Henry also suggested moving the air return register away from my front door (to avoid sucking in outdoor dust/allergens) and closer to the bedroom area, and he promptly had a guy come over to patch up the hole in my entryway ceiling. Jazmin in the office was really helpful in coordinating the asbestos removal on the ducts, which was a separate job, and also the post-installation inspections. Included with the install was a wi-fi thermostat to bring me into the 21st century. The Costco guys had that as a separate item with a 2x retail markup! We have solar so we have the a/c on 72 degrees 24/7. We changed the filters every 3 to 6 months. We were using the oven and had friends over and everyone was hot. We turned down the a/c but it was over 78 in the house. We contacted A & H, July 20, 2026 and they charge $280 for a diagnostic. The technician came out the next day and couldn't find anything wrong but added a pound of Freon. Total charge was $380. That seemed to work but it didn't stay cool for long. On Aug 3rd they came and added 2 more pounds of Freon and charged $200. September 30, 2026 and we are still running warm by the end of the evening and during the heat wave it's over 80+degrees. I called them last week, Wednesday. On Monday, they will have one of their techs be in touch with me. On Wednesday, I asked for an appointment and a team member will be in touch with me. It's 3:30 Thursday. Hopefully, someone will contact us soon. I'll let you know if there are any updates.

My issue was I needed a new compressor which the other two bozo clowns couldn't figure out.
