This was, without a doubt, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The food was so bad that they should be paying customers to eat there--and even then, I'm not sure anyone would come back for a second visit. I ordered the chicken pot pie, a dish that seems nearly impossible to ruin. Unfortunately, it arrived extremely dry, with almost no filling. What little liquid was in it looked more like dirty dishwater than a savory sauce. It was completely unappetizing and tasted just as bad as it looked. To make matters worse, breakfast for two, along with two mimosas made with old-tasting orange juice, came to $79 before tip. The quality of the food and drinks wasn't even close to justifying the price. I've eaten at plenty of restaurants over the years, but this was easily the most disappointing meal I've ever been served. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Atomic Cowboy - The dumpster their food belongs in. - Pizza Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

I stopped by Atomic Cowboy for lunch--normally I come here for breakfast and have had great experiences in the past. This visit felt like an off day. It looked like they only had one server handling tables, and she did the best she could under the circumstances. After ordering, it took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match what I've had before--the biscuit pot pie tasted overcooked. The wait for the check was also long, and when it finally came, it was the wrong ticket. Hoping this was just a rough day for the team, because I've definitely had better visits here before. read more

We come here all the time as it's 5 minutes away. We typically get the Franklin biscuit but have branched off on others. That is hands down our favorite and it tastes great! I will say though that sometimes it is overcooked or you get a pretty small piece of chicken. The burger is pretty good that they offer but it does kind of lack flavor a bit and the patty itself could use more seasoning. We have yet to try the pizza here so I can't speak on that part of the menu. Service is patchy here I will say though. We have had waiters and waitresses that either love their job or hate it and the service quality shows. They do have several tvs in here so you can see one no matter what direction you face and they do usually have one with kids cartoons which is nice for those with kids! I do really like this place and will keep coming back! read more

Good pizza and good service when you sit down. However, when you order online for pick up I can't tell you how many times it has said your order will be ready at X only for it to be ready 20-30 mins after said pickup time. It's okay if it takes longer but I don't want to wait at the restaurant. Please fix your pickup estimates. read more

Amazing brunch in the Centennial area; the waiting time to get a table can be a little long on a weekend, but it's totally worth it. I recommend getting the 'Biscuits and gravy' smothered in both homemade sausage gravy and vegetarian mushroom gravy. Their mushroom gravy and sausage patties are very tasty, big portions even for the hash brown patties. Place can get loud, with a very funky and hectic atmosphere, but we were happy with the fast and attentive staff and service. read more

Given that it was Mother's Day and my wife doesn't have much patience, we ordered take out from Fat Sully's. Went with one of their manhole sized pizzas, chicken fingers for the kids, and some appetizers and everything was great. The pizza is the highlight of the Atomic Cowboy and with their roasted green peppers and garlic, the entire pie went down in one sitting. Their house salads are solid and traveled well in our takeout bag. Could have gone without the garlic parm fries as there was not really much to them. They have a large covered outdoor seating area, a bar area, and a couple bags setup outside so a good place to grab a drink. read more

We have been going since we found this place after it opened. It is a great location and has a menu that suits all tastes and a full bar. They have serve-yourself coffee while you wait if there is a line on the weekends. The beers on tap are great and there is lots of variety and the drinks have never disappointed. We have tasted through the whole menu and not found a single thing that we did not love! Great for kids with TVs on and cartoons as well as sports. Lots of seating and very friendly servers! read more

Atomic Cowboy doesn't serve pizza slices, they serve pizza surfboards. One slice could feed me, my friend, and probably a small village. Absolutely delicious, dangerously cheesy, and the service was so good I almost offered to help wash dishes just to hang out longer. 10/10, would risk carb overload again. read more

pretty decent Atomic Cowboy location. we went around mid afternoon since we were craving biscuits. we were seated near the window, and since it was a colder day, the air flow was pretty chilly in the area. I got the Cubano, and it was decently sized for the $14. the garlic biscuit could have been better prepared and the mojo/mustard could have been spread more evenly but taste was decent. it was a bit dry and it came assembled that made it had to eat, so I did have to deconstruct it. overall, not bad. read more

First time I have ever started a review while at the restaurant. Apparently the computerized order system is down and although the kitchen is fine, they can't seem to write down an order and hand it to the cooks. My guess is they are concerned about being able to run our credit card after the meal and are afraid if the feed us too soon because if the system is still down when we are done we might dine and dash. Our server Jordan (who is great) did keep us updated, but since the stoves, ovens and fryers were still up they should have brought out some sort of appetizer all of us while we waited. Finally we were served. The food was great; love the hash browns! The patio, even though it is in the middle of a parking lot, is very nice. They have lots of greenery around it so it doesn't feel quite so paved. So, great meal as usual, but they could have done a better job with the many customers Who were waiting for food. But that's not on the servers it's on the management. I realize they have no control over the computers/network but maybe they should think about a better plan in case this happens again in the future. read more

Stopped by here since it was close to the hotel I was staying at and I'm glad that I did! Atomic Cowboy's fun atmosphere (which was festively decorated for the winter holidays) and friendly service didn't disappoint. Like other locations, they offer multiple "concepts" to experience - with a breakfast biscuit place in the morning before switching over to pizza and burgers in the evening. Would highly recommend! read more

