I am heartbroken by our experience at this Once Upon A Child location. While we were in the toy section, an employee became visibly angry and aggressively threw toys into the bins and onto the shelves. She then loudly told us that the girls could play with the toys but couldn't take them out of the bins--even though my daughters had just arrived and were not the ones who made the mess. Her behavior terrified my children. They immediately started screaming and crying and were afraid whenever she came near them. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to witness. What hurts the most is that this has continued even after we left. My children have been having nightmares about this incident. No child should leave a children's store feeling scared and emotionally distressed. I have reported this to corporate and hope this incident is taken seriously so no other family has to experience what ours did. read more

I called to ask what they were taking in. I was told to bring clothes neatly folded on a clothes hamper. I show up and they are passing clothes hamper to put clothes in laid out. While im doing that I get approached by another worker and she tells me with an attitude how they are being selective. I brought other items and very rudely she said it was stained in a loud voice. Which I'm ok with the passing on stuff. But the manner they talk to ppl is disrespectful. They gave me almost all my clothes back saying they were stained. I know that those items were not stained. The service made me not want to buy anything. Don't think I'd want to do business here anymore. read more

If you need to save some cash on kids clothes, this a great option. But be prepared for a Garage Sale type experience. The store is so packed to the ceiling that air doesn't flow. It was at least 85 degrees inside. read more

If you ever see me cracking up in this store just know it's because the original store had the item discounted at $4 and OUAC has it listed at $10. Y'all have got to get reallllll. I'll buy new. Id love to not contribute to fast fashion but prices here are higher than target and Walmart. Save your time & stretch your dollar. Go anywhere else read more

These people are real scammers, they buy items at ridiculous prices and resell at a very high cost, I would say 15 times more than the price they offer to sellers. I'd rather make a donation than go there. I sold items I bought on Amazon that my children have never used or barely worn, more than 15 items in very good conditions, I could never imagine receiving 10 dollars and a few cents for items that cost me hundreds of dollars, it's theft. Not to mention that I spent 1:15 minutes there before everything was finalized. I wouldn't go there anymore either for sale or for the purchase, I don't know if it's only to some people they do it or it's everyone. read more

Friendly staff, great place to sell gently used children's clothes. I wouldn't go anywhere else to sell clothes, I've had a great experience, they have an organized system and it's easy. The hardest part is waiting, depending on how many people are ahead of you. Go early and during the week! What they mostly need or maybe pay more for is Youth sizes of 5-20. They also have very reasonable prices on clothes and toys. read more

Ick. I realize this is a resale store but...a lock of hair? That seems to be taking resale too far. read more

This place is amazing, they carry a lot of nice stuff for the children. And at a great price too

I took in several items 95% of my items were new with tags. Unfortunately this warranted my sales price to be $7.00 even. I'm not pressed for money but, definitely know when I'm being ripped off. Next time instead of selling my items here I will just donate them else where. I've decided to give this place more stars then they actually deserve, only because my kids love visiting this store. Pros: has a good variety, good location. Cons: will most definitely low ball your items. read more

Good selection most of the time (although larger boy's sizes are more challenging). Great value - clothes in good shape and as fast as kids grow it's helpful to find things at low prices. read more

This location is way better than 529. It's more stuff the only thing is that is very crowded You get a good fair amount of what u give read more

If you are trying to sell them your items, don't waste your time. They will turn down 99% of the stuff you bring in. They basically will only accept things that are brand new and give you pennies to the dollar. Zero stars if I could but yelp won't let me. read more

Horrible. They mark everything 2 stars out of three no matter what and give you the lowest resale price for items. I brought 16 items- vans, old navy, Reebok. They took them some only worn twice. No stains no wear. They offered me $20 for all the shoes. They're lazy and they skimp. DO NOT SELL HERE. Go to 529. *just went to the 529 store and showed them photos of the same items. They informed their system pays out more than double what this location paid. I called back apparently they share ownership w the Woodlands location. 529 which pays more fair prices for items has different ownership. DO NOT SELL HERE OR BUY. They buy back low and sell overpriced. 529 much better. Will be calling the ownership to understand why they undercut so much. More to come. read more

