The staff at Mokena are the most rude (one in particular) I've ever met. They won't give a refund, even if the people behind the counter mistreat you. Their "corporate" called to try and rectify what happened and told me I was right, but still wouldn't give me a refund when in the history have you ever heard such nonsense? I will be telling every single person I know to never go here ever they steal your money they give you faulty products and they treat you like absolute crap. Wow, just wow is all I have to say about this horrible horrible entity. my husband is 64 years old and they refused to let them tan because the information in their system was faulty and we had paid for a full month of tanning and we were only halfway through the month. Don't subject yourself to this time waste ! Do not give them your money. Go tan somewhere else.

I used a Groupon for one hour massage, with manicure and pedicure. I was very happy they offered…read moreSunday appointments. First up was the massage with Judith. It was fine, and she worked the areas I asked her to focus on. Two days later and I still feel loose and relaxed. Getting a massage always makes me remember that I should get another massage soon. Why do I wait so long? I was next set with Debbie for my pedicure and manicure. I really like her "vibe". It had been about 6 weeks since my last pedi, and Debbie did a terrific job getting my tootsies in order. I was impressed with the cleanliness and her attention to the condition of her client's feet (she declined a pedicure to the woman before me due to an infection she saw), and that she did not use blades on my rough heels nor did she cut my cuticles. There are two massage pedi chairs and I must have been in the "wrong" one since I barely felt a jiggle. The girl in the other chair was a lot more active. On to the manicure and since I have very short, very weak nails I did not expect much. Debbie did me right again and shaped the nails nicely. No cuticle cutting, but used oil and orange wood stick to get my sad little digits ready for the polish. Still no chips after two days, and I normally lose the tips of my polish after a day. I re-booked a pedicure with Debbie for next month. If it weren't for the 1/2 price special they offered in follow-up to the Groupon, I probably would not have booked since their price is a bit on the high side (at least, for me).

I'm so disappointed. When I got home and looked in my magnifying mirror, I noticed the entire area of my left cheekbone hadn't been waxed, the upper area above my lip and lower lip still had numerous hairs and the jawline was lots of peach fuzz. Also, I believe the full leg wax includes your toes and mine were not done. I think Kaylee needs glasses, more light in her room or more training. She only has you turn your head for the left face waxing. Easy to miss a lot that way. When hair is very light it is hard to see, but she's the professional?? It took an hour so I think she is brand new. Don't waste your money.

I went on a Saturday which there were so many people trying to come in. The lady who worked on my brows seemed to be the owner, she was really nice and even tried calling one of her coworkers to come help out with the crowd. The brows itself are a 3.5, I enjoy the ending of my brows, but the front of them are off. I usually get my brows done in black but the ladies recommended me dark brown, and I was not disappointed. The only thing I would change is the front shape of my eyebrows, at least this is fixable with some concealer but if you are looking for brows that need some work, just keep that in mind with going to this location. The owners attitude is what up'd this review 0.5.
