Great customer service, all employees had a smile and no one was standing around. The fries were noticeably fried in clean grease, unlike the regular jack in the box or Carl's Jr. The sauce to chicken ratio was perfect. The price is reasonable and the portion is very filling. read more

A truly deserved 5 star review. The first time I went in I wasn't impressed, I like my wings crunchy and spicy af and bone in! Wasn't spicy at all. I went back in and was helped by a absolutely delightful lady who gave me a better idea on what she thinks would satisfy me, now it wasn't my level of spicy but the food was so absolutely delicious it didn't matter. Buffalo fries where do good I couldn't believe it. I went back today and got the salad and was just as impressed! read more

So my hubby and I decided to head over to the Buffalo Spot because of Groupon deal he [my husband] had gotten - $12 for $20. Not a bad deal! Okay, so here's my breakdown (per my usual), since I believe an eating experience doesn't lie merely in the food itself, but also the service, ambiance, etc. etc. Ambiance: it's a wing joint. who needs it to be fancy? Not me, that's for sure. This eatery is small in size, but clean so A-ok with me Service: This is the main reason I gave this place 3 stars. They could use some better service. Again, it's a wing joint so I don't expect some 5-star service, but I mean c'mon be a little more attentive to your customers. Also, something that may not be in any of the employees' hands (or could be), practically all the sodas were out of order. I tried to get Dr. Pepper and clear liquid came out! I asked to see if they had any, and NOTHING. Our options were water, another soda i can't recall (maybe diet coke), and orange soda. Everything else was flagged...even both iced teas! Food: My husband ordered the buffalo wings with cajun sauce and I ordered the 5 wing combo (I put up a picture), which came with 5 bone-in wings, carrots and celery, and a soda (slightly over $7 for mine). As for the sauce, it was a little more on the sweet side, but had a good amount of a "kick" to it, which was good. I felt the sauce could be better, but the wings were cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside and moist inside. It was good. Oh yes! Before I forget, I also ordered a side of mac n cheese (I can eat mac n cheese all day, everyday!). I wish I put up a picture of the mac n cheese because it was not impressive AT ALL. Here in lies another reason of why my rating was stellar for this place. I like the fact that the mac had some black pepper in it but it was dry and stuck together. There was no goo factor to it *thumbs down*. Overall, not a bad place to grab some wings, but I've had better. It's good to try at least once if you're in the area. Happy eating! read more

Tried this place out right before it closed and it was really poppin'. The inside was very hip and had lots of pictures of hip hop artists which gives it an urban feel. The menu offers a variety of items like wings, chicken tenders, ribs, salads, and wraps. I came here to try the buffalo fries and they had 15 different sauces to choose from. I got mild with the special sauce on top (they charge for ranch .55 cents for a small). I was really disappointed with the order because there was barely any sauce and the chicken was dry. If you're wondering, no the pictures aren't small the food is. Guess how much this cost me? 6.30$! I'm over here trying to check the bottom of the plate see if some wings got lost down there. The first picture is how it started the second one is after 2 bites.. 3 minutes later I'm done. Should've gone to Buffalo Wild Wings. Damn even subway. Shoot the taco guy down the street who wears no gloves would've been better. These portions are bad for the amount of money. Definitely not coming back until they increase the portion size. My Son and I tried 3 types of wings, they were just above average. I was expecting better. This is not to say they weren't good, but I expected mind-blowing flavor from what I heard from this spot. Good enough. I will return and re-review once I try the buffalo fries. Prices werent bad, Staff was quite friendly. Make sure you reserve a seat quick if there is one available. There arent enough seats, and there is always a line. Dont be surprised if someone just sits at your table if theres an empty seat. The locals in Compton are not shy, and in my experience; have no problem sitting at your table, asking you how your doing, and eating with you like youve known them for years. This place has started to go downhill. I called to place my order and they had me on hold for 10+ minutes. I decided to hang up and call again and they took my order right away! When I got to the restaurant I still had to wait for my food which is fine but I was waiting there for another 15 minutes and they just had my food sitting there for who knows how long. I had noticed it was there on the side but didn't think it was mine until they finally saw it there and gave it to me. read more