I came to sell clothes not be put to work and do the work for you ! Very unprofessional and will never return to this location. read more

I organized six boxes of clothes to sell at this location. I made sure to fully read their website to make sure I did everything right. Their website clearly says the clothes need to be neatly folded or laid flat. I spent a long time neatly folding everything. I got to the store and waited in line just to be told that they won't take anything that's not laid flat. When I showed them the website stating that they could be neatly folded the staff told me that every store makes their own rules. I'm highly frustrated by this, and the incredible waste of time. read more

Great store for affordable baby clothes! Not too disorganized. A little crowded, but because of the price point I'd definitely come back again. read more

If I could I would give zero stars. If your not careful and forgetful of what your selling they will rob you of your items. I have more than once have brought Nike Addis Jordan name NAME BRANDS in shoes especially and they straight up stolen them or down right gave me $1.50 when they put the shoes on the shelf for $20-$25-$30 and quite possible more. Along with Plato's closet and style Encore. Here especially at the Willowbrook Mall location Willowbrook area location. I wonder if the company overall isn't a cover-up for Friday or some type of cover-up for something I don't even know how to explain but which you know I'm not even into her involved with this new going on here that's very shady and I don't know if it's a personal attack against me or if it's something else. I find it disappointing that I go to sell some of kids clothes which are in good condition and the store takes advantage of the customers. they offer you a very low price for the merchandise you bring in. for example they offered me $8 bucks for at least 10 items that they got from me, in which one of them to begin with I pay 20 bucks. when later they will sale each items for more than what they game me. another time they offered me 3 buck for a T-shirt and a pare of shoes. I said no thanks I rather donate. read more

Low Ball! I brought in a brand new mamaroo 219.99 and a brand new rocker 149.99. They offered me $73 for BOTH. I feel so insulted, especially since some of the things in there looked dingy and stank! This was our first time at this location seeing how we just moved to the area. I can't believe I even have to leave a review, insane. We will certainly not be returning. They took 4 shirts and gave us $10. We brought in 4 large bags of clothes, mostly name brand, all freshly washed and folded. Not needing/liking the clothes is one thing, but the reason listed at the bottom of our receipt per their manager who has zero customer service skills and a horrendous, off putting demeanor, was because some of the clothes were "inside out". Two of the cashiers were in shock and even laughed, admitting it was ridiculous and they had never heard of that before either. The manager is the one who went through the clothing and made the final decision. There may have been some things inside out, but I'm certain that over 85% of the clothes were definitely not. And even if so, that is pure laziness to not open or look at clothing because it is inside out? I have been to countless locations to buy/sell and that has never happened to me once. Not to mention, she shoved everything in a large pink GARBAGE bag UNFOLDED to return to us. Therefore, I now have to REFOLD every single thing to attempt to bring it to another location. Over 50 outfits!!! This was absurd and a total waste of an hour. I will go out of my way and simply drive further to go somewhere else next time. read more

This is a second hand store that only carries kid's clothes which makes this business just brilliant! I came here usually to purchase large baby items and once again here I am for dance items for both my kiddos. A dance parent recommended for me to come here and purchase my kid's both tap and ballet shoes at a more reasonable price since I had to purchase 4 pairs of shoes in total. Now they might not have EVERYTHING you may be in search for but if you do it saves you quite some bucks! The staff is kind and is willing to help even if they try to look for it in the non displayed inventory if you tell them what specific item you are searching for. I do like that even though their items are used, they are in great condition and for the price you honestly cannot complain. The low prices allow me to leave with filled bags more than I would at the mall. read more

