You self entitled people must remember that these guys are NOT paid fairly for what they do, minimum wage is what they are paid. They are asked to do tasks that are extremely ridiculous, tedious and not worth the pay. You're being charged a max of what? $300 for your WHOLE house to be cleaned?? Yea back up Karen. NEVER USE THE CLEANING AUTHORITY!!! We've just terminated our service with them. They have come to our home EVERY 2 WEEKS for 8 years! Then yesterday after cleaning our home in about an hour they called Child Protective Services falsely claiming that our home is so riddled with animal filth that it reeked so badly you could smell it from outside the home that CPS needed to come today on an emergency basis to determine if they needed to take my 2 girls away. The investigator basically called it a BS claim saying with a tone of disbelief "I see no support of what is being claimed and no reason for me to remove the children from your home today". Very professional man, but I work in mental health, and know the subtext of our professional speak. So now I have this investigation permanently on my background record. I work with severely vulnerable populations and do probono care for the homeless through a charity. Now when they, insurance companies, my licensing board, and my malpractice do their deep background check on me they will see a claim of catastrophic neglect of my children on my record. This can severely impact me financially and impair my financial future. I also am on the board of directors for two professional associations in my profession. This could impact that. I am politically active and will impact my political aspirations. This has damaged my future in so many ways and it was COMPLETELY false! I am so livid with this company. My neighbor who feeds my cats and has been in my home on multiple occasions is a lawyer and is getting me the information for a friend of his who works in this area of personal & professional injury so you will be hearing from him. As you can see, my home has no FILTH and my children are in NO HARM or NEGLECT!!!! read more

Courtney and Madison are AMAZING!! They have an incredible attention to detail, move quickly, and just a joy to have in the house. I look forward to seeing them every other week. read more

I hire this company expecting a professional clean and was very disappointed! Every time they came out I had to call them to return and finish the job, after the 3rd cleaning I had to fire them. The pictures On their website show uniformed employees showing up to clean but what comes are frumpy dressed sweat pants wearing incompetent people who have no attention to detail. The quality of work was not professiona. I would not use this company nor recommend them. read more

The girls were very nice but the cleaning that the company directs them to do is subpar. I used them once and immediately sent an email to the manager letting them know that I'll no longer be needing their service. I should have listened to my neighbor who also had a bad experience with this company. read more

We are using this cleaning service since month now, their staff is very good, attentive to details, all for what you want to see. The "boss" is very good in the customer interaction, they give you a cleaning roster/rotation, in which a deep clean of one section of the house, mill be followed by a clean, so since this all rotates, keeps the price decent and the house continuously clean. We pay for a 3 bedroom house and 1,800 soft $79 a week, which isn't bad at all. We used to have a different cleaning service and they charge twice as much for less quality. read more

Unfortunately one of their employees stole my engagement ring and wedding ring. And I know I'm not the only one who had items stolen from them. Do not trust these people in your home. read more

We have been using the cleaning Authority for a good 6 months, there cleaning was okay but could do a better job myself but it was a help as we are very busy. They continued to get worse with a shortage of help as there excuse, the only constant was they vacuumed well. This complaint was addressed 3 times with no cemented success. There business models is to detail a certain area of the house while a light dust over of the rest of your home, when that couldn't even be completed to any satisfaction we finally had to call it quits. There is no professionalism or cleaning knowledge coming thru. Not sure if its the lack of expectation from the employer but really needs to be addressed! I wouldn't waste your money or time on this company. The one rating is only because I had to choose something. It would be a negative otherwise. read more

I really enjoyed my business relationship with the previous owner Paul Lord. It is no longer owned by him, he sold late last year. Now the new owner (who per his employee Angeleah) will not speak to me (he doesn't speak to customers) will not return my key and is telling me through his employee I terminated service. I did not terminate service and have been calling for months trying to get a clean, my key returned or any communication at all. The number now always routes to the main call center who try to be helpful but can not reach this new owner. Initially I was told if I wanted to start back with cleaning it would be double what I was paying before. Then I was told I terminated service. Then I was told my key was destroyed. I would not trust this new owner and now will be paying to have my house re-keyed since they will not return my key, my calls or now even my emails. No way to do business and I would NOT suggest doing business with this new owner who I can not even discuss the issue with or even know their name. Very poor customer service and unprofessional to purchase a company and then not inform your existing clients. Does anyone know where Paul and Tracey went? I was a customer for years With this type of customer service I imagine they will be closing soon. read more

