The latte I ordered was fine. The pastry, however, was so old and dry. They should have pitched it out days ago. And microwaving stale pastry doesn't make it fresh but just warm and stale! Also the staff didn't keep their face masks on or insist that customers keep their facemasks on until they were at their tables. A guy came into the place without a mask and remained at the counter most of the time I was there. I felt sufficiently uncomfortable that I left. And I won't be back. read more

Went in there after small cakes right next to it and just because I needed the bathroom so I offered to buy a drink. Asked for a coffee, the unprofessionalism was real. They were confused for some reason. Confused that I was there ? I don't know ! I asked for chai tea they said oh we have a latte I said no a tea bag tea. They said they didn't have it. So I ordered a coffee . It came cold and disgusting. The coffee was cold , I asked for sugar and cream and it was the worst most watery coffee ever. The coffee WAS COLD? Not even cold brew but like a here I don't care about you type of cold. Worst service ever especially since it's a coffee place ! How does that even happen? I also went there a month prior for a latte it was over priced and disgusting as well! If your going to sell something- get it right ! If your going to make it expensive make sure you hire people who Can make expensive drinks. It's simple really it's the least you can do. read more

This place is amazing! I got the electric lemonade and my fiancé had the billy. OH MY GOSH! SO MUCH YUM!!! My sister also had the math aches green tea latte! The owner is so knowledgeable about the drinks and it's really nice to have someone like him rather than another stick up barista working at a corporation. Review is purely based on customer service and community standards. Has nothing to do with the product provided inside this business. An employee of this business (seemed like a bus boy) confronted me and my child in the parking at 7a (this business was not even open yet). This employee was a complete jerk about my car being parked in a spot that was reserved for pick ups. The very small sign which is not a temporary / moveable sign was either not there when i pulled in or i did not notice it. However at 6:50a ish when i stopped in to pick up an order at a business next door (that was actually open) there were only 3 or 4 cars in the lot and plenty of spots so no business was impacted by lack of parking. I was encountered by this person in front of my car when i was leaving in a not so friendly way (rude person.) i guess he felt a lesson needed to be made about the precious spot. Normal customer service people would have realized that this was a non issue ( they had not even opened, plenty of open spots and I was leaving the spot). and let this go but not this bus boy. He had to make a point and address this major violation. When asked why he was gesturing to me he let me know about this parking violation (again as i was pulling out of the spot.) I said i did not see the sign when i parked 5mins earlier and highlight that no one was waiting for a spot or even at the business he works at. He proceeded to escalate the situation and to even call me a Jackass and use another hand gesture. Only positive was my 13 yr old daughter found him to be very entertaining since after escalating a non issue that did not need to be made into an issue and then use colorful language and a hand gestures he said "that i was not being a good role model for my child." Well i may have not been a perfect role model but the bus boy showed my daughter exactly how not behave so that is a positive outcome of this bad behavior. They may have great coffee here but wow at least one employee is passionate about parking spots. My family will pass going here in the future. BIG WARNING: Don't Park in the pick up spot or grumpy clean up guy will let you know. read more

Ahwatukee doesn't have a lot of spots for specialty coffee. Once I learned that "The Buzzed Goat" was set to open locally, I was very excited. Ever since, I probably stop in about twice a week for coffee. Their product is very flavorful where you can completely taste the difference from regular franchised shops, and gives off a friendly vibe, as well as welcomes you as you walk in to let you know your business is thanked. read more

The cold brew is so good. I had "The V", sweetened condensed milk in cold brew. Finally a quality coffee house in Ahwatukee. I used to go to Gilbert if I wanted a place that had sweetened condensed milk. Will be going back. There's bar seating with a tv that adds a nice stay and hangout feel. read more

Went to the one off Ray Road. I tried the basic cold brew and seemed watered down. The other person who went with me got the electric lemonade which was just powder and lemonade. It was average. Loud music with several employees (4) just hanging around making TikToks. Not a space to study or have the coffee place atmosphere. May try the other location in the future. read more

Great service here. They take care of their customers. I have been stopping in from time to time to catch up on work during my lunch break. While seating feels a bit limited, there always seems to be space to sit. There is a large back room area that may serve a better purpose in the future, but for now all is good. Today, I came in for the first time in a while and ordered my usual iced double dirty chai. The girl who made it was very polite and efficient. My first sip was meh. The chai had changed. I took a look at the bottles on the fridge for the familiar Maya Chai. Nope. Gone. Well shoot. I was pretty disappointed, but kept it to myself. As luck would have it, a minute later the owner walks in with a fresh bottle of Maya. I exclaimed my excitement and the owner said it has been back ordered for a while. They asked if the one I had was okay and I told them it was meh. He said they would make me a new one with the Maya Chai, for no charge. Awesome! Thank you for taking care of me! read more

The staff was super nice, but a little overworked on a Saturday morning. There was a bit of a wait. The barista was super nice and took time explaining the menu. They even made an off-menu drink for my husband. Sadly, the coffee left much to be desired. It just wasn't good. My latte tasted bitter and watered down. My husband liked his okay, but it had a LOT of sugar in it to mask the taste. I ended up throwing mine away and making coffee at home. Can't say anything about the product except that they didn't have one. This cozy little shop is hidden on the interior of a small strip mall in mid-Ahwatukee. Strategic location given the proximity to SmallCakes three doors down. Cool decor, clean and friendly. Downside: No Decaf. None. Nada. For some of us, decaf isn't an option, its a requirement. Even Starbucks is able to make a decaf espresso, throw a pint of creamer into it, and call it an Americano. Ditto with Dutch Brothers. Newsflash - those places are your competition, and they are each a mile away. Second newsflash - whole bean coffee in a bag that allows for degassing can be safely stored in a freezer for up to 6 months without a loss in quality. Better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. Just sayin. read more
