Staff were very responsive while I was asking questions before buying the car. After I bought IT, not so much.
I was able to speak to the sales manager I bought once or twice after the sale. However, the car arrived from out of state with no notice, a day earlier than arranged, and did not come with the title, as had been stated. I called the sales manager and eh referred me to their title clerk. I left at least two voice mails for her and sent an email. When I didn't hear from her, I emailed the dealership through their contact form, and both texted and left a voicemail for my sales manager. No response for two weeks until I reached out again and threatened to file a complaint with the DMV. Then a different sales manager called me and got the title out through FedEx very quickly. Still, it didn't arrive for over a month after I bought the car and I had no info from the dealership about what was going on.
Other complaints: I specifically asked for photos of all cosmetic defects. I was not sent ones that showed a significant defect in the hood paint (maybe 6 inches long), a patch on the driver's seat where the black leather was worn through to the backing, and spots on the roof. I was told the car had been fully serviced, including new cabin and engine air filters. However, two independent mechanics said they had not been serviced and needed replacement or servicing. Also, the car came with a non-spec battery, which I'm told was causing codes for traction control and an "!" on the dash. Fixing these issues cost about $400.
Finally, the dealer added on a $200 subscription for Theft Patrol without my permission. When I questioned it, the dealer said it was a valuable product and would pay for itself with issuance discounts. I made the mistake of taking them at their word. When I called Progressive, they said it did not qualify for ANY discount. I checked out their app on the Play store. 2 stars, with a predominance of 1 star ratings. read more
