Stopped in here recently when I was in the area. Wanted to check out if they had anything decent for my grandchildren, since they had a sign out front that all jeans were under $10 and most other items were 50 percent off. Ugh. This place is a wreck. Floors are dirty and the dressing room - wow. I instructed my granddaughter not to touch ANYTHING because there was so much trash all over the one dressing room they have. Gave me the heebie-jeebies, for sure. Tried on one pair of jeans and realized that these are not cut like traditional children's pants. Quickly put them back on the shelf and walked out. Your manager was rude and wouldn't get my online package, i stood behind the other lady who was waiting for her package. I was told to stand in a very long of people that was shopping even though i wasn't shopping. Your manager was so rude words were exchanged. I am completed upset and words cannot explain how much I am dissatisfied with THIS LOCATION and the girl that assisted me. I came to pick up an online order. My sister and I use the same account to order because it's easier for both of us. I gave her the email with order number and she asked for name and realized it's under my sister. Normally I add me as an authorized user and pick up. For some reason the system did not save. I did the pick up in store for the extra 5% discount. Anything counts when you spend a few hundred dollars every couple months. I spend about $500 on school shopping alone. I have NEVER had any problems at any location. EVER! I offered to FaceTime my sister so they can see her and she can even send me a picture of her license. She said no. I didn't even have my license and she had said a picture of mine was ok. What's the difference when you can see??? The billing information was under my name and address too!! Like why are you making it so difficult on your loyal customers!!??? I also came a day before Thanksgiving and since it was closing time the pregnant lady that assisted me forgot to remove the anti theft sensor. I spent $100 that night to realize the next day that my daughter was unable to wear it! I was upset but understood things happen. I have a newborn and 3 other children so I'm sorry I could come sooner to get a sensor removed--I mean I wasn't in need to use it anymore since Thanksgiving past! I was like "eh I'll place another order and do two in one!". So much for that. I offered to show my card I paid with and the screenshot of date and time so they can look up receipt and help me removing sensor. She said no. Obviously upset already, I asked for customer service number and her name and she said it's her policy not to give her name wow!! Unbelievable!!! This location has lost my business!! I will visit woodlands or Deerbrook when I'm in need. Luckily this business itself is great and their quality is superb and I will continue to shop until my children outgrow. Still upset I'm going to have to wait for a refund a few WEEKS!! Easy to take money but have to wait weeks to receive ? That is annoying. read more

Made a purchase $11.88 in Irving, Texas. Missed the return DEADLINE by 6 days due to family illness, hospitalization and surgery, recovery. My bad, BUT THE CHILDREN"S PLACE store policy would not simply give a STORE CREDIT to purchase ANYTHING that would fit. Instead the offer was an exact exchange for a different size of what was purchased - WHICH WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. How can that make any sense what-so-ever? I also picked up an online order when ATTEMPTING the return. WHEN the store has more than ONE employee, and my girls are not with me, I plan to go back and return the online order $48ish and NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!!! Why? Because i did contact customer service via email and received NO REPLY. There are TOO MANY options for shopping to make a customer want to continue to shop with an organization that DOES NOT VALUE their loyal clientele and is willing to lose a customer for so little effort to reconcile a problem. read more

They have a large sign on the window stating entire store up to 50% off but very little is on sale. Never had anyone ask if I needed help or even welcome to the store. The only acknowledgment of my presence was when I ask a question. A little customer service goes a long way. Maybe someone should teach this to their associates. read more

Customer service reps SHOULD do everything in their power to satisfy a customer make their experience above and beyond but today on Christmas Eve has to be the worst customer service ever, and WORST when it comes from managmwnt which should set an example and is the Face of the company!! Elizabeth was rude and unprofessional.... I am sorry if she was upset for having to work on Christmas Eve, but being rude throwing a coupon at a customers and please check the cameras to verify thing information incident just happen... after having a long line of customer waiting for a long time and her waiting around watching and not helping her employee this is what I called WRONG... seriously thinking about canceling my credit card and not shopping here anymore ... read more

Please do not shop here!!! The service was horrible. I never leave reviews but I had to this time. My wife and I went shopping for some school clothes for our children, after we picked out our items we had to wait in line for over 30 mins to be helped while the manager and her friends were hanging out on the other side of the store. Multiple customers 4 or 5 all asked if someone could help and the manager just looked and ignored us(There were over 10 customers waiting in line). I attempted to contact the customer service over 7 times and have not received a call back. If we (Consumers) stop spending our money at places that treat us like this then maybe they will clean up their act. read more

I ordered clothes online for my daughter and needed to pickup my order. I was very skeptical going into this location due it's bad reviews on Yelp and Google. Got there and said to myself well hopefully this goes better than the reviews I've seen. To my surprise, I was greeted upon entering. I went up to the employee and told her I had a pickup order. She said to give her a moment and she would be right with me. Took a few minutes, was a Saturday mid morning so it was somewhat packed with ppl. Showed her my order number and said she'd be right back. Few moments later, she gave me the package and told me to sign acknowledging I had received it. I decided to open it there on the counter of the store because I figured if something didn't fit my daughter, I could just simply return it there. Everything look good! I have 3 daughters my oldest is 19 and youngest 10. I have been shopping at Children's place for a while but This location has the worst customer service!!! Highly recommend hiring new management and staff and ensure all customer service trained. Let's not discuss order online pick up same day... never at this location. We shop at The Children's Place all the time. The clothes they carry are good quality and are still reasonably priced. There are usually sales going on all the time and if you join their rewards club, you get points for you purchases which you can redeem for credit. The store issues coupons a lot when you check out towards your next purchase which really adds to the savings. The store carries a wide variety of clothing all the way from newborn to older kids. Staff is always friendly and polite which is a plus. You are always welcomed upon entering and thanked for your business before leaving. I will continue to shop at The Children's Place and recommend it to anyone with children. read more