Do NOT sell your "gently used" baby clothes and furniture, accessories to this store. In my opinion, they are scalpers of the lowest order. They offered me 5% of a bassinet (new @ $125, mattress pad, 2 sheets), and their attitude was as if they were doing me a favor. They offered me pennies on the dollar for the other items in PERFECT condition. In my opinion, their prices are outrageously inflated. What? Is rent so expensive at the mall, that you have to pick my pocket just to make ends meet? read more

I went shopping here fairly frequently but I finally reached the final straw. I bought several items on my last trip to bring home and have my child try on. While shopping I asked an employee what the yellow clearance sticker meant. She told me it was an extra 20% off. Sweet, so I grabbed a few more items than originally planning. I checked out, went home, and came back to return a few ill fitting items. They told me I could not return the clearance items. I was dumbfounded. They said it was on the bottom of the receipt that they were final sale. So you mean to tell me that they inform you it's final sale AFTER the items are purchased. That's very deceitful and not something I'm willing to allow happen again. Just avoid this business and go to a different thrift shop read more

This place sucks. I never took my sons clothes any where to sell this was my first time ever doing this because a friend recommended it. I took a whole trash bad of good name brand clothes barely worn and 10 pairs of shoes that wore only worn once. And I only got $27. And the girl told me they only wanted 10 items and asked if I wanted to donate the rest. Like seriously ? I took like 50 perfect items or more.......I only took the offer because I was just trying to get rid of my sons clothes. I would of made more selling them my self on offer up, to be honest. But I didn't want to do all that. If you want to get your monies worth just sell your self, honestly. read more

I come here often as my children grow out of their clothes. The store is well organized and neat to shuffle through and find things. You have a good variety of sizing to select from. If you're selling items keep in mind that they will push you back for others with less baskets even if you were the first in the store and keep doing so till there's not anyone selling less than you but that just to keep the flow going and not hold a long line waiting. read more

First time at a store like this. Showed up on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by the rudest employee who couldn't be bothered to have an uninterrupted conversation with me. I was told they don't accept some items we brought, despite what the website says. Fine. I was also informed that a Beco baby carrier (retails new for $75) would not be accepted because it's part of a car seat. What? Weird, incorrect, but not worth the argument. Brought a total of 50 pieces of name brand baby clothes (some Ralph Lauren still with tags) and was offered $58. Overall it's greater than the $0 I would get from donating but would've been a better experience with more pleasant staff. I'll be frequenting another location and hopefully will catch them on a good day. read more

I love this place for what it is- a way to get the adorable clothes you want for your child way cheaper than buying new. We have a 6 month old. When I buy him things, I know they will be out grown quickly. I love buying him adorable dress clothes and gingham rompers. You cannot find those for less than $15. Yesterday I bought 5 for $20. They even have clearance. Some baby gear is majorly over priced but you will find bargains. If I'm buying used I want to spend 50% of current retail price. I went looking for a play yard. They had 2- one dirty, one gross and worn out. The item I wanted's cost at buybuy baby is about $60 and theirs are marked $40. After finding a $15 off coupon and having a gift card I decided I'd rather go with buybuy baby. A used item has less life left in it. I have however bought new-in-box baby toys for 30% of retail there. And my favorite carrier, a jj cole agility, NIB for $10! I can baby wear outside, in our heat, and not be miserable. It's like most resale shops, shop wise, use your phone to check prices, and you will save a boatload. read more

In the past few weeks I have spent almost $400 in the store. They have good prices and good things for the money. The staff on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Very unprofessional, not particularly friendly and my last straw was I couldn't check out until they finished their non-work related conversation. The woman in front of me left her stuff on the counter and walked out. She was so frustrated. This is an issue that needs to be looked at and addressed and changed by their corporate office. As good as the prices are this is a small neighborhood and they do not need a bad reputation. It is a turn off and makes me not want to shop in their in the future. read more

Poor customer service . Please hire nicer employees . Make you feel like you are a bother. Seem to be always in a bad mood.

