had their Matcha Banana (Banana 53), Double Matcha (Matcha X2), Pistachio 54 (with Matcha). I get it 50% sweet (lifted) for all of my drinks. Just the right amount of sweetness for me. The drink is dark in matcha with a richness in earthiness. The Banana 53 had a luxurious banana foam with toffee bits. Nice balance of earthy, creamy, touch of sweetness, and different textures in the drink. For the double matcha the matcha foam is super fluffy and creamy. Matcha on matcha was what I needed to fuel my soul. The pistachio was a dream. Rich, nutty, velvety, and creamy. I keep saying I will try their coffee next time but I am a sucker for matcha that's for sure.

The latte was more matcha. I didn't really taste any tiramisu in my drink, but the matcha was good. It definitely is on the low sweet. The mimosa was good as well. At first, wasn't sure if the flavor would pair well as a mimosa, but it was good! The matcha and yuzu blend well. Someone else had a yuzu mimosa, but it too sour for my taste. The yuzu with the matcha definitely helps reduce the citrus sour taste. Service was friendly and fast. Since it was a busy Sunday, they already explained in advance that food might take longer to come out, but it didn't feel very long. When I went, we had a live musician playing. Personally for me, it was a bit loud, so it was hard to hear everyone at my table. But, Im sure other people appreciated and enjoyed the live music. I just prefer quieter environments, and that's my personal taste. I would be willing to come back for a special occasion again.

Stepping into the Sola Salon for the first time, I immediately noticed a charming coffee cart nestled nearby. As I left my hairdresser's new location around 11:30 AM on a Saturday morning, I decided to treat myself. I was helped quickly, ordering an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. The woman behind the counter was incredibly kind and welcoming, asking my preference for sweetness. I opted for a medium balance, neither too sweet nor too bitter. In just a few minutes, my latte was ready, and she even offered to remake it if it wasn't to my taste. The coffee was delightful, and the exceptional service left a lasting impression. i had ordered an iced vanilla latte from here and the coffee was amazing it wasn't too sweet and the espresso these use seems to be very fresh. They also have tons of yummy pastries and a few breakfast options such as a sausage egg and cheese muffin and even oatmeal. The girls working there were very bright and sweet.
