However, the cocktail my coworker ordered looked disgusting and tasted mid. While I don't recall the name of the cocktail they ordered I believe it had blue curacao and pineapple. Regardless of the ingredients, I don't understand why the bartender allowed a drink that resembled dirty dish water to be served in a clear cup. After finishing our drinks, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our food to be served. I found the long wait to be inexcusable. The restaurant and bar were not crowded and a family that arrived long after we did was served their food long before us. I ordered a double cheeseburger, mozzarella sticks tossed in hot garlic Parm, medium boneless wings, and an order of French fries. The food left a lot to be desired. The hamburger patties had the taste and consistency of the cheap, frozen patties you buy in a store. The mozzarella sticks were similar. The French fries were unsalted and tasted stale. The boneless wings were spicy, as I ordered. But the sauce tasted like it had BBQ sauce added and the meat wasn't delicious. I won't even discuss the "Melba" sauce I ordered with my mozz sticks. My Place did not live up to the hype for us and we will not be returning. Our server was polite and got tipped well due to that. But between the long wait and abysmal food, I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

The entire night they played 1980s New-wave British music which I don't mind, but had it been something I detest I would have lost my mind. We were seated at a tiny table with a small candle which provided some actual heat on the cold winter night. Our server was extremely helpful and though he didn't have all the answers he did offer to go and find out. They have a long menu but it doesn't have a lot of food options on it, with most of the pages devoted to alcohol. They had only one dessert option when we were there. My wife and I both ordered the Hanger Steak with fries, mushroom sauce, and green salad (about $40 each). Hanger steak is my favorite cut and hard to find so I jumped on it. Food came out in about 25 minutes, which is amazing considering how small their kitchen is. The steak was cooked perfectly (they didn't ask how we wanted it), smothered in a lovely mushroom sauce, and covered an ample portion of crispy homemade fries which were so good I would have thought them bagged frozen items. Even the basic salad which was just various types of lettuce was great. They aren't cheap, but they are focusing on "farm to table" and that means quality food at commensurate (fair?) prices. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are $15, so if you want something lighter but still tasty you can go that route. Speaking of light, if you go into the bathroom on the right you will find a cold, dark, tiny room lit solely by a PINK bulb. It feels like being on a spaceship (as if I know what that is like), and after when you leave seeing the main light in the restaurant is very jarring. It was a fun experience but not inexpensive and not one that checks the boxes that I look for in a restaurant. Dark, loud, and cramped might be hip for the young or "save the earth" crowd, but I am too old to give up creature comforts for such things. The food, though expensive, was absolutely outstanding in every way though and I won't forget that steak for a long time.

We ordered a wing platter and tried Stebo, garlic parm, moonshine, and bourbon BBQ. The Stebo was the clear favorite for everyone, with the bourbon BBQ as my personal second. I'd definitely be interested in trying their honey BBQ next time. The wings themselves were excellent, large, meaty, crispy, and very flavorful. My burger itself was what I'd call medium rare rather than well done, but I was hungry and didn't send it back. Despite the mix-ups, the food across the board was very good, and the portions were large. I was full and couldn't even finish my fries, which almost never happens. Service overall was a mixed bag. The waiter was friendly and acknowledged the mistakes upfront, which I appreciated. Other staff checked in on us, refilled drinks, and made sure we had napkins and wet wipes for the wings. Once the errors were announced , they were handled quickly and without any issue. I really think if the order had been written down, this could have easily been a 5 star visit. I'll definitely be back, the wings alone are worth it, and the staff did a good job recovering from the mistakes. Next time, if we're a larger group again, I might suggest writing the order down just to avoid the same issues.

Mom just walked by these guys and proceeded to the dining area and began perusing their specials. They have the usual pub fare like burgers, sandwiches and salads and some Mexican style options like nachos and jalapeño poppers. Lots of draft selections including Fiddlehead, a personal favorite. The dine in seating away from the bar was relaxed and comfortable. I wasn't expecting much given the atmosphere but the food was very good. The salad I had was nice with romaine lettuce and an assortment of veggies. Mom enjoyed their burger. Reasonable prices. I'd gladly return here now that I've been introduced to its understated charm.