Super great deals on clothes and gear. I found a new in box Ergobaby Carrier with infant insert for $75. They have swings, books, bouncers, accessories and of course lots of clothes. The only thing I wish they would do is have a designer rack like Kid to Kid does. I would agree with another reviewer that the store does smell a bit musty but doesn't everyone wash their clothes before wearing them anyway? read more

We went there last week, just before Christmas and I found the place to be nice. Its a resale shop so you figure some of the clothes will be worn, but we found some clothes, and shoes that looked brand new. and at good prices. Will go there again now that I know about it. The people were a little standoffish, not very customer oriented, but still friendly enough. read more

Never coming to the location again! They have 10+ employees and it takes them 3 hours to look thru one pamper box of clothes??? They are some lazy woman standing around like they don't have people waiting, then they want you to wait in store um hello we have kids that are inpatient!!! Why the reject gap clothing that is new with tags? All I have to say is the manager and shit she doesn't do anything about the situation. A lady who was there before me was waiting longer and for nothing they didn't buy her 2 big bins of toys they told her they had to be built!! Why didn't they tell her that when they took the stuff??? read more

This was my first time selling. It mostly likely will be my last time. I had two size 14 girls leather jackets (different colors) and they accepted one and not the other. Second, I had a nice pair of boys UMI suede boots that had been worn at the most 5 times. These were 65 dollar boots. The associate said they weren't needed. She went on to say they were a little worn and she would offer me $2. Really, when there were several pair of other shoes that obviously had seen better days in the bins. Another example, I purchase several sweaters there in the summer, they still had tags on them from my purchase. They were not accepted. Mind blowing to the rhyme or reason in what they agree to purchase and what they do not want. I am not sure if I will ever sell again because of this. The customer service received was approached was dry and robotic. A friendly experience is golden to my returning and spending more $$$. Sadly, this was not. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. I've shopped there for years but the one time I take my kids clothes in to resale & ive never been so disappointed in my whole life!! I brought in a box full of denim jeans, black jeans (Levi, wrangler etc) perfect condition look like they were never worn all ironed & sorted & they gave me back 30 pair of jeans in perfect condition they refused to take. They gave them back wrinkled!! I had to re-iron them once I got them home & they don't even care!! I called today to complain & the manager conveniently was not there (middle of the day mind you!!) & I said I'd never shop in there again & sales associate said "ok, that's fine" & hung up!! I usually don't complain but I took 2 boxes in to once upon a child Copperfield & 1 box to once upon a child willowbrook (other boxes were name brand polo, nautica, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole etc) pants shorts & boots/shoes/sandals even red Jordan's & they gave me 53$ for one box of jeans 55$ for the other 2 boxes & the boxes came box nearly full & everything thrown in there wrinkled!! I spent 2 hours to lay everything back out flat , iron & go back through the boxes!! I had 6 boxes to sale of boys clothes mint condition (I donated most of my boys things to goodwill & kept the best to take to resale) & I was going to take them to other resale shops today but I had to instead spend my whole day ironing & re-boxing. It's like there's zero respect for your stuff there!! Im super irritated!! I honestly needed the money & was willing to accept what I was given, but this is 11 years of buying clothes for my boys some of these things have tags on them never worn!! I have 3 boys & my smallest is 3 & has nonverbal autism not potty trained so I'm trying to let go of pants or jeans he isn't able to wear as well as all of his things from 0-3 months up til 3t!! He has insanely nice clothes!! I will try the offer up app but I seriously am disheartened & angry with the entire process with once upon a child!! How does store policy want you to have everything laid out perfectly but give everything back wrinkled & just thrown in the box?? Make that make sense!!!!! read more

Do NOT go to this location. They do not buy back any onesies (unless they are in a set), sleepers, pants, or jeans for babies clothes. If you want a better store I recommend their competitors.