This is a combination restaurant which is primarily a Denver Biscuit Company. The menu of non -DBC food is pretty small. I unfortunately didn't have a great experience. They had a 45 minute wait time which was not an issue for us. However what did become an issue was their inability to manage that wait list. The restaurant was never more than 50% seated and they continued to sit people who had shown up and put their names in after patrons who had been waiting over an hour. When this was brought get up to the hostess she simply stated they were short staffed and they were having trouble keeping up. Which again would be fine if they sat people in the correct order (for context I had a party of 2) Once we finally sat at the bar area we knew what we wanted to order. I asked for the burger but indicated I either would like the onions grilled or omitted (I was fine with either) I was told they don't make modifications to their food usually. Not grilling the onions I get but refusing to omit them I still fail to understand. I could pick them off myself but it's just a waste of food. The burger tasted great and I'd like to go back but with this level of service it is unlikely I will. TL:DR some of the worst service in Denver, but good food read more

We decided to go to the Denver Biscuit Co. They a pretty diverse menu for breakfast. They share the space with a pizza shop. I ordered the Franklin which is a biscuit with Buttermilk fried chicken, Tenderbelly bacon, cheddar cheese and house made sausage gravy on top. The chicken was nice and moist on the inside and a crispy flavorful crust. The bacon is cooked perfectly making it a nice bite. Spread a fair amount of cheddar cheese and put a good helping of a sausage gravy on it and you have nothing but YUMMY all over your face. The best thing to me was definitely the biscuit. OMG!!! This was easily one of the best biscuits I have ever had. Our server was Stephanie and she checked in regularly to ensure everything was good. Just watching the rest of the restaurant, all the staff was phenomenal. Especially the guy that delivered the majority of the food in the restaurant. Wore glasses and a hat. Dude ROCKED!!! read more

I went solo for breakfast, sat at the bar & the bartender was eager & helpful. Great selection on the menu & a coffee bar for self service. I ent with the Three Run. Double which was a huge biscuit with a honey butter & also a strawberry jam, 2 eggs any style and your choice of bacon, sausage or ham steak. Food came very quick, hot & ready to eat! Everything was very good & I could watch sports on the large flatscreen above the bar. I went to AC/DBC around 10:30 am, on a Thursday and the bar had a couple of empties or I could have gotten a small booth or sat outside. Bottom line, you won't be disappointed with AC/DBC, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner! read more

We wanted a casual sit down place to have a bite to eat with family and found this place on Yelp. The place is nicely decorated and our server who looked like Dana Perino was very nice. The burger however left a lot to be desired and just didn't do it, it was dry and flavorless. The thing that saved the day was the fully loaded knots, this was great with the fondue dipping really worked well however that was just an appetizer. Perhaps their pizza is better but we will never know.. read more

How this place has a 3.6/5 rating is beyond me. The Franklin with half mushroom gravy and half sausage gravy is as one of the best breakfast items I've ever had. The bacon was thick and perfect. The chicken was moist. The kids thought the chicken was some of the best they've ever had. Wish we had a Denver Biscuit Co in Oklahoma! I think Atomic Cowboy could be okay but just wanted a beer. 8$ for the beer and they charge tax, not sure why. Cost of beer with tax 8.54. Add a 1$ tip and you are near 10 bucks for a draft beer. What do you think? read more

Arrived happy, left mad. Food is amateur. Example; Two side orders of bacon, both burned so bad that it looked like ashes from a fireplace. I complained to our waitress (Scream shirt) who asked if I wanted a box for our ash-like bacon, instead of apologizing or taking it off the bill. Apparently this is par for the course at Atomic Cowboy. Waitress needs an attitude adjustment as well; unfriendly like a wet, stinky sock. Not coming back. read more

Such a fun place if you are into the retro experience!! I search for Denver biscuit Company in my GPS because we are from out of town & needed a brunch place. It took me to this place and I was very confused for a minute. After reading other yelp reviews, thank you very much, I learned this is a spinoff restaurant of theirs. I am a vintage girl and I absolutely love the decor. Beautiful day so the garage doors were open to let the outside air in food was delicious as usual and the breakfast drinks (spiked) were fabulous. What made me happy? The Service was great. The way you could "adjust" the table a bit, even though it is a booth, made me very comfortable. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. The biscuits were amazing. They were moist and the perfect texture and quite large. The gravy, however, was very disappointing. It only had two tiny sausage crumbles on the whole plate. The gravy was not classic country style creamy gravy. It was an odd color, almost like grandma's old red eye gravy. But I had a hard time discerning any flavor because it had waaay too much pepper on it. I was sad about that. I was also sad about the Bloody Mary. I rarely have a drink, but I thought it might be nice. It was too peppery also. I couldn't even taste that it had tomato juice in it. And there was an odd spice on the rim. Again, I was sad. The hash brows were the same as Arby's potato cakes. They were good, but not special. I should have known by the name, "atomic" cowboy, that everything would be over peppered. That will teach me. I won't go back. I'm sad. Good biscuits, though. read more
