This is not a good company to use. They do not do a good job and then do not back their work. When their "refinish light" method did not work Jeff came in and sanded my floors. His finished product looked terrible!! They called to ask how I liked my floors and I told them I did not like them AT ALL. They said Jeff would give me a call ... which he never did. Very impressed with the clean team! Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I had 2 area rugs that other companies told me they'd have to clean offsite or their prices were so high it would be cheaper to buy a new carpet instead. The clean team looked at the stains, pre treated them, and the stains are now gone. It looks like my house was recarpeted! We recently bought a house and I was shopping around to find some companies that would clean my carpet and some area rugs we had (2). I was very impressed with the initial phone call and the estimator who came to give me a quote. This was competing with some of the other mailers that I received, but those are almost scams.... one of them sounded great, $49 for a room up to three rooms with hallway a cleaning but then they start taking on additional fees for actually cleaning the carpet and other rooms that are exponentially more expensive. The clean team was up front and their pricing was straight forward. On the date of the cleaning, the cleaner showed up promptly at 8 a.m. and introduced himself. I showed him where the areas in the house that needed to be cleaned and the area rugs and he started working. He was very friendly, knowledgable and pointed out all the spots on the carpet that needed extra work to which he did without any extra charge and even a smile on his face. He took Extra Care around the corners of the house and had even equipment to protect the walls or stairways from getting damaged. A couple days after the cleaning, the office had called me to make sure everything had gone well and reiterated their 30 day guarantee. It's rare to find a company with such-good customer service. I had my entire home's flooring deep cleaned: hardwood, laminate, tile and carpet. The hardwood now looks as as good as it possibly can. They were able to clean off all the accumulation of finishes I had applied over the years, and put down a finish that looks like new. We moved in a house about 3 years ago and the hard woods were scratched from their small dogs and the color was definitely not the color it should be. Some of the coating had come up from different things over the years and was not a consistent color. I kept putting it off because I thought it was going to be expensive to get it cleaned. I had seen The Clean Team's ad a lot and finally decided to call. Jeff came out and gave me the price and decided to have it done. It was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to be. We had them come out and clean it a week ago and it looks incredible. I still can't get over how good it looks. I apologize I can't remember the gentleman's name who came over but he was extremely nice and professional. Apparently there was a "clear" coat on the floor that had built up over the years. His machines and solution didn't work in cleaning it so he scrapped the whole thing BY HAND with a scrapper. I thought for sure he would get done and say since I had to do that, it would be more expensive, which I would have understood. NOPE. It was the same cost as quoted. We made an appointment with The Clean Team on Tuesday morning, for 9AM today (Friday.) We had originally scheduled with a different company, but received a mailer from The Clean Team (as we do quite frequently) They offered comparable service at a better price, were incredibly friendly on the phone and were understanding that it was a last minute but fairly urgent and needs to be done before next Monday. Tuesday afternoon the arctic cold front moved in. Yesterday afternoon my husband called to confirm our appointment. It was ~ 5f out when he called. This morning we got up early, moved all of our furniture, in prep for the cleaning. At 8:30AM we discovered the voicemail left on a cell phone (not the home number we left as a main contact) at 7:20 AM this morning, stating that they were canceling, citing "it's too cold." No offer of a different day or time, just cancel. The temps today are comparable with yesterday's. When we called to confirm yesterday there was no mention of a possibility of temps being a problem. We tried to call them back and nobody is available to take a call. We are now scrambling to find someone else that can get the job done last minute, at a higher price than the original company would have done it for and most likely having to cancel weekend plans to make it work. read more

If you are thinking of using the "Clean Team" to put a new finish on your oak floors without all the standard sanding - DON'T. We had them do this thinking we could avoid all the sanding dust. We wanted a satin finish but they gave is a gloss finish. I complained and they willing came back to pit a satin finish on. The satin finish looked great but immediately began to peal up in large pieces. I complained again and they came back for a third time. This time the finish had an organ peel look with circular scratches exposed in the sunlight. Some areas were satin and some were gloss. I demanded my money back which they seemed happy to do. We then hired another company who came in to sand the whole area and to it right. In all our hardwood area was down for almost four weeks. I definitely do not recommend this company for this specific service. read more

We had a parquet floor in our lower level game room. It had a number of coats of stain and varnish and was looking quite bad. The clean team made it look better than new. You can see the grain and variations in shade such as a new floor would have. Very pleased with the results! read more
