I had the grilled chicken arepa and it was good but not quite amazing. The grilled chicken was really great and in abundance and the green sauce on it was also very good but I was hoping for some melty white cheese and it had a cold, thick slice of a bland mozzarella type of cheese on it. It could have used some lettuce or pico or a bean spread too. The service was great and it's a nice looking place. I will go back again for lunch and maybe try something different.

Food is super incredible! My husband is Venezuelan and we come here when he craves food from home. We also ordered their pan de jamón for Christmas and it was truly soooo delicious. The waiters are also super nice and friendly. We love coming here

Unique S. American menu, very tasty food in plentiful quantities. Very friendly and helpful service made for a very pleasant meal for three of us.

Nice fairly new Venezuelan restaurant. Good food, friendly service. Arepa was tasty, empanadas were different than I'm used to (Argentinian style). Dough is more cornmeal ish, but very tasty. Would return

So this used to be Pablo's a very good Cuban restaurant. With that said it's now "latin" food. After living in FL on the Gulf coast for 18 years I got to know Cuban and Latin food pretty well. The plantains here have Parmesan grated on them... not once have I ever seen that and for me not a good combo. The chirrasco was good but the chimminchurri sauce seemed a bit bland. The chicken fingers my partner ordered were on the kids menu and came out over cooked. The black beans and rice were ok. The best part of the meal was the cicerone's (fried pork belly/ pork rinds) which tasted like they usually do though the portion was small.

Like Brian said, this place replaced Pablo's but I think the food is better and the remodeling looks great. Portions are large and the churrasco was some of the best food I've had in Powell. Service is A+!

Amazing food. You need to try the Churrasco and the Cachapa. Some of the best Latin food I have had in Columbus.

It is next to a plasma place and what might be a market. If you're coming off Cleveland or 161, look for the car repair place and it is straight back from there. They said it's been here two years, but in the three months I've been a fairly regular visitor to the area I've never noticed it. Step inside, and it's nothing fancy, but with lots of comfy booths and tables. A drink cooler off to the side with Mexican Coke, etc. Small menu with the basics (I should have taken a picture of that.) Beef, shrimp, fried plantains, etc. Some breakfast items and pastries. I went with carne azada. Strips of beef, marinated and grilled, and probably the best I've had. Sided with a mix of rice and beans that was pretty good, pico de gallo, excellent guacamole, a roasted pepper, and perfect, hot and fresh corn tortillas. Wrap it all up or eat it individually, it's great either way. Great food, at a decent price, in a non-descript place. Service was stand-offish at first for someone clearly not a regular, but as I wolfed down the food and smiled, they warmed up. I'll be back.

The service was great and the food was excellent. I got the birria quesadilla. I would definitely get it again. The meat had soooooo much flavor. With the melty cheese. This was remarkable. I couldn't finish it so i took some with me and it reheated perfect for the next day. Be aware it is messy but so so so worth it. My husband had the birria on a sandwich and he loved it as well. They had drink specials 2 for the price of 1 or $8 each. This was for some main staples: Margarita & Mojitos Absolutely recommend going here. They weren't very busy and with how good the food is. They absolutely should be!

The waitress was very helpful, and made a few suggestions and answered all my questions. And the food did not disappoint: it was authentic, well-executed and flavorful. I tried the chicharones, which consisted of generous chunks of pork along with charred fat that was a tasty chew. On the advice of the waitress I got the steak dish, and was not disappointed. It was cooked to a tender medium rare, and was perfectly seasoned. I also got the tostones con queso, and they became one of my favorites. All told, it was a feast of familiar flavors and new flavors to me -- all cooked and presented well.

Any age would be welcome here. The food for me was mixed. Nothing bad or not fresh. The tortilla chips were thin and excellent. Not overly salty and strong enough to scoop goodly amounts of the tasty cheese dip. Sadly the cheese dip was barely above room temperature which was disappointing. The "bang bang shrimp" had no bang. They were alright as fried shrimp but no spice. The shrimp sauce was essentially mayonnaise. And again lukewarm at best. The two different sandwiches we had were both well stuffed. Among other things we tried both types of chorizo sausage they offered. Neither was what I expected. The French fries were very good. Another place that I'd have no problem going again, but, probably wouldn't choose again.

I've driven past this spot so many times knowing it was a Hispanic/Latin restaurant, but never actually stopped in because I didn't really understand the menu. Today, I finally gave it a shot--and I'm so glad I did. Everything we ordered was AMAZING. The food? Incredible. The atmosphere? Warm and welcoming. Our server was fast, funny, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Even the manager came out to check on us, which says a lot. This place is seriously a hidden gem. The prices are right in that perfect middle--not too high, not too low--and the portions? HUGE. Even the desserts don't play around. I would absolutely recommend this place again and again and again. If you've been thinking about trying something new but weren't sure... this is your sign.
