We have visited The Burrow a number of times with our kids. Recently, we had breakfast. All was very good - they are willing to serve pizza for breakfast as well... We love the hometown atmosphere, and this place seems very popular with the locals. The staff is very attentive and kind. As a matter of fact, Be Kind to One Another seems to be the motto of the whole place - if only we could live that way each moment of everyday. What a gem! I was traveling for work, saw the billboard and decided to stop in for a needed coffee perk up. I was greeted by nice young woman and given the run down on the flavors. I ordered a salted caramel latte, lite syrup and lite milk. The latte was outstanding! Served in a quality paper cup too; I really appreciated that. No cheap, flimsy lid that pops off, etc. I also got an apple cinnamon scone. The scone is well constructed and fluffy. A little sweet for me with the glaze but well made. The shopping aspect was unexpectedly well done. Varied items that are well organized and quality. I ended up making some extra purchases and now feel I'm well started on Christmas. What a small town gem! We got their gluten free pizza on a suggestion by a local patron. The ham, onion and jalapeño pizza was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy and hat a hint of sweetness. I had a delightful stop at The Burrow this morning. Was passing through town on a cross-country Drive and saw this place just half a block off the main road across from the historic Armstrong County Courthouse. It's the perfect local coffee house. Inside was a table full of older regulars and a smaller table full of local teens. I got a cup of coffee to go for a reasonable price and the owner gave me this nice sticker. She said they have a mission of kindness. Strongly encourage anyone passing through Claude to stop here. It will make you feel good read more

I don't know why The Burrow did not come up on Yelp when we searched Claude for a place to eat! So glad we took the wrong turn, drove right by and saw the open sign. What a fun shop / eatery.
