We went into today and we were told that the pizza oven had been down for more than a month. They did know when it would be fixed. That was a bummer because I loved their pizza. We ordered sandwiches and soups. They had tasted much better in the past. We also asked for water. On the way to our table, I just added a splash of lemonade to my water. After sitting down, the cashier awkwardly came to our table and asked that I return to the register and pay for the drink. I did because I was in the wrong. I also understood the cashier's predicament because the manager was eyeing everything behind the food line without any attempt at verbal communication. We were the only customers in the place. I returned to the register and paid for the drink. I probably won't return to this location. I am hoping the other locations are better run than the Irving location.

Based on the description and the price, I expected it to be a decent meal and a good overall value. However, once I received my order, I could already tell that most of it was old and inedible. After throwing away the brown lettuce, it was obvious the ingredients were not fresh, and the quality was nowhere near worth the price. It explains why they stuff the ingredients into bread and drown them in dressing--you can't see what they're serving paying customers. I will not order from them again or recommend them for delivery.

I've been to this location before, and during this visit I jokingly mentioned that the last time my sandwich was a little light on toppings and asked if I could get a little extra. Instead of responding politely, an employee named Rose' became argumentative and told me I needed to "take it up with corporate." He even commented that the food "must be good because you came back." There was absolutely no reason to argue with a customer over a simple request. If he wasn't authorized to provide extra toppings, a polite explanation or asking a manager to step in would have been the appropriate response. Instead, he came across as arrogant, dismissive, and unprofessional. What makes this even more frustrating is that the rest of the staff at the MacArthur Las Colinas location was friendly, courteous, and genuinely willing to accommodate customers. They provided excellent customer service and deserve recognition for it. Hopefully, Rose' can learn from his coworkers, because his behavior did not reflect the standard the rest of the team set. Customer service is just as important as the food, and no customer should be made to feel like they're being scolded for making a simple request.