I get buffalo fries every time I come here; they're the absolute best! The place is clean and has a sports bar type of setting. It's really hip and fun. There's lots of young people as well as a mature crowd here eating and enjoying the culture of Compton. My only tip is for you to not come around 3pm on weekdays because there's a middle school just letting out for the day. Aside from the busy parking lot at this time there's also a bunch of kids ordering their after school snack. Who can blame them? The food's great! read more

This is probably my favorite spot for wings and fries when im in compton. I had to slide thru for the buffalo wing fries and a large drink real quick before making my next move. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and fellow yelpers. Definitely try the buffalo wing fries. Best service and food in the area. Get in before they close because they are not open late. The customer service here is horrible. I did my order online and requested curbside because I have a child . So I called to let them know I was there and she explain to me that my food was ready and then I had to explain to her that I requested curbside and she told me ok and NEVER bring my food out so I sat there for a couple of min to see was she going to bring it out and NOTHING so I had to call back and let her know I was still waiting on my food and she told me to hold on and never got back on the phone . Second time trying this place out. I order two buffalo fries, onion rings, ribs, and Chicken Caesar salad. Everything was ok, the reason I gave this place three stars is because the amount of chicken on my fries were like they were being greedy I got a decent amount of chicken on my medium buffalo fries, but my large fries was very little, which doesn't make sense since I'm paying $10 for a large. Poor customer service and the cashier is racist and catered to all Hispanic customers and didn't bother to ask me my name to see if my food is ready as she did the other customers. Not until I approached the counter was I asked my name as I am sure she saw the angry look on my face as to why I wasn't asked when everyone else was asked. The pieces of chicken were huge fresh and crispy. The macaroni salad was just right amount of mayo and seasoning. The peach cobbler was wrapped perfectly not damaging the crust. The banana pudding was a little watery not sure if that was due to the heat going on in the bag as everything was bagged together. My friend recommended the Buffalo Spot for lunch. When I came in I quickly noticed the music was humming to the beat, the lunch crowd was long almost at the entrance. I decided to try the Classic combo of 10 piece wings with a sweet & sour sauce. My order was taken by a very friendly cashier that recommended the wings. While I was waiting I noticed the big hefty plates other people had in their tables. When my order came I was very surprised of the taste. The wings were to dye for. they had a lot of meat and the sauce was just delicious. I also ordered the potato salad as a side. I immediately tasted a home made flavor, I asked the cashier and told me they make the salad "FRESH" it was very good. Since I was so surprised about the quality of the food I ordered some wings to go for my hubby. When I came home the wings were still warm I ordered the "Lemon/pepper sauce" my husband just devour those wings like it was his last meal. He was just as surprised as me and was very happy that we found a very friendly good price wings place. I can't wait to try the Buffalo fries and will post my review next week. I will recommend the place for a good lunch or dinner. It is very reasonable compare to other places and I liked that the manager came to my table and greet me in a very friendly manner. I wanted to try something different from the old and bad for you hamburgers. I saw a crowd from the street waiting at the Buffalo Spot and decided this must be a god place. Immediately I noticed a sign that said "Always Fresh" Talked to some people waiting in line and recommended the "Buffalo Fires" or the "Wings" and my wife decided on the "Buffalo Chicken Salad" . The place was pack and when I ordered the friendly cashier told me the wait was about 10-12 minutes. After exactly 11 minutes my order was ready I was not disappointed at all IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. My 10 piece order of wings had so much flavor and the sauce was the "BOMB" (Garlic/Parmesan) and order extra sauce (Honey BBQ) MMMMM!!! so good. The wings were so juicy I just got hungry again thinking about those wings. My Buffalo fries with Chipotle sauce was just HEAVENLY. the fries were crispy and the combination of sauce and chicken was finger licking good. So I've mentioned before how much I enjoy coming here because the service and quality of food is always on point. I usually get buffalo fries with medium and special sauce, but today I tried the garlic Parmesan buffalo fries and they are now my new favorite.
