I ordered: Classic Burger - Double patty, American cheese, pickles, onion, ketchup, mustard. A textbook smashburger with crispy edges, juicy patties, and a soft, pillowy bun. Tallow Fries - Golden, crispy, and indulgent. Like fries got promoted to main character energy. It was honestly the exact meal I needed -- no notes. I left full, happy, and ready for a nap (which I 100% took when I got home). If you're in the area, hitting both C Burger and Sanitas Brewing Co. is the move. Can't wait to go back.

We finally needed their help so they reluctantly came over to help us. I put in my order and couldn't believe the price but figured it's gotta be good. Our food I could see was ready so I went up there and it was just sitting there on the counter, waiting for somebody to pick it up, but never was told to come get it. First bite of the burger was cold, I don't know how that could happen when They just made it. The cheese wasn't even melted. I'm guessing that they pre-cook the burgers and then maybe just heat them back up. It was very dry. The fries were such a big disappointment couple squirts of sour cream and maybe one slice of cheese which I paid over $10 for. I had to interact with the person one more time and again they were just snarky. Everything about the places, uncomfortable from the seats to the employee.

I had the hamburger, and it was really good--juicy, flavorful, and satisfying! But the real showstopper was the Italian meatball with Bolognese sauce and macaroni and cheese. Absolutely TO DIE FOR! The combination was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. If you're a fan of Italian comfort food, this is definitely something you need to try. It's wonderful to see a local spot celebrating eight years, and the food gave me a great reason to celebrate right along with them. Whether you're craving a good burger or delicious, hearty meatballs, this place deserves a visit. Congratulations on eight years, and here's to many more!

I'm no stranger to dive bars, but the rest of my family was not very comfortable. So I'd say this is not a family-friendly establishment. Service was unreasonably slow for how unbusy they were. And I don't need to describe ambiance further because dive bars are dive bars. The food itself was supremely disappointing. People rave about these burgers? I feel incredibly lied to. They were pretty bad. I can taste when meat is low quality, and this is it. It's like finding the lowest quality frozen ground beef patties on manager special at Walmart. You're not going to get sick from it, but you're also not going to have the best meal. It just blows my mind that anyone would call these burgers good. Especially when there are plenty of decent burger places in Denver.

First of all, Mindy was my bartender and gave me flawless service, along with a great smile and background stories of the place and the patrons. She made my visit so much better. There wasn't any background music during my visit, but one could listen to Billy's (regular/legend in town) stories all day long. He chatted with a bunch of people who just came up to his table, and talked with Nancy at the bar in between. Small town charm at its best. Lots of topping sauces, but you didn't really need it for the burger. Great as it was, and I ordered the double. Option for pickles and onions that come on the side. They had Voodoo Ranger in the bottle for me also. I got the whole lowdown of the four owners of the place over 78 years (the present one even stopped by), and, if I wasn't told by Mindy, there is history ALL over the walls. Cool bar setup, with a good-sized dining room. The place was like a merging of a diner and a small town bar, and was absolutely perfect. Don't forget. No French fries offered, and cash only! The next time I head to Colorado Springs, I might have to change my way down or back up to get this thing again, and experience the place again. The burger was incredible, I highly recommend the place overall, and see you there...

It was busy, which tracks for a place that's been a fixture in town since 1948. 78 years of doing the same thing. The menu is short. It's a hamburger. You choose one patty or two, and whether you want cheese. That's the whole decision tree. There are no fries; everything comes with a bag of chips. I respect a place that knows exactly what it is and doesn't pretend otherwise. Prices are reasonable. $9.25 for a double cheeseburger is hard to argue with in 2026. Bring cash, though. They don't take cards. The burger tastes like something you'd make yourself at a backyard grilling party. Nothing fancy about it. Nothing wrong with it either. Taken on its own, the food is a solid 3 star effort. But 3 star food doesn't mean I wouldn't come back. Bud's isn't really selling you a burger, it's selling you a burger at Bud's, and after a morning on the trail that's a pretty good deal. Would come back.

I love huckleberry and will always get it if available and this did not lead me astray. We started with crab dip which was a hit even with our baby. For the mains, my husband got the meatloaf platter and was obsessed. I had their specialty burger (a mix of beef and elk) that included arugula, goat cheese, jam and some onions - also top notch. To finish things off we got chocolate raspberry cheesecake and... Wow. Delectable. If it's not obvious, the food here is epic and I love the concept and theme. To make matters worse, breakfast for two, along with two mimosas made with old-tasting orange juice, came to $79 before tip. The quality of the food and drinks wasn't even close to justifying the price.
