Lovely spot for brunch with friends!…read more The decor is modern, clean and inviting with a hipster vibe. If that's your thing, you'll love it here! It's just a 4 minute walk from Exit D, Jordan MTR station- convenient for anyone who's around TST. MUST-TRY: signature toast with nine homemade jams ($48)! This is a great way to sample their homemade jams, which they sell in jars for $48-68 HKD each. The toast is very crisp and the jams are bomb. My favorite is the lychee one! My foodie friend got the full English breakfast and said it was great. I didn't try it so I can't give my opinion but he gives his seal of approval and recommends. PASS: Pastas and risottos probably aren't the best thing to order here. Risotto is a hit or miss dish for me- I got a pumpkin risotto and the flavor was fine but it was overcooked and too mushy for my liking. Just keep in mind that they specialize in breakfast/brunch items and stick to those dishes. All in all, worth trying out. I recommend Let's Jam if you're a brunch lover!

My breakfast cost less than yesterday's latte. I ordered breakfast #5 which was toast with fruit and yogurt and included coffee. I didn't realize the fruit and yogurt would be on the toast, but it was good and as a bit of a coffee fuss budget, the coffee was fantastic. It was a delightful start to the day and I am pretty sure I will repeat the visit tomorrow morning.

It was dead empty except for two other tables (one with two tourists and the other with a local man...I assume). Two other tourists sat down during my brunch but read the menu and left. I ordered the waffles with ham and it came with a side salad. The food was OK. It was an HK take on western food and the waffles came plain with no topping so it was a little bit dry for my North American palette. Towards the end of my meal I discovered a live slug in my salad. I flagged the waitress to ask for the bill (because I was NOT going to continue eating) and showed her the slug. She said "oh sorry" but that was about it. She did not offer any kind of compensation and brought me the full bill with no further explanation or apology for the slug. It was like it didn't happen. As mentioned before this place was empty for brunch. However, in the late, late afternoon/early evenings I noticed it would be packed. Perhaps this place is better for coffee and dessert. One other thing to mention is they have free wifi but when you ask for the password they won't give it to you. They will insist they enter it on your phone themselves. I don't generally like strangers touching my phone because I don't know what they may do. I guess they have never thought of changing the wifi password daily... Tip: Don't sit next to the plants. It's fruit fly city.

My SIL insisted I try the restaurant. So glad I did. Love the decor with such an Urban feel. Bikes, tires, and road signs. Clean and modern throughout. I was captivated by their desserts. From the syringe injecting into a Bloody Berry cake to these color dusted cakes with various flavors. Wow, can we say croissant galore. How can you turn down a chocolate dipped croissant or one that is something called creme brulee? Okay, onto their real food. The slow roasted chicken came highly recommended as was the fish and chips. I also wanted to try the gwei miu salmon with a watercress risotto. They also needed to add they garnish the salmon dish with baby arugula. Hello! No need to say more. Sold! The chicken was juicy (brinded almost), full of flavor. The fish and chips had an amazing color on the fry, awesome beer battered flavored, and chunks of fish with every bite. It was over like an olive tapinade tartar sauce, which I couldn't get enough of. The risotto was perfectly cooked, which is hard to do. It was loaded with butter and cheese. Aside from its green color, it was hard to tell it was watercress. The salmon was also perfectly cooked and juicy. My only regret was that I ate too much and didn't save room for their desserts. Next time, for sure. Definitely be back and will be taking the Hubs here when he returns.

My favorites are the almond croissant, bo luo (pineapple bun topping) croissant, and the molten egg custard croissant.

When I saw the word 'brekkie', I immediately thought of Australia - it means 'breakfast' in their lingo. I'm thinking this cafe is possibly be Australian inspired :) This dish was prepared by the lady behind the counter with a small portable stove. I can feel the love as she delicately prepares this for us! We also ordered the Lavender Latte and the Matcha Magic. What is a Matcha Magic you ask? It is a Matcha Latte with a shot of espresso! Perfect for those who loves Matcha but also needed that caffeine boost lol. The Lavender Latte, surprisingly, does not have the usual overpowering lavender kick... it was very light and soothing. Recommendation: Would Why50 consider making a Lavender Mocha? ^^ Chocolate actually goes well together with the lavender taste ;) Keep up the great work!

They have many unique flavors like earl grey tea, matcha, and peanut butter! They also have the original buttermilk and chocolate. You also have a choice of your fruit toppings and sauce. My friend and I had the earl grey pancakes topped with fruit and classic maple syrup. The pancakes are thick like Japanese style hotcakes and they are pretty fluffy as well. The earl grey didn't really taste a lot different from regular pancakes to me although it did have a faint tea flavor and was less sweet than regular buttermilk pancakes. We also had the toast and egg combo was which pretty average but not bad. The smoothies and coffee here are also pretty good, but again nothing special. Personally, I would probably only come here for the pancakes. Prices range about 100hkd a person and a little more if you order drinks.

You order and pay at the counter and you receive a transponder when your food is ready for pick up. The menu is in the form of a photo album and some are hand written with pictures. Two of us ordered the potato salad and early grey pancakes with Nutella, bananas and strawberries to share along with a soda and a refresher smooth (green apple, cucumber, mint). The Earl grey pancakes came out more like thick pan cakes stacked on top of each other with Nutella in between them. These aren't really the fluffy pancakes which I was expecting as its dense and more like a cake. The two of us couldn't finish the huge stack but one girl next to us finished the whole stack by herself! The soda and smoothie tasted very blend and was sure no sugar was added. The service was good and the menu is thoughtfully put together but I would hope to taste some fluffier pancakes in the future.

Not long after I got in, 8:55 AM on Sunday, people started coming in droves. In fact, 15 minutes after I arrived, the place was almost full. For my breakfast, I ordered an iced green tea and the Eggs, Chorizo, Avocado and Toast. The eggs were perfectly poached and matched well with the salty chorizo. The avocados were also a nice touch. As for the tea, although I was not wowed, the presentation was quite good. On my first trio here, I also had the fortune of trying the latte which was very good. I would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast.

This avocado toast experience really killed and surpassed my last avocado toast experience (Montauk…read more- you'll have to read my review for reference). I loveeee avocados in all forms....in tortilla soup, fried, sliced in burgers, homemade guac dip, and straight from a raw cut half sprinkled with sea salt. Just throw them at my face. I'll eat it. So I loved the combination of avocado diced with almonds, alfalfa sprouts, thinly sliced radish, and whatever else magic was on there. All that covered over one piece of sliced bread. The other slice had a perfect poached egg. A bite of egg and a forkful of avocado mix was just scrumptious. I will have to recreate that at home. Iced soy vanilla latte was dynamite! I think it kept me up while adjusting to time change since it was day 2 of traveling. Lastly, had to go with a take away dessert. The buttery baked fig dessert was gone in 4 bites. It was a little on the dry side. But I saw potential in the making....beautiful piece of baked good.
