Surprised how good this was, a chain in the middle of a strip mall. The fried shrimp (your call, fried, blackened or grilled) was seasoned beautifully and the shrimp were plump. Catfish received similar treatment and they offer more than your standard side options. Convenience wise, they offer drive through service but this isn't ordinary fast food. As a capper, they offered us each a free margarita. I had to have her repeat because who does that? Stop by and find out.

This place is truly The Big Easy! My dish was so yummy; I got the Creamy Cajun Pasta, a pasta with Spicy Alfredo Sauce, Shrimp Andouille Sausage, and Green Bell Peppers. It had all of New Orleans's rich flavors and spices I so love. But I have to praise the staff for dealing with my foolishness. I should have been embarrassed, but I couldn't stop laughing because the girl at the window made it hilarious. So I went through the drive-thru and ordered. I pulled up but didn't see the window to pay and get my food. So I drove around searching for the window. I couldn't find the window, so I decided to go inside and ask where's the window. She tells me, but I know there's not a window. We were both laughing, and I went back out, got in my car, and drive-through the drive-thru again. There's no window, but as I'm turning around in the parking lot, there's this cute girl with this big smile waving at me out the window. Y'all there was no window there at first... Lol

Update: their boudin balls are SO GOOD. They taste like the boudin is homemade. BUT the shrimp étouffée tastes like it was seasoned with premade crab boil and not individual seasonings. It's not great. I ordered our food to go and was surprised at how much sauce they gave us. The fish and shrimp were delish and so were the fried green tomatoes. They have a best remoulade I've ever tasted. The person taking my order was very nice and I'm assuming she's the same person who helped me in the drive through. Great service.

    A lot of lice

Ordered delivery and they treated me like a dog and threw me all the scraps, they smelt rancid and bodies were starting to turn black/grey. Any employees that think this is okay to do to delivery orders obviously don't care and think they're clever. Save your money and try another sea food place that treats customers with respect esp for the outrageous prices of seafood these days. Owe and I bought two pounds and I'm guessing maybe received one for $50

This place has some good plates. I got the fried fish with the beans and rice, garlic bread and hush puppy. They were giving out complimentary margaritas. With a refill. So you know the fam was LIT. . The plates were a very good size and we took food home with a full tummy. The service was really good and she helped with all our orders and it went smooth. The fried catfish was . Went well with the beans and rice. The sausage it came with was cooked perfect. Cant complain about this place at all. The service was amazing. Our waiter was hella cool. Make sure you get the blazing sauce, game changer. The inside is nice and bright so you for sure wont have a problem with good food pictures. Follow the foodie @jwardhooper22

Food was surprisingly pleasant! Okra and hush puppies weren't overly fried and fresh of grill. And fish was seasoned really well. Meal was $10 including a free margarita which itself wasn't the best tasting but would come back for the price and taste.

3/31/24 (time: 4PM) My husband and I, went to The Catch today and were very disappointed in this establishment. The place was not clean. There were several empty tables that needed cleaning. The kitchen floor looked grimy and covered in pieces of food that had fallen. The seating area floors were also poorly cleaned. The food was BLAND.... I got the Cajun Special and the catfish was seasoned but it was too salty. My rice, sausage, beans, and hushpuppies were bland (like no flavor). The only thing worth our time was the sweet tea and even that was overly sweet. Will not be returning!!!!

This was not worth $16 dollars!

If you're visiting from out of town don't go here. We stopped by here based on a recommendation from a friend and our experience was terrible. The portions are not worth the price. The management is passive aggressive and spoke to us in a condescending manner. To add insult to injury the food was nasty!

I've always passed by this place and decided to finally stop in with my husband to see what it was all about. We ordered our food, received a number, sat down and waited. I got 2 pounds of crawfish (w/ sausage & potatoes) & my husband got the Catfish Special. The food came out within a fair time but my crawfish was piping hot & had to wait for it to cool down a bit. The crawfish was $7.99, which was a decent price, but definitely tasted like what you'd expect for $7.99. Total we spent $50, and honestly the quality wasn't worth it for the price. The hush puppies were pretty dry, the rice and beans lacked flavor, & the sausages tasted like grilled hotdog weinies.

