I got a custom spray tan here for all my major wedding events (bachelorette party and the actual…read morewedding). My friends all came here as well so the whole bridal party would not be pasty white in photos. Everyone that works here is super nice and does a wonderful job. I found this tanning salon from a Groupon and they were not snobby or rude at all about using a discount (some places are). They also have a nice referral program. I like that they offer a lot of tan shades. If you are on the pale side I would highly suggest the medium-light shade. My tans always come out pretty even and natural looking. I definitely feel more confident wearing white when I have a nice light tan. If I'm tanning for a Saturday I prefer to go on Wednesday for it to look the most natural, Thursday wouldn't be bad either it's just very dark for any event I have on Friday. Make sure to follow all of their helpful guidelines they email you so that you can have the best tan possible, the tips really do make a difference. I also like that they don't try to upsell you stuff while you are there. They will only suggest something if you ask or it makes sense. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone for any occasion but you can definitely trust them for your big life events!

I went to Niki Moon Salon Naperville, for balayage and showed the stylist exactly what I wanted…read more Before starting, I specifically asked if she could achieve that look, and she said yes. After about two hours, I could barely see any difference in my hair. The only noticeable result was that my hair felt much drier and more damaged. She then told me that because my hair was very dark, she could not make it lighter. That is unacceptable because she saw my hair before starting and still told me she could do it. Since she could see that I was unhappy, she offered me a discount to come back a second time and redo the process to get the lightness I originally wanted. I went back, spent another two to three hours there, and after all that, she put a dark color over the lightened parts and left it on for about 20 minutes. The result was still almost nothing--just dry, damaged hair with barely any visible change. Even my friend could not tell that I had done anything to my hair. I paid $500 and got basically no result. If you have dark hair, I do not recommend trusting Niki Moon Salon for balayage or highlight or ... They may say they can do it, but in my experience, they could not deliver the result they promised. The stylist later said she put dark color over the lightened areas because I told her I did not want red or yellow tones. But I have had balayage done many times before and achieved lighter results without red or yellow tones. Avoiding brassiness should not mean making the hair dark again and leaving the client with no visible result. In my opinion, if a stylist cannot achieve the requested result on dark hair, they should be honest before starting instead of wasting the client's time and money. I do not recommend Niki Moon Salon for people who are not already blonde. This photo was taken right after her second appointment. Can you see any difference? I couldn't either! I also showed the hairstylist a picture of what I wanted. $500 for... nothing!

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and they give great recommendations if you're unsure about what to get. I've heard people complain of long waits but that's expected when there's limited beds that have to be cleaned in between uses. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for a service. Tanning booths and beds are kept clean and organized. This location is awesome!

Awful experience every time I come in!!…read more I'd never used a tanning bed before this, and this center's business practices feel slimy. On my first visit, the manager sold me products I didn't actually need -- I was nervous and didn't know better, so I went along with it. When I tried to return them and get the product I actually needed, the manager was never in. By the time I finally caught her, it was too late to return anything. I also was never told I could be using a Level 5 bed when I signed up -- I'd been put in a Level 4 the whole time, even though there's almost a $40 price difference between the two. Once I found out, I asked to downgrade my membership for the following month. But now this month, I can't use the Level 5 bed at all. So I paid $104 for July and can't even use what I'm paying for. On top of that, almost everyone on staff has been unhelpful and unpleasant. The one exception is Grace, who's been genuinely kind and helpful every time. My advice: do your research before signing up here, or just go somewhere else.
