I ordered the fish taco and was not disappointed. Spicy and flavorful! I highly recommend this joint.

Tasty, and I am a fan…read more They cook it fresh when you order so for the large fried dough--about the size of a personal pizza--you'll be waiting maybe ten minutes. So worth it today, it tasted fresh and not greasy. They even threw in a free cheese crepe while I waited, which was delicious. Generous. The hash browns are the size of a salad plate, got lots of cheese and crispy bacon my second try. They're lovely! I couldn't finish mine, you can easily split the hash browns or fried dough, honestly. There aren't tables immediately nearby, but the raised wall is the right height for seating if you're staying a while. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu, which I love. The cooking time means mall employees will probably be better off getting this before or after their shifts, but I hope they take this place into their hearts and let this truck stay a while. I think they're going to be an amazing hot treat when the weather turns cold again. **** update 8 oct 19 my vegetarian coworker tried the vegan fried dough/langos and loved it. We couldn't quite nail down the toppings--cabbage/onion but there's something else savory in there. Not as piquant as sauerkraut. **** update 14 oct 19 think my first hash browns were stacked in a small paper side plate and slowly glued themselves together. My second try was much lighter and crispier. Generous toppings both times.

Friendly hot dog dude manning the booth all on his lonesome today. $10.92 before tax gets you a dog…read moreand a drink (free refills all day), but if you want any topping other than grilled onion or jalapeño it will cost you. I got chili (certainly not much!!), cheese (melted nacho) and bacon (nice and crispy and in small pieces, so I could eat without impersonating a dog with a chew toy) and that made my combo $13.98 before tip. Happy: There was no line when I ordered, and it was served up efficiently and cheerfully. The biggest selling point (certainly consider this if you are a northerner visiting Tx in the summer) is the large drink with free refills for the entire day--there's another stand somewhere else in the mall which was news to me. Also, I think I saw they have a hand washing station as I left. Sad: There are no tables, chairs, or benches. You will be prompted for a tip if you pay with a card. This after paying a LOT for a non-gourmet but not untasty all-beef dog. Also, half my free grilled onions were approaching burnt. For comparison, I could have gotten as much cheese and substantially more chili on a polish sausage in a pretzel bun at Weinerschnitzel for under $5 after tax. For $14 I could feed two there. I got three vegan sliders at Buzzmill this Monday for that much money, including table service. What you are paying for is convenience, time, and saving your spot in a large mall with limited parking and impressive traffic on holidays (Franky's only sets up shop when higher mall traffic is predicted). Perhaps you want to avoid a public meltdown with your partner or child. You get to decide if it's worth it. Love to the upbeat hot dog dude. I tipped bc I doubt much of the markup makes its way into *his* pocket, and it's not table service but outside the onions he did his job well.

Both my daughter and I were super hungry and thirsty. She told me on the way in, she wanted In and Out so I told her we will share a hot dog and get us a big ass drink of lemonade. The combo was a little over $10 bucks with unlimited refills on the lemonade. I didn't think that was a bad deal at all. My half of the jumbo beef hots dogs had onions and my daughter side had chili cheese. We inhaled in and it hit the spot for us to continue shopping. Not bad for an afternoon snack!