I second what the reviewer said about the Cleaning Authority being decent until Paul and Tracey sold the franchise. I used them from about 2018 to January 2022. Prior to COVID most of the teams were good, there were a few bad ones but if there were problems Paul or Tracey dealt with them and the communication was excellent. They sold some time in the fall of 2021 but nobody was informed about it. I had had a long time team that I was satisfied with and for some unknown reason CA started sending random other teams. I had made it clear I wanted to stick with Becky and Teresa but nobody ever came forward with an explanation as to why I was getting other teams. Every clean got worse until in January one of the girls literally put a hole in my bathroom wall. I spent hours of time I did not have in trying to find a contractor to fix it and in the end managed to do so only by adding in enough other jobs that the guy felt it was worth his time to come out. Otherwise, in the current conditions I could have had a hole in my bathroom wall for months. So that little incident cost me $700 or so in jobs that I wasn't planning to do right away and had not budgeted for. On top of that, the new owner never contacted me, although I requested it several times. Angeleah in the office was nice the day it happened, and agreed that I shouldn't be charged for the clean until the matter was resolved. The very next day my credit card was charged and when I called back she copped an attitude with me. I blame the new owner. She was probably told to run the card. I actually feel quite sorry for her, having a job like that. I will say that they did the right thing in the end, but probably it was because I was making a nuisance with the corporate headquarters. They did reimburse me for the fixing of the hole, and they did agree not to charge me for that particular clean. Still, I was out a lot of time and extra money, and I felt that it was not handled professionally or with any concern as to whether I would continue to be a customer. Needless to say, I dropped their service. If I can't trust them to stand up from the floor without using my toilet paper holder as a grab bar (That is how the damage occurred), then I don't want them in my house. Add to that, the same day the incident occurred, none of the team was wearing masks. I was told that the policy was for the teams to be masked, but that apparently the team lead felt that being vaccinated was good enough. They did not act at all concerned by this. read more

I would give them a zero if I could. They send an email the day before as a reminder I have an appt the next day but then never show up. I call late afternoon and they inform me the crew is sick or their car broke or they quit. They never bothered to call and let me know As I sat all day waiting. There is always an excuse. Every week is a new crew and I have to go over what needs to be done. They usually do a crappy job. Last week the shower was left with pink mold and hair. I moved the shampoo bottles and there was a soap ring. In the kitchen after they mop all the corners still have dust and crumbs. They dust with a feather duster that only spreads the dust around. You can see the dusty streaks where they miss spots And they never move anything. I've complained to management but Nothing changes. This company is unreliable and their cleaning is sorely lacking. Do not waste your money. read more

Clean today was great. Did not leave their names on the sheet of paper they left after completion however!

I have been a customer for over a decade. The service has deteriorated in the past several years predating COVID-19. My most recent clean was half executed at best. Management has no solution to offer nor have they agreed to any discounts for the poor reliability and quality. I will find a new cleaning service. read more

After just one clean we decided this company was not for us. We were charged $200 for our home to be vacuumed and our kitchen appliances polished. The cleaners did not clean over half of the items that we were told they would be taking care of and spent half of the time we were quoted that they would be cleaning our home. Huge waste of money! read more

I was so excited for them to show up and then the excitement quickly went down the drain (no pun intended) the owner told me he would be stopping by during the clean to make sure everything was going well.. never showed.. didn't follow up.. they did the BARE minimum. missed half the cabinets, finger prints all over the microwave and fridge.. didn't wipe the counters or back splash and I found HAIRS left on my toilet they were supposed to "thoroughly clean" when I called to cancel the owner chuckled and said okay.. I paid $135 for a job my 11 year old could have done better. read more

I've used the cleaning authority for about 10 years and rarely got disappointed. The vast majority of cleans are great-when they are not up to usual I let them know. I especially love it when I get the same crew so I can make sure they get to the things I really care about. But I also travel a lot and the company is super accommodating to schedule cleans around my schedule. Highly recommend this service. read more

I love these guys, I've been using them for years! I would give 5 stars, but they recently raised prices due to the "minimum wage" increase here in the great state of Washington. All of my costs are going up, and now so is my cleaning price.....that shouldn't be my fault! But anyway, these ladies clean my whole house in about 2 hours and charge 100 bucks for a team of two, but sometimes they bring another lady, I think to train or something. But even so, they still are very good to me and work with my two year old while he tries to "help" them...such great patience on their part, that's why or at least another reason why I love them. Bottom line is, I love the work they do and have never been satisfied in the past. The cleaning companies always seem to come in strong at first and then get lazy. With their routine inspection of my house they seem to stay consistent compared to others I have had in the past. read more

