You mean you don't know about this place? Are you kidding me? Well, I can't really say much. I just found out a few years ago. But anyone who is anyone in St. Louis politics and the legal world is generally here on Wednesdays, yakking it up and schmoozing over plates of chicken and noodles, football-shaped kibbee (ground beef, bulgur wheat, onions and spices deep fried) and tabbouli (bulgur wheat, lemon, onion and parsley salad). They're trying hard to find a way to look professional while carrying a tray full of about ten items. Everyone here pigs out. Though it's not a buffet, the prices are unheard of. Everything is a la carte and super cheap. They've got stuffed cabbage, stuffed zucchini, lentils and rice and green beans lubi, which are green beans in a sometimes spicy tomato sauce. You can get baklava for dessert, too. It's a real treasure in St. Louis. Now, the middle of the week is more than just a countdown to Friday. It's St. Raymond's Day!

This is a hidden gem in the city with authentic Lebanese cuisine. They are only open on Wednesday, with cafateria style service in an elegant dinning area with a family/community style neighborhood seating.

We went for the Lebanese fest Saturday night and I thought the food was great!!! The entertainment was pretty good although we didn't stay too long. I just wish that there was more stuff.

The great atmosphere and even greater food make this one of my all time favorites. The food is always serviced with a heart warming smile.

I spent the evening on the outdoor patio with a hookah, and it was genuinely one of the more pleasant ways I've spent time in this city. The setting is perfect for it: the neighborhood has a calm, almost European energy, and the restaurant leans into that with its outdoor setup. The hookah was smooth, well-prepared, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. I didn't get to try the food this time around, but the place has the feel of the real thing. You can tell it's a family operation that takes the cuisine seriously. The menu looks legit. Will be back, and next time I'm eating.

Great food and an inviting atmosphere inside and outside including a huge patio for diners and a separate indoor Hookah room in the back away from the diners for those who wish to partake. The chicken shawarma is amazing and their hummus is fantastic, especially with a little chicken or beef added for a filling appetizer that can easily become a meal on its own. The menu is expansive from traditional middle eastern dishes to pizza and spicy fries ensuring their is truly something for everyone in your group. Between the outstanding food, flavorful hookah, generous portions, and genuinely hospitable atmosphere, this place is a staple in the Central West End and worth coming back to again and again (and most people do!). It's clear this family has put heart into their business, and it shows in every part of the experience including the friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend giving it a try and supporting one of my favorite small businesses in St. Louis!

The ambiance inside was like a cozy cafe with Mediterranean vibes, especially at the register. We were seated and already knew what we wanted. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and the mint in the lemonade was refreshingly delicious. For my meal, I opted for the Chicken and Beef Combo. The grilled chicken kabob was incredibly tasty, and the beef kabob was bursting with flavor. It was served with rice, grilled tomato, and a cucumber and tomato salad, all of which complemented the main dishes beautifully. The tzatziki sauce was some of the best I've had in the city. This place is always bustling, and I can see why. The food was absolutely delicious, and my leftovers were just as good as they were when I first ate them. I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu on my next visit, which will be sooner rather than later since every dish I saw looked mouthwatering. If you're searching for a Mediterranean restaurant in The Grove, you've found it. The staff was also very friendly and attentive.

We waited around 20-30 minutes to get a table to accommodate the 7 people in our party. We stood around by the entrance while we waited. When we were finally seated, they put us on the second dining room which has a better ambiance and much more quieter than the main dining room. Someone brought us a pitcher of water which fell slightly short of giving all 7 of us full glasses. Some of us ordered their lemonade mix. I had the one with pomegranate which tasted fresh and made in house. We shared 3 different appetizers: babaganoush, hummus and saksuka. They brought us a basket of naan. They were huge and still warm. The only thing I would have asked for would have been that the naans be cut into smaller pieces so people are not touching naans that others will have to eat. Our appetizers were all excellent. The babaganoush, specifically has fantastic flavors. This might have been the best babaganoush I have ever tasted! For my entree, I ordered the lamb kabob served with some dressed rice and salad. Okay, usually I don't care for rice. It's bland and pretty boring but they actually seasoned their rice here so well that I've completely forgotten I was eating rice. The kabob was so flavorful like it has been marinating for a while. The meat was tender and juicy. We didn't do any dessert as we were all very full in the end. At least 4 out of 7 brought home leftovers. My one friend had made a comment about his pilau being larger than his head! Service was good. You pay up front. If you come in with a large party and ask to split the check, they charge $1 per card. We asked to have our bill split 7 ways and then 2, 2, 2 and 1. She said she understood but then did the math wrong anyway. We didn't bother and just paid the even quarter split and my friends refunded me the difference. Other than a few nuisances, it was a great dining experience. No joke, this place has some seriously good eats. And to be honest, I can't wait to come back!

Hadn't been there before but had driven past and wondered, glad we went! When my friend saw they had hot mint tea she said this was definitely the right place for lunch. We both ordered some and are happy we did! We decided to order a couple of things and share. We had the falafel and the mixed grill. Since she has a seafood allergy we asked to be sure things would be cooked and served separately and I love that they put the shrimp on a small plate on it's on. The falafel was perfect, the sauces (a chili sauce and something tahini or yogurt based were good with it as was the pita bread. The mixed grill had three skewers - chicken, beef and shrimp. Each had uniquely yummy flavors. It came with rice, some grilled veggies and some pico like tomato salad. Confess the baklava looked great as we were leaving. Appreciated the hospitality of the person waiting on us. We talked a bit and discovered he was from a country my friend had been to previously. I'm surprised they don't charge more because after purchasing I always find myself saying something along the lines of "I can't believe they don't charge more for this deliciousness". I've tried their baklava before I knew it wasn't vegan, and it left such a memorable mark on my tastebuds. I wish there were a vegan option, but that's just me being me. I've had their hummus too, but because it's a consistent grocery purchase of mine I don't get it as much when I come here. The picture attached to this review has falafel from Kaslik. The other food was something I prepared earlier in the day for dinner, and then I realized falafel from Kaslik would go perfectly with it.

Once he arrived, we ordered at the counter. I got the katom and the Shawarma-spiced chicken laffa. My friend some got some coffee and shakshuka. It was a minimal wait but was worth it. The beverages came first followed by the food. The juice was beyond refreshing. Best of all, I didn't feel guilty since it has a healthy mixture of fruits and a veggie (carrot). The food was quite surprising (in a good way of course). Although it's labeled spicy, the attendant said it was mild and she was right. I was surprised at the presentation, but for the record, I wasn't sure what to expect. The dish itself was tasty, but I didn't realize it would come with all the things I don't like on top (onions, diced tomatoes, etc). I managed to pick around it and gave the rest to my friend. Overall, it was seasoned well, which truly makes a difference. I enjoyed my visit and am excited to try new things next time.
