It looks as clean as the store is inside. Actor 2: It must have been on sale, because my receipt was cheaper than I was expecting, but I am not the best at math. (Both turn to the audience as everyone shares a laugh. If no one is laughing, repeat section of play until people understand they need to laugh. NEED to laugh. NEED TO LAUGH.) Actor 1: That is wonderful. Hey, they have this whole lot for parking my RV overnight & are totally o.k. with it. Did you know that? Actor 2: I did! I have parked here before & thought it was nice to wake up early & see the sunrise over this beautiful expanse of land. Actor 1: That IS wonderful! (Both actors shake hands & walk away. Have both grow old & die someday & then let everyone in the audience know via an online invite).

Shelves were stocked and the aisles were tidy. I was able to find the few things on my list - snacks and drinks and a power strip - easily. Not only did he warmly confirm they were closing, but he also took the time to offer suggestions on where I might find what I needed. Then, in a gesture that was both unexpected and genuinely thoughtful, he offered to check with his manager to see if they could stay open a little longer just for me. I assured him it wasn't necessary, but the offer itself spoke volumes. It's rare to find customer service that feels this personal and generous. If you're in the area, this place isn't just a convenient stop-it's a reminder that there are still people who go the extra mile simply because they care. I wish I got the employees name but he was working June 3rd during closing. Thanks again!!

Everyone that works there from the butcher to the owner to the cashiers has gotten to know me personally and is always helpful and friendly. I have to agree with the other reviewers that I encountered no friendliness in this store. I did…read moreencounter one employee who was very helpful at showing me where the section I was looking for was. When I first walked in I realized I was wearing a patriotic t-shirt I had bought at a Walmart in Arizona so naturally I wouldn't have the receipt with me. I stopped the first young man with a Walmart shirt on that I encountered and asked him if he would vouch for me that I walked in wearing it and didn't put it on on the store and try to walk out with it. He said, "I don't really care one way or the other." Then he told me they were plenty of cameras so I figured I'd have a record of the fact that I walked in wearing it and stopped worrying but it wasn't a very polite answer. The girl at the cash register just kept staring at me while I was paying. She did say thank you when I was done but was almost glaring at me. You think after they read all the reviews about unpleasant encounters with employees they would try to do a better job of training them to be cheerful. Who wants to go back to the store or you aren't treated like a valued customer? I think this is billed as a super Walmart but I've been in many super Walmarts and I wouldn't think this qualified, too small, not enough variety of merchandise to qualify as a super Walmart.

L We stopped at the Walmart in Dumas while passing through…read moretown--it's really one of the few big box options around, so it was a convenient place to grab supplies. The location is easy to find, right off the main highway, and the parking lot had plenty of space. Inside, the store is pretty standard for a Walmart Supercenter. They had a solid range of products--groceries, clothes, electronics, even an auto center and pharmacy. It's definitely a one-stop shop, which came in handy. That said, some areas looked understocked, especially in the produce section. We also noticed a few expired items on the shelves, which was a bit frustrating. The staff we interacted with were friendly enough. One associate helped us find some dog food and even offered a suggestion for a nearby place to eat. But when we needed assistance at checkout, it took a while to get someone to the register. It seemed like they were short-staffed or maybe just not well organized. All in all, it was a mixed bag. You'll probably find what you need, but don't expect top-tier service or perfectly stocked shelves. For a small town, it gets the job done--but with some room for improvement. 3 stars.

The store is clean and well stocked. Now for the deli inside the grocery store: Since we were visiting Quanah on Monday and Tuesday, leaving Wednesday, we found that most restaurants in town are NOT open either of those days. Since the store is right next to the Best Western Hotel where we were staying, we thought we'd see if we could buy food here. What a pleasant surprise! They have a full service little mini-restaurant inside where you can order alacart or plates of chicken, catfish, chicken fried steak, with sides of veggies, mashed potatoes, fried okra, etc. I got the fish, my husband got the chicken fried steak with gravy, which was made up fresh for him on the spot. We really enjoyed our meals and the price for both was only around $20! BUT, the real reason I wanted to write a review is to compliment Steve, the gentleman who served us and cooked our food. He was SO friendly and helpful. A true credit to the store. Thank you, Steve!
