As I've aged mine have gotten thinner and grayer. Lynn took the time to consult, explain, and put my mind at ease. She worked on my brows, plucking, shaping, and tinting them to something I was very happy with. My eyebrows look better than they have in years (decades/ever?). I've finally started taking better care of myself (mani/pedi every two weeks) and I believe I'll add this wonderful service to my repertoire! Thanks Lynn!!!

She made him feel comfortable and took care of the issue. As for me she's dyed my lashes and given me facials. Today I went for a facial particularly focused on some inset calcified blocked pores, and I asked for some suggestions on finally taking care of my neglected 50+ year old skin! The time with Danielle was very productive. She managed to get the white lumps extracted and my skin on my face and neck was treated like royalty! The studio is welcoming and quiet, and while there was a little bit of pain during the extraction, it was a wonderful experience. I leave confident and refreshed and more knowledgeable! My next appointment is in two weeks for an eyelash and eyebrow tint in preparation for my vacation. I know the color will be natural looking and give me the lift I need. Very reasonable and fair pricing, with individual attention. A value for sure. Simply "Fabulous!"

Extremely disappointing experience and unacceptable customer service…read more I booked my appointment well in advance, but just 15 minutes before it, I was told my technician could no longer do my nails. Instead of arranging a proper replacement, I was offered the choice of waiting to be squeezed in or having technicians start and stop my service. I declined. I accepted a noon appointment with a substitute technician, rearranged my plans, and arrived on time, only to learn that the replacement would be another 20 minutes late because of car issues. For a salon charging above-average prices, this lack of professionalism and reliability is unacceptable. I only stayed because I was traveling the next day and had limited time to find another appointment. I will not be returning.

Well, it turns out that a new Lash Spot has opened out in the "burbs', in downtown Hinsdale, no less. A sister shop to the one in the city on Erie- this new eyelash boutique does it all for eye brows and eye lashes- from standard waxing and tinting to their specialty service of eyelash extensions. Now I was blessed with my mom's great eyelashes so I didn't think extensions or a perm were in order for me- but I wanted to go along and check this place out . . .afterall . . .a little glam in anyone's life can "change the game" if you know what I mean! We walked in a few minutes before her appointment time. Know that if you cancel and don't meet their 24 hour cancellation period- that your credit card will still be charged service or not- so get there! We were warmly greeted and as I settled in to wait- I was given a brief tour of the place and told that they could "open up my eyes" even more with a few strategically placed lashes on the outer eyes. The cost for this procedure runs $75 - $150 depending on the skill level of the technician. I passed, but maybe for that next big night out . . . . . . . Oh- and if you want to go out with a full set of eyelash extensions that last about a month . . .the going rate is $250 - $500 again dependent upon the level of the technician. This process takes anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours to complete, as the lashes are put on one at a time, but you should see the way you look when you walk out. A woman was finishing up when we were walking in, and she looked fantastic. About this time- my friend's "perm" was done, she paid her $70 and we were on our way. But not before I glanced in the mirror and at that moment knew that I would be back. After all, a little glam is good for the soul!

Marie did a FABULOUS job and I highly recommend her because she REALLY knows what she is doing. She takes the time to explain how everything works, she talks to you about the brow shape you want and then carefully draws in your future look (she has this cool tool that shows measures so your brows are precise and even). Once you are happy with your future look, she gets to work. I think start to finish for the first appt. was 90 minutes. I was extremely pleased with the outcome - my brows look natural - she does a great job color matching too. My face has more definition with my new brows. The follow up appointment 3 months later was equally efficient and professional. Her salon space is clean and easy to get to and has parking. Totally worth the $.

Marie ruined my eyebrows!!! I went to see her hoping she would help me achieve the beautiful and…read moremaintenance free eyebrows that Microblading gives you and trusted her because she had good reviews. I am so disappointed with how they turned out, one is higher and shorter than the other. Don't believe what she tells you about eyebrows being sisters instead of twins cause mine look adopted! Although her salon is clean and she practices the sterile technique I still would not recommend her nor would I come back for my touch up as I do not trust her to ever touch my eyebrows again. While she was doing the outline/drawing before the Microblading she insisted that the left should have a higher arch when it was clearly not going to match with the right which is my better eyebrow. I was bleeding a lot during the Microblading process and the blood was mixing with the pigment because she was making deeper incisions instead of light feathery strokes (they are not supposed to bleed that much) so my eyebrows came out very dark and swollen (I know this is to be expected but had she not tried to re-create my left eyebrow I wouldn't have bled that much). I almost cried after seeing them and I immediately gasped at how the left was much higher and thicker and shorter and she dismissed it saying they will eventually look even when healed. I didn't have the natural feathery strokes that most people have after the procedure or how theres hardly any bleeding when they wipe off the pigment to reveal the newly Microbladed eyebrows. She sent me on my way with after care instructions even though we both knew it turned out to be a disaster. I went home looking at videos of those who had a good experience and wished that mine had turned out just as nice. I healed very well with minimal scabbing but the end result still looked awful. I am now spending twice the amount of time to draw on them every morning and make them look even which is ridiculous-I got them done so I could avoid having to fix them. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and do not recommend her at all. I am debating whether I should go to an expert Microblading artist to fix them or just leave them alone and let them grow out as I do not want to waste more money to get my dream eyebrows. What a waste of $300!!!
