After he mentioned it, I looked it up on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised by the reviews. This is a cute bookstore! The prices are unbeatable! I wanted the Twilight book set for a gift and found it here, for a lot cheaper than other places. The set was in great condition too. The bookstore is very organized and clean. It was pretty easy to navigate the store and find books. Service was good too. The person offered to help us look for what we wanted. I would come back here for more books in the future.

The shelves at the back of the store contains the books that are part of the $5 sale (fill up the plastic bag with as many books as you want for $5). In their glass case, they currently have a Bruce Lee book in their collector's section that I really want, but you know my son's gotta eat and we can eat books. The service has and consistently is highly knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming to not just us, but to all who walk in. The value is = or better than Barnes and Nobles because they have point systems and 2 x a year, the local's favorite..."The Fire Sale!" My boyfriend is in one of the bands that played here which they've played once before. We recently got into comics and reading again so we went in to supper their bookstore. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we walked in the store. There were so many book organized into their own sections. This made the book easier to look through. Recently I've been into horror book and that section did not disappoint. I ended up getting Stephen King's Pet Cemetery. The prices of the book were on the lower side which was very nice!. As for the concert aspect, it was another amazing hard core show. The bands were amazing and I have to give some love to the staff running the concert. A fight broke out and two members of the staff took care of it. They kicked the guy out who started it and was there for the guy that got hurt. Overall this is an amazing location and I will be back for another concert/book shopping session.

Their mission is to support incarcerated people nationwide by sending them books. The book shop also has notebooks, stickers, jewelries, bookmarks, and greeting cards. It was very organized and clean. Tte staff were very nice. For book lovers, you can find a great variety of genres. For example; thriller and mystery , history, Poetry, religions, Philosophy , Fiction , romance, fantasy, Sci-fi, comics, classics, social studies, Wellness, parenting, kids, business, cultural studies and more. Stopped by yesterday morning--found a linguistic hardback book about the evolution of language and…read morewhy colloquialisms are significant for generational communication; and a fiction book that looked intriguing. Hardcovers are now $6 and paperbacks $4, which is more than at a general thrift store but then again this nonprofit has a good cause (sending free books to prisons) and a better selection. What used to be the $1 shelf outside the front entrance is the donation shelf where you pay what you can. Hopefully that'll actually make people more generous. In any case, I'm just so glad there are people who still read!!! ;)
