I've been addicted to spray tans for years, & I have tried EVERYTHING & spent way too much money trying to find the perfect "airbrush spray tan." I finally found it with Spray Tan Evolution. It is 100% worth every penny. The tan lasts double the amount of time any Versa spray booth or airbrush tan I've ever gotten. The rules may be a little tedious, but if you listen & take everything into consideration, you can make the tan last 10-12 days. AMAZING! Jon (the owner) & his girlfriend Lisa are completely professional & clearly passionate about their job. I would recommend this place to anyone & everyone! I know I will be back very soon! read more

Irish girl with tan legs?? Say what?! Not orange? Not dirty looking? Looks natural? Yes, Ma'am/Sir. Never a mystic tan again. Until you shower, do not sleep on white sheets with even your feet exposed as I did. Not if you like your sheets. Stay out of the water as much as possible if you want the tan to last. One of the benefits to going back is that you can customize your color better. The 2nd time around, I decided to go a shade lighter. Then last time, I decided to go a shade darker on my legs but keep my face lighter. --The benefit of airbrushing is that it's totally customized vs a spray booth that only does "one size fits all". Also, don't forget there's parking in back. I have illegally parked back there on several occasions (creating new parking spaces ;) ), but last time I was starting to park illegally, I saw cops issuing parking tickets. Phew! That was a close one! I don't do that anymore. ;) read more

Great place for a tan in Naperville. Neetu does an awesome job. Definitely recommended.

My soray tans are always the perfect color, they look so natural and they last 2 + weeks. John really knows his stuff! Highly recommend!

Best Spray Tan you will ever get! I've been getting spray tans for years, starting with booths (verse spa) as well as other custom sprays..nothing ever comes close to Spray Tan Evolution. This is by far the best experience and quality of service I have received! The Spray Tan product alone is worth of the cost, but they also have an array of colors to select from and personalize to compliment your skin tone. You'll NEVER have to worry about getting that too-tan, orangey look! Also the tan itself outlast anything I have ever gotten, just make sure you follow the proper before&after steps to getting a spray tan! I would definitely call if you have any questions, all the staff is super friendly! I have always had a comfortable and satisfactory experience and most importantly an amazing Spray Tan! -Call for most updated prices -Hours vary but are super flexible -Appointments only (can be made by text) read more

I went here before vacation and said the areas I needed more tan. My skin has some uneven areas and wanted them less noticeable. Even after saying this is what I needed, those where the ONLY areas they didn't do. Now I have an uneven looking tan and no returned call to attempt to fix. The lady was nice enough which is why 2 stars instead of 1. Will not return. Overpriced and not better than the $30 place I was going. read more

This is my go to place before every vacation to give me that healthy glow so I don't scare beach goers with my paleness. They do such a great job, adjust darkness to your liking and keep your preferences stored. read more

My very first tan and I couldn't be happier! I chose STE because of all the wonderful reviews.....I was nervous and John was the absolute best in making me feel comfortable. He explained the entire process and gave me instructions on how to care for and make my tan last..... The entire experience was amazing and extremely professional! I will be more than happy to recommend STE to my friends and family! read more

OK: My sister surprised me with a trip to Florida with one caveat: This pale irish mess had to be spray tanned before arriving. So, with just about 48 hrs to find a place, I found the very highly reviewed Spray Tan Evolution. They were extremely accommodating over the phone and even went so far to call one of their regulars to see if they could move their appointment so they could fit me in, on a late evening after work. John was super friendly, gave me lots of great tips on how to prepare (really explained everything and took the time!), put me at ease about the process, had me guttural laughing despite being mostly naked in front of a stranger (LOL omg) and did an amazing job. I've never had a spray tan before, so I was nervous, but it looked incredible and I didn't feel self conscious about my tan in florida at ALL! I was concerned about it looking streaky or too orange or unnatural...but it just looked like a healthy glow. John predicted that people would say "Oh, you look good! Did you get a haircut?" and that definitely happened...haha, until they realized it was a tan. Would definitely do it again; wish it was in my budget to do on a regular basis but will splurge for special occasions. A+! oh, And, save yourself the shame of walking in your pajamas, braless, and a visibly still-drying spray-tan walk of shame in the middle of naperville and PARK IN THE BACK ! read more

