First time here , service friendly and the food was inexpensive and good! I had the jumbo shrimp basket ( regular) and hubs had the shrimp and fish basket. Food was hot, perfectly cooked and really good! Nothing was overly breaded , as stated in other reviews. It was just right. Bathrooms clean and well stocked. My food was OVERCOOKED, to the point where the skin of the shrimp was stuck. Some of my shrimps were sooo soft that as soon as I put it in my mouth it was like it dissolved immediately. It literally took me a minute to remove the skin from the shrimp. Crab legs itself was meatless and couldn't even give me a full claw. Mind you there was only 1 but that 1 was missing about two legs. I mean what?? I spent $80 bucks on food I could have purchased and made ten times better at home. And I could've cleaned my shrimp out. All of the tables were dirty. They were understaffed. Went there after a long day before the tropical storm hit, placed my order and got my first free margarita (a little bland but ok) the food arrived and it was a baked fish with shrimp with sauce and green beans. (Rcvd my 2nd free frozen daiquiri) obviously the same batch, just seemed like a frozen icee, my friend had the fried platter and that's what it was fried (burnt) greasy mess , but what she expected but the staff was very friendly so we cleaned the table for them since they were preparing to close. My family was in town from Louisiana and they wanted seafood. I decided to take a chance as I know this would be a risk. I loved that they have outdoor seating and the prices are within our budget. Well, let me tell you the food was so good that we went back later that day with the fellas. I loved the fried and grilled shrimp. The breading was so light and flavor was delicious. The customer service was great also. Super friendly guys at the counter. My people are from Louisiana and you know they don't play about their seafood. So this was truly a relief and I will go back. The po boy and fried okra was excellent also. The only thing we didn't care for was the gumbo but you know how picky we can be with gumbo. It was just okay and not homemade. The catfish was soo soft and just the right amount of crunch on the outside but juicy, flaky and tender on the inside. Terrible customer service! A group of friends and myself went to patronize the Catch restaurant in Willowbrook, and have the worst experience ever! We entered at least 45 minutes before they closed, and they treated us like they did not want to serve us as they greeted us with, "We close at 9:30 instead of a welcome to Catch." My friends were drawn there because of the free daiquiris, but they reported that they are shutting the machine down and would not serve the free refills. Then they proceeded to mop the floor around us, one of my friends fell because the floor was extremely wet, and instead of showing any compassion, they laughed when we reported the fall, refused to write an incident report, and also refused to give their names. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was not that great, but the customer service made it absolutely horrible. read more
