What made the situation worse was the manager's attitude when I brought the issue to their attention. Rather than taking responsibility and professionally resolving the mistake, the interaction came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Mistakes happen, but management should know how to handle them. A manager representing the restaurant should be able to communicate respectfully, take accountability, and make sure customers receive what they paid for. This manager clearly needs additional training in customer service and management. I would expect much better from a manager and from Denny's. I hope management reviews what happened and addresses the lack of professionalism.
