On our road trip to Dallas and as a lover of coffee of course I needed some caffeine. Found this little gem, the coffee was so good, service was excellent very friendly and inviting coffee shop, I highly recommend it. As a photographer had to get a couple shots

Coffee with a side of FREEDOM. WE LOVED THIS PLACE. I got the butter beer iced coffee and it's the best coffee I've had so far from our road trip from Georgia to California. Drive thru is also an option, but loved getting to meet the owner and their close community friends! Everyone was so welcoming and kind. Kelly M. You're giving Oregonians a bad rep! If you want to wear your mask at all times that's your choice to do so. You also had the choice to go through the drive thru and chose not to. That was YOUR decision to go inside. The CDC recommends, (read that again, RECOMMENDS) masks when social distancing isn't possible. (Which an employee standing 10 ft away from you behind a counter IS considered socially distanced) You can keep 6ft apart from anyone at anytime, you can also chose to stay home if you are afraid of Covid. JUST LIKE YOU, these customers and employees can CHOSE to go to work, CHOSE to wear a mask, CHOSE who they come in close contact with, chose to support their communities, families, friends and small businesses. This business is operating in a safe and clean way I just saw for myself. P.S. if masks work, why would their lack of masks make yours any less effective? Don't tear down a small family owned business because something that has nothing to do with Coffee, their product they're selling, and their city guidelines didn't meet your personal standards.

Stopped by on our way back to Dallas... We ordered their Caramel Delight and S'mores lattes... very tasty! Staff was super friendly and they have a clean restroom. Definitely worth the stop!

Frisco Bakery is a staple and a historic bakery in Plainview, Texas. Everytime I go to visit, I…read morehave to stop there at least once for breakfast every time I go to Plainview. I usually pick up food to go but I have occasionally eaten there as well. The bakery is clean and simple, with a fair amount of seating. The service is always friendly and fast whether using the drive through or going inside. My go to here is a couple pounds of barbacoa, refried beans, rice, and freshly made tortillas de maize (corn tortillas). I never leave without getting a couple of bags of that incredible pan dulce ( sweet bread). There is a variety of options to choose from and you really cannot go wrong when it comes to pan dulce here. People in Houston can quibble on the differences between Mexican and Tex Mex all they want but when I'm in West Texas and I want some food like my abuela and mom make, Frisco's hits the spot. It's true West Texas Mexican food and it's grrrrrreat!

The drive through is a little hard to get through because it's so small, but it's worth it! We have gone inside before also and it's a very clean place, and has many different areas to sit. I'm not sure if they're allowing people in right now due to covid, but it's a pretty good sized place. Awesome to have family time there too

We stopped at Mejia's Bakery while passing through town looking for a quick lunch. At first glance,…read morethe place almost looked closed--it's very unassuming from the outside and located in an older strip-style row of storefronts that gives off a bit of an old-west small-town vibe. Don't let that fool you though; once you step inside it's clear this is a very authentic Mexican spot. The interior is long and narrow. On the right side when you walk in there are bakery cases filled with a wide variety of traditional Mexican pastries and baked goods. On the left there's some seating and an ice cream area, and further toward the back there's a larger seating section that looks like it's used for their buffet (which we were told they offer on weekends). We visited on a Wednesday, so we ordered from the counter instead. The people working there were very friendly and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. I ended up ordering a cheese quesadilla with fries. The fries were actually excellent--crispy, salty, and exactly what you'd hope for. The quesadilla itself was okay. In fairness, this is clearly a place that specializes in more traditional Mexican dishes, and I probably didn't order the thing they're best known for. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food and pastries, this seems like a great local spot and it's definitely worth checking out. If your taste leans more toward American-style Mexican food, you might find the menu a little different than what you're used to. Overall, a friendly local bakery and restaurant with very fair prices and a lot of traditional options.

The staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and the coffee is on point! They have everything you could want coffee wise and more. My wife had an strawberry vanilla Italian soda that she said was one of the best she's ever had. I had a vanilla latte with oat milk (hot) that was skillfully prepared and delicious. The only thing I cannot review at this time are the baked goods or the gelato; yes, gelato! But I wager they are top quality as well. It was during last week's Arctic Blast, but that didn't slow them down. We got the warmest welcome when we walked inside ~ greeted immediately with a bright shining smile and "Hello! How are you?" We saw on Yelp that they had 5 stars, so we thought this is the perfect local business to pop in for coffee and breakfast. Unfortunately, they do not cook up food anymore except for an assortment of pies and sweets. I wish it hadn't been 10am on a holiday week or I may have scooped up a few to try. They looked so darn good! As they made our coffee order, a latte and a breve (basically a latte with half n' half), we putts around the store. They had a collection of cute and cool things: candles, cards, mugs, soaps and so much more. We were in a bit of a haste with being hungry roadtrip travelers so we couldn't look for long but it'd be fun to go back when we had more time. While we headed out, I asked if there was a place they'd recommend for breakfast - an easy stop and pick up spot. They couldn't be happier to recommend another local business as the must-go place. My husband, who grew up in a similar small Texas town, really found this to be a cool moment and I'd agree. So after leaving their shop with one of THE BEST breves, we followed their driving instructions which led us to one of the THE BEST breakfasts! To say, we're incredibly grateful for Ballyhoo is an understatement. They are making the world a better place for travelers, locals and passerbyers with their Southern hospitality and charm!
