Newsboy Books has what I wanted. I bought a copy of the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times. It was such a great selection. While I was at it, I also got a look at their books. It's a mixture of used and new copies. The prices range and they usually aren't discounted, but still cheaper compared to those of Barnes & Noble. The employee up front was very friendly and kind. I had called her beforehand to ask if they had sold newspapers and they answered the phone in good time. She was lovely when I arrived and we had a nice small conversation at check out. I know where I'm going to get newspapers from now on, even if it's a bit of a drive from where I live.

After he mentioned it, I looked it up on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised by the reviews. This is a cute bookstore! The prices are unbeatable! I wanted the Twilight book set for a gift and found it here, for a lot cheaper than other places. The set was in great condition too. The bookstore is very organized and clean. It was pretty easy to navigate the store and find books. Service was good too. The person offered to help us look for what we wanted. I would come back here for more books in the future.

Similarly, when I went to checkout one hour later, I was quickly and warmly attended to. You read that right. One! Hour! There were a lot of people, but it honestly felt nice. The air buzzed with literary excitement. There were plenty of books for all tastes. I personally love literary fiction, and I was very excited to find Mark Salzman. I overheard other people gushing over their hidden gem finds, too. In the end, I got 8 books, 2 postcards, and 1 tote for less than $26. On a normal day, would I have left with all 8 books? No, but I definitely would have left with 4 of them for almost the same price. Great finds with great prices. Will definitely come back on a regular day, too.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we walked in the store. There were so many book organized into their own sections. This made the book easier to look through. Recently I've been into horror book and that section did not disappoint. I ended up getting Stephen King's Pet Cemetery. The prices of the book were on the lower side which was very nice!. As for the concert aspect, it was another amazing hard core show. The bands were amazing and I have to give some love to the staff running the concert. A fight broke out and two members of the staff took care of it. They kicked the guy out who started it and was there for the guy that got hurt. The employees were welcoming, friendly and made the experience fun. They encouraged us to join their (free) rewards program via their website and follow them on instagram for updates and other events. I preordered the LP, and pricing is slightly higher than the Bruno Mars website, but I was happy to support a local business. Their mission is to support incarcerated people nationwide by sending them books. The book shop also has notebooks, stickers, jewelries, bookmarks, and greeting cards. It was very organized and clean. Tte staff were very nice. For book lovers, you can find a great variety of genres. For example; thriller and mystery , history, Poetry, religions, Philosophy , Fiction , romance, fantasy, Sci-fi, comics, classics, social studies, Wellness, parenting, kids, business, cultural studies and more. Hardcovers are now $6 and paperbacks $4, which is more than at a general thrift store but then again this nonprofit has a good cause (sending free books to prisons) and a better selection. What used to be the $1 shelf outside the front entrance is the donation shelf where you pay what you can. Hopefully that'll actually make people more generous. In any case, I'm just so glad there are people who still read!!! ;)