If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. This was the absolute worst company to work with. I had 2 cleanings, the second was so bad. The girls were supposed to be here 2 hours and rushed out in less than 1 1/2 hours. The master shower wasn't cleaned, the living room was supposed to get a thorough clean but fingerprints were still left on the windows and cabinets. Both times the floors were barely mopped and food was still stuck to the floors. When I called to complain to the owner, Paul, instead of asking how he could make things right he simply said he was terminating me from his schedule because I was a problem client and hung up. He's a total jerk and does not want to work with customers at all. Do not recommend this business read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would! Terrible customer service. I was overcharged for "cleaning" my entire house, when they partially cleaned one bedroom and our kitchen while charging me for the entire house. When I called and asked to speak with the owner, he never returned my call...but did email back to tell me that he would not adjust the price for the areas they were not cleaning and that my prices were going to go up anyway. TERRIBLE BUSINESS!! They do not stick to their promised rotation schedule either. Don't waste your time or money! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We recently moved to the area and were looking for a cleaning service. We found this one from a flyer in the mail. It seemed they did it all at a reasonable price, but it was too good to be true. We had issues with them from the start. They didn't do the things listed on the paper they left or they would clean something half way. They had to come back to our house on multiple occasions to re-clean and I had to request a new cleaning crew 3 times. I found out later that they have a very high turn over rate. When people don't stay that doesn't yield good work. We stopped using them for good because their crew dropped a lamp breaking the lamp shade and denting the table. In addition, they created a big dent in my brand new console table and caused scratch marks on our wood banister from consistently leaning their equipment against it. When I called the managers to tell them they immediately went on the defensive and said that the ladies would have said something if they had done anything. When they called back they said that one of the girls said she dropped the lamp, but that she checked it and it was fine. My husband is not always very observant and he even noticed the lamp was all messed up. The inside was completely cracked in multiple places and the table was clearly damaged. The managers came out to take pictures to give to the owner. When the owner saw it he said they would only pay for the new lamp shade and to get the table fixed. I asked for a free clean and for them to fix all the things they damaged. I felt that was reasonable all things considered. They said there is no way they dented my new console table or caused any damage to the banister. When I asked how they were going to pay for the stuff to get fixed her response was she didn't know and she would have to talk to the owner again. I couldn't believe what terrible customer service they had and what a terrible service they provide. I told the manager we wouldn't be doing business any longer of they weren't going to fix what they had damaged. I also told them I would be writing a review on my experience and contacting the Better Business Bureau. The manager hung up on me and when I called back and left a message I never received a call back. I called twice and the second time I requested the owner call me back. They still owe me for my stuff. At this point I may be filing a suit against them. read more

I have been using the Cleaning authority for over a year now and they have been a godsend! I am a busy working mom and keeping my home in order is a priority for me. Super disappointed in this service. We have them clean twice and both times they completely missed wiping the kitchen counters, and didn't even touch the sink. The hood was still dirty and the cabinets were not wiped down. The second kitchen clean, the kitchen table was not even touched and still had spaghetti sauce on it from the night before. Supposedly they "deep cleaned" my master bath...no way. Shower was not cleaned, sinks still had algae stains at the drain which were easily wiped away with a washcloth. The second time they did not even vacuum and my son said the cleaners used foul language the entire time and talked about their drunken escapades the night before. Top this off with them "losing" my house key... avoid this company. read more

I have been worried about how I was going to have everything ready for the holidays along with working and Christmas shopping how was I going to find time to get the house cleaned. Then I called The Cleaning Authority to see if they could fit me into the schedule for an extra cleaning, they are great and came out and cleaned the home in a very professional manner. I am so pleased and refer them to all my friends and family. If you want a reliable cleaning company you should give them a call. I read the other reviews and I must say I am surprised we have never had any issues, if I mention that something was missed they fix it for me right away. I usually have the same couple of young ladies and they are both very friendly and make my house shine when they are finished cleaning. Thank you Cleaning Authority. read more

Waste of money. This company has a good business plan but they do not see it through. I kept getting flyers in my mail so I finally decided to give them a try. My home is already clean, but we wanted a deep clean, things that you don't want to do yourself. They came for the initial cleaning A and the house looked no different when I came home. I could tell the vacuumed, that was it. Not worth $140. So I emailed and explained this was not exactly what I was promised with a deep clean. Tracy replies saying the things I wanted done would be addressed in cleaning B.. are you kidding me. That sounds like a complete Ponzi scheme. She offered to have cleaners come out and fix what wasn't touched so I agreed. The gals came the next day and stayed for 15 minutes and left. Yea, that helped. Cue rolling eye emoji. All things considered if you want a bare minimum clean hire them! If you want your home to actually be clean look elsewhere. read more

