Bumping them up quite a bit based on today's experience. I'm pretty sure that I ordered poorly last time around because I really enjoyed my lunch this time. I had what can best be described as rice and beans. Not in the Cuban sense or anything remotely similar to a Spanish interpretation. Instead, the rice was a Mediterranean preparation with numerous ingredients including a little bit of vermicelli. Their preparation is slightly sweet. The beans are green beans in a chunky tomato-based stew that includes small chunks of lamb. Add the two together and it makes one hell of a great bowl of lunch. I also grabbed one of their meat pies because it seems as though it would be gratuitous to have a serving of those fantastic-looking dumplings (not sure if they would have served it to me without the chicken) as a side with my bowl of rice. I also had a small side of mixed veggies because they looked good...and they were.

You mean you don't know about this place? Are you kidding me? Well, I can't really say much. I just found out a few years ago. But anyone who is anyone in St. Louis politics and the legal world is generally here on Wednesdays, yakking it up and schmoozing over plates of chicken and noodles, football-shaped kibbee (ground beef, bulgur wheat, onions and spices deep fried) and tabbouli (bulgur wheat, lemon, onion and parsley salad). They're trying hard to find a way to look professional while carrying a tray full of about ten items. Everyone here pigs out. Though it's not a buffet, the prices are unheard of. Everything is a la carte and super cheap. They've got stuffed cabbage, stuffed zucchini, lentils and rice and green beans lubi, which are green beans in a sometimes spicy tomato sauce. You can get baklava for dessert, too. It's a real treasure in St. Louis. Now, the middle of the week is more than just a countdown to Friday. It's St. Raymond's Day!

This is a hidden gem in the city with authentic Lebanese cuisine. They are only open on Wednesday, with cafateria style service in an elegant dinning area with a family/community style neighborhood seating.

We went for the Lebanese fest Saturday night and I thought the food was great!!! The entertainment was pretty good although we didn't stay too long. I just wish that there was more stuff.

The great atmosphere and even greater food make this one of my all time favorites. The food is always serviced with a heart warming smile.

Great food and an inviting atmosphere inside and outside including a huge patio for diners and a separate indoor Hookah room in the back away from the diners for those who wish to partake. The chicken shawarma is amazing and their hummus is fantastic, especially with a little chicken or beef added for a filling appetizer that can easily become a meal on its own. The menu is expansive from traditional middle eastern dishes to pizza and spicy fries ensuring their is truly something for everyone in your group. Between the outstanding food, flavorful hookah, generous portions, and genuinely hospitable atmosphere, this place is a staple in the Central West End and worth coming back to again and again (and most people do!). It's clear this family has put heart into their business, and it shows in every part of the experience including the friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend giving it a try and supporting one of my favorite small businesses in St. Louis!

Well this restaurant is very safe except for the increased cancer risk posed by hookah smoking. The food is quite good, service good too even though only one worker in the front end with indoor and out door seating. Order at the counter and he will bring it out to you. Too much plastic though. Falafel is especially good.

I'm surprised they don't charge more because after purchasing I always find myself saying something along the lines of "I can't believe they don't charge more for this deliciousness". I've tried their baklava before I knew it wasn't vegan, and it left such a memorable mark on my tastebuds. I wish there were a vegan option, but that's just me being me. I've had their hummus too, but because it's a consistent grocery purchase of mine I don't get it as much when I come here. The picture attached to this review has falafel from Kaslik. The other food was something I prepared earlier in the day for dinner, and then I realized falafel from Kaslik would go perfectly with it.

Kaslik has a warm energy when entering the restaurant. You're greeted with a friendly smile, impressive decor and great music. Kaslik has the traditional menu you would expect to see, but you can easily smell the delicious food from the restaurant. We went with a fresh fatoush salad, grilled chicken and beef Schwarma plate. Salad was very fresh and would've ordered another it was so good. Our dishes were also delicious and unfortunately did not leave with any leftovers. Service was great and prices were reasonable. Highly recommend Kaslik Mediterranean Restaurant and will definitely be back!
