today I visited Jack in the box in Seaside on Fremont Street address 1533 Fremont St. as I walk in I hold a door for the gentleman behind me I walk up to the counter she helps the gentleman behind me I thought that was pretty rude so I show her the flyer I got in the mail couple days ago And would like to purchase two Jumbo jacks for five dollars she proceeded to tell me it was 698. This particular location100% SUCKS and it's due 100% to the employees. The bags are sealed and all the correct items are checked off - but you don't receive a correct order. I think I've had maybe one correct order in 10-12 received. I almost wonder if it's deliberate - entertainment for the brain dead employees. The latest? Ordered a new breakfast scramble and received a double bacon burger with nothing but meat - no lettuce, tomato, etc. WTF?! Also ordered two tacos and they were just left out of the bags. I'm from out of town driving thru, and this is one of the cleanest Jack-n-the-Box I've seen. Then again I haven't been to a Jack-n-the-Box in years. I was assisted right away by Kevin. NOPE!!! This particular location needs better management. Somehow, someway, they seem to always take forever to get anything out. In addition, what they give you is either burnt, cold, or simply tastes bad. And sometimes you're treated to all 3 at once. Their food doesn't even taste like Jack in the Box. This place is a mess. I work at another Jack in the box and I can tell you the speed for online orders was in the 3 min range. The only thing is the lettuce for the chicken was expired, and there wasn't mayo on top and bottom for the chicken sandwiches everything else was good. Employees were real nice too. read more

The woman who took our order made it seem like she would rather be doing absolutely anything except working there. Not one word at the window. An eye roll for anything that I asked for (the sauces). We stopped here last night to grab an oreo shake to share. It was so good we decided to come back again tonight for another oreo shake since we're here on vacation. When I went through the drive thru they said they didn't have milkshakes today. Big bummer! But I went ahead and ordered dinner anyway. I ordered 4 tacos, the large jalapeño poppers and their chili cheese curly fries. When I got back to my hotel I found onion rings instead of the jalapeño poppers I ordered and paid for. So I called the store to tell them what happened. Someone named Frida answered, when I told her that I had just come through the drive thru and that I had ordered jalapeño poppers but was given onion rings she just said "ok". I waited for her to say something else and she didn't. So I said, ok what? She then said. " You can come back and get your jalapeño poppers". They didn't have the milkshake I originally came there for so I asked, do you have jalapeño poppers? And she said " yes, you can bring back the onion rings and we'll give you the jalapeño poppers". In the most monotone, annoyed voice mind you. She never apologized, she sounded bothered by my call, she didn't offer to comp anything. And frankly with her ugly attitude I was concerned she might spit in my food or do something nasty. I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. How terrible! Someone with that awful customer service is in charge?? I will never eat at this Jack in the Box ever again, and in my opinion Frida should find somewhere else to work where she doesn't have to interact with customers. read more

My biggest value in life is to use time to its fullest and to have people never waste my time, which is exactly what happened at this location one day ago. I arrived at this 24 hour drive thru around 1 am and waited for twenty minutes for the line to move up. After this, a worker ran out of the building and informed each car that they are not taking any more orders, only Uber eats. From her consistent eye rolling to her literally screaming as she walked away, I began to feel this journey to find a yummy meal would not be completed. So unprofessional and a waste of time. I told her in a second. I called my uncle (he speaks Spanish) to verify my order.. and in the middle of my conversation she yells at me saying speak English lady. I told I know I'm on the phone one second. She then responds don't yell at me. I told her like wise I don't like to be yelled at. Never had I been treated like this. For my carb day today, I decided I wanted a nostalgic favorite... The sourdough Jack. I was in Marina so I stopped for the first time at the Marina Jack-in-the-Box location and... They messed up my order. Of course, I didn't realize it until I got back to Seaside so in desperation to save my 1/2 carb day a week... I pulled into the Seaside Fremont Street location and ask them if they would fix the Marina mess up. I'm so lucky they did! I have never had issues here... today Ury saved the day! We came to try the new brunch scramble. It was just ok. The sausage had a good maple flavor but the potatoes were really lacking, they tasted like they were boiled then heated in the microwave. Not fried no crunch at all. This meal would be better with hash browns. You get a good serving of scrambled eggs and cheese but they had no seasoning at all neither did the potatoes. Pretty bland. Abolsutely disgusting. There was a special of "festivities boxes" and I decided I wanted to try a guacamole bacon one. To my surprise when I got home, what I received was completely different. I got a sandwich that was drenched in either mayo or ranch, maybe both. And by drenched I mean it was everywhere, on every single layer, and I really have no clue what it was. There really needs to be negative stars or zero star rating. The service here and food quality have continually dimished. Even at slow tumes...going through the drive through is hit or miss with how long you'll wait. Often I wonder if its 1 employee running the whole show. deserves zero star. the worst service ever receieved from anywhere ever. we been waiting at jack for close to an hour for our order, we were told to park out front. it was dead at 3am. only 1 or 2 cars ahead of us. we waited so long only to pull up to the window and have them ask us if we were waiting for our oder. the manager asked us what our order was and told us she would make us two. after we told her the order again she asked again what the order was. when we finally got the order close to an hour later it was missing items. service aside, this behavior is very concerning. staff looked confused and dazed, i don't mean to assume but it seems like they weren't mentally present. read more

Food is ok, the employees are nice however not the best Jack in the Box in my opinion. Orders can be hit or miss and lot of times anything fried comes out over cooked and hard. The Ice Tea is awful and definitely not the Gold Peak Tea I know, although almost every Jack in the Box has bad ice tea. In a nutshell the ice tea here tastes like sewage mixed with chemicals, tea and coffee. All the beverages especially the water on tap, tastes over chlorinated and has a weird aftertaste. It would be great if they installed a filter to address that issue... Bottled water is the safest drink option here. Restrooms are not the cleanest and one didn't even have a lock the last time I went inside. Overall if you need a quick bite to eat and are craving breakfast at 3am then this place is great... If you want quality fast food, drive a short distance down Fremont and go to Wendy's where they actually know how to brew ice tea the right way! read more

Something is seriously wrong with their soda machine. I've been getting a meal here like once a week for the past couple months... the soda tastes like there's a chemical in it, can't comprehend what the taste is, surely isn't rootbeer!