When the owner, Paul, came out and did the initial walk-thru I discussed 2 very specific things I wanted done. 1) sweeping under the beds 2) window/sliding door tracks cleaned. He assured me these would be done. He also said if I had any issues to let him know, that he couldn't fix anything he wasn't aware was an problem. After the first cleaning I let him know neither of these things were done. His response? That they would no longer be cleaning my house. If you want the appearance of a clean home (surface only) then this company may work for you. If you actually want a clean house, look elsewhere. read more

Been getting them for 3 months now. 1688 sq ft house with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths costs us $85 every two weeks. Some cleaning teams are better than others. I honestly don't notice much difference on the special area cleans verses the normal cleans because of the team-to-team variability. If I could customize it to only bathrooms and kitchen, I would, but the price is almost the same for that verses the entire house. They do a great job on the kitchen though!! Good value for the money and saves us probably 5-10 hours of our own time every month. read more

I scheduled a time to have someone come out to provide an estimated cost for services. Paul (owner) later emailed me the stimate and I was surprised that his estimate was considerably higher than other estimates I had received. I inquired as to how the cost for services was determined as he had listed multiple living areas that because of our limited square footage are not well defined. I politely asked if he could explain how he arrived at the estimate and explained the budget I wished to stay within. I asked if he could provide a Cleaning regimen that might keep me within my requested budget. I had heard they provided good cleaning services from a friend and was hoping he would identify a cleaning schedule that might meet my needs. Even if he couldn't I was still considering the service because of their recommendation. I never heard back and there was no response to my email. I requested a bit of transparency from a company I was considering trusting to be in my home. Obviously, they don't need additional business and don't value customer service. This behavior seems consistent for this company based on other reviews I've read. I feel disappointed and disrespected. My friend who referred was embarrassed and likely not to refer in the future. read more

TL;DR - DO NOT HIRE. Will take your money and leave you with a dirty house. I hired this company to do a move out clean. They were supposedly there for four hours, but barely anything was touched in the house. Baseboards, door frames, appliances, walls, all were left untouched. We had pulled the refrigerator away from the wall for them to clean behind it and they pushed it back in place without doing anything. When I called to complain, the manager was very concerned and said she would speak with the cleaners when they got back to the office and then return my call. By the next day, I hadn't heard anything back and there was a $250 charge on my card (because of course you have to give them credit card information before they clean - otherwise they probably wouldn't make any money since they do such a bad job). When I called again, she refused to do anything and said I would have to pay them $65 an hour again for them to come do the job I had already paid them for! Horrible company - do not use them. read more

I was never impressed with their work and found it to be bare minimum. Waste of money! Terrible service! read more

I've used this Cleaner for about a year and haven't been pleased after the first 2 times they cleaned. We were in the process of moving to a new house so I had them do a "move-out" clean as I didn't have time to clean it myself. I paid $65 an hour only to come home to see they did a piss poor job. Apparently they said they were there for 4 hours for a total cost of $240. The house was completely empty and one bathroom was already cleaned since I had done it prior. Even our property management company said things would have to be cleaned again. They didn't clean the oven door, the floor by the fridge, the outside of the fridge and the baseboards. I called Tracey to inform her how unstatisfied I was. (I even sent pictures of the kitchen). She said she would speak to the Paul, the owner. I called 2 days later as I hadn't heard anything and Tracey said Paul wouldn't refund me any money and if I wanted them to come back out I would have to pay an additional $65 an hour. Yeah right! So basically I will have to use my time to clean a house that I already paid someone else to do. I don't suggest using this company. EVER! read more

The cleaning ladies seemed nice and we used them 5 times. There were several issues that led us to stop their services after just five times. 1) the cleaning ladies were never the same so it was like they never had been to our house before. 2). They were not thorough. Each time we had to let them know they forgot to clean obvious things (toilet, shower, floor areas, etc). They almost always arrived 1 to 1.5 hours before they were supposed to be at the house (they call you the night before and give you a one hour window in which they will arrive). Their cleaning cloths appeared old and dirty and I didn't like my counters wiped with things that appeared unclean. They rushed and that's why I think they were not thorough. From marketing materials, I always thought they wore uniforms - but on one occasion, one of the new girls was dressed in what appeared to be more of a night club outfit. I was glad they did not require a contract so it was easy to stop service. read more