The Big Easy meal at The Catch

I'm 53 yrs. old Asian woman came with my white husband on Sunday 10/12/25 wanted to try something new. He ordered his meal with fries, I ordered The Big Easy because. I saw the picture it comes with green beans. When my order came out is with fries instead, so I went up to the boy asked how come doesn't come with green beans like the picture. He replied "you didn't say " I said "you didn't asked, I picked it because of the picture. He told me to wait . After 10 minutes we saw big group people came in I still dont have my green beans. I asked him again " excuse me, where's my green bean" he said well the manager can't do anything about it. I said why you made me wait and waisting my time. Then the black lady from the group started to lash out at me " why you give this black boy a hard time" I explained to her he made a mistake put fries instead of green beans and he needed correct the mistake. She started yelling "I know people like you, you want him on his knee?" Then a guys from behind the counter came out asked what I wanted I said just want what supposedly came with. He said to my husband is our fault not look at the receipt. My advice is if you're non Black , you supposed to shut up and eat what they serve you! Otherwise you're a Racist

I've eaten here twice over the past month while ordering a catfish po boy with cole slaw ($9.99) and a seafood plate of fried shrimp and fish with fries and 2 hush puppies ($11.79). The po boy was on Gambino's bread and dressed and the slaw was large in size. This meal was a 3.5. The fish and shrimp meal with fries was average in taste (3). The fries here are not my favorite (I think it's the oil they use) and I would probably order a different side next time. This is a counter service restaurant that also has a large outdoor deck with umbrellas over tables outside. I might come back.

IS IT A CRIME? Because of health issues, I have to be careful about what I eat and how often I eat it. I decided I wanted fried fish to pair with my salad that I brought from home. The Catch is very close to where I work so I chose to eat lunch here. I've tried their food quite a few times previously. It's pretty good but a little heavy on the salt which is why I ordered just fish and shrimp. I have to watch my salt intake. I declined the combo basket when the server asked me if I wanted fries or any other sides. However, after I told her that I brought my own salad , she continuously insisted that if I get the combo instead of paying the a la carte price, it would be less expensive. I had to finally explain to the server that I get it. I said to her, "ma'am I understand that you are trying to help me save money but I have health issues. I have to monitor what I consume. I appreciate your help but I don't mind paying a la carte price." I believe she became upset with me because her entire demeanor changed as if she thought I was being picky, lol. She rolled her eyes at me and the facial expression she contorted spoke volumes of what she was thinking about me. I wanted to say to her, "ma'am is it a crime that I don't want French fries or dirty rice with my meal?" I should have let her give me the fries so she would be a happy camper, but I know myself too well. I would have definitely ate those French fries, lol. Anyway, when she brought my food to the table where I was seated, she didn't ask me if I needed anything else or enjoy your meal ma'am, nothing. She served the two customers that came in together before she served me. They walked into the restaurant minutes after I had ordered my food and they had a large order. I only had two pieces of fish and four shrimp. It took a while before she served my food and it wasn't fully steaming hot which is evident that she let it sit in the back before bringing it out. Keep in mind, I was the only customer in there before the other two guests arrived. I was watching her like a hawk. You can actually see the cooks in the back from the dining area. I rated them two stars for the petty cashier/server's nasty attitude. I've never had anyone in this establishment to treat me this way because I opt out of the sides. I order the same thing every visit. Whether it's fried or grilled fish and shrimp, I never order any sides because I always bring my own salad. The other servers have never treated me with such rudeness because of my preferences. The fish is fried to perfection no doubt but it's heavily doused with salt. I ate my salad without my salad dressing because of how salty the fish and shrimp was. I will not grace this place again with my presence. They can have it. There are other restaurants out here that serve delicious fried fish without all the SALTY attitude!

I have lived near here for 2 years and had not tried it. Today was the day it changed, I was craving Louisiana style food. This place hit the spot! The crawfish were very flavor full, garlic butter and mild spice seasoning with corn and potatoes. We asked for To go for the shrimp Poboy. The bread for the poboy was fluffy and soft, the shrimps were fresh from the cooktop with French fries and a side sauce. Very delicious. I will be coming back!

Overall, this place was just okay. I get the feeling the boils might be the star of the show here, so I'll probably come back to give those a try. I ordered the sampler with fried green tomatoes, boudin balls, and stuffed jalapeños. The flavors were there, but the boudin balls were a little too salty. For my main, I went with the etouffee and asked for both shrimp and crawfish. It was flavorful, with a solid dark roux that I liked. I sat at the bar, and Crystal was my server. She was super friendly but admitted it was her first time making the Bloody Orange Lemon Drop. I gave her a couple of pointers for the second round, and she nailed it - so props for that! In the end, the experience was just fine. Not bad, not amazing. I'll probably come back to try the boils, but for now, it's a solid 3 stars.