I have been going to STE for about 6 years. John and his staff do a great job with the spray tan. The tan is custom made for your skin type. You may want your face a little darker than you limps. You may only want your legs darker than your face and arms. If you follow their tips, the tan will last about 7 days. He has two location. When you call the number you can decide if you want the Naperville location or Oak Brook location. read more

The lady was really nice and accommodated to my skin tone with the tan and made me feel comfortable! Place was clean and artsy. Worth the price! I definitely will go there again! Great for any special occasion or just to be tan ! read more

Had a spray tan party at my house for my wedding and it was such a great time! We were provided wine for the bridal party and the spray tans were amazing!!! The Tans are so natural! 100% recommend everyone to come for the perfect air brush! read more

Very friendly, great job, comfortable atmosphere. Appreciative of his ease for conversation too.

Best spray tan- very natural color, not orange. Lisa is my favorite! Definitely recommend!

Back in August 2016, I attended a back to school pool party - for us moms - at a friend's house while the kids were in school. I Could. Not. Stop admiring my friend's tan. After a couple drinks, she spilled her secret: she was a regular at Spray Tan Evolution. She gave me the number and when I called the next day, they were super patient and answered all of my questions - and I had a lot of questions. I was able to get an appointment that same day by chance and although I was skeptical, (having done spray tan booths in the past and coming out like an Oompa Loompa) I followed the easy pre-tan exfoliation instructions, threw on some super loose clothing, and went in for my first spray tan. The staff at STE is super laid back. I've been back many, many times since August and I've never once felt uncomfortable. I am usually the type of person who likes to pick one person and stick with them, but I've had tans by three different tan artists at STE and they've all been awesome! I am also extremely picky and detail oriented. I even loved my daughter's spray tan when she did one for prom! The rooms (at both locations) are clean and well organised. Music is usually playing (feel free to put in a request!) and the atmosphere feels comfortable. Some pointers: *Wear loose clothing *Bring an umbrella if it's raining *Be sure the doors are on your Jeep if it's raining... *Do the contouring. You won't regret it. *Make sure you get an amazing lotion and use it EVERY TIME you shower and occasionally throughout the day for a long lasting tan *Follow the pre and post tan instructions *If you're tanning for a big event, do a test run a couple weeks before the event *Show off your legs *Stare at yourself in the mirror I've become slightly addicted to how much I love how I look after a spray tan here. At first I thought it would be great for events but soon I realised it was an amazing accessory to ALL of my outfits, for any occasion, clothed or unclothed. ;) If you're looking to avoid the sun but would like to look like you've been tanning in Hawaii all week, give STE a try. read more

I was recommended to this guy numerous times, I 've received services from him for years, and I recommend him to everyone I know. WEDDINGS ESPECIALLY! He customizes your color, and can even spray on this special glowing sheer spray for a natural glow. If you'r pale and need a natural glow for your wedding he can do it. No need to tan for months ahead. When it comes to spray tans, he's the best in the area and worth the money. read more

This is the best spray tan you will ever get. Been going to spray tan evolution regularly for almost a year and have never left disappointed. I have been spray tanned by everyone who works there and each time it is consistent and top quality service. I recommend this place to everyone I know! read more

I have religiously gone to the same spray tan place since I can remember. I am extremely fair and they new exactly what color to make me. I couldn't get back to school to go there before my cousins wedding so I frantically tried to find someone in the Chicagoland area to spray me. I was beyond nervous, but Susie made me feel so comfortable. She matched me with a color and sprayed me perfectly. The color was great-not orange. And streak free. They use protection on hands and feet from streaking which always happens on those parts of the body and there was minimal issues. Extremely happen and would recommend them to anyone! :) read more

Totally thrilled with the results of this place! Nothing like those stupid booths at LA Tan. It's completely personalized to your skin tone and done by a certified tanning airbrush artist. No ugly dark lines along the inside of your fingers and toes or along the bottom of you heels. You can choose lighter on the face and dark on the legs and arms. They can give you a six pack on your stomach, bring out the contours of your arms. Soooo cool! Highly recommend this place and now they have a location in Oak Brook which is where I went since I live in the city! Rumor has it they may be coming to Chicago one of these days. read more

This was my first airbrush spray tan and was super nervous about what it would look like. I was standing up in a wedding and had a light blush dress and didn't want to look washed out but didn't want to look orange either. It was a comfortable setting very professional, and lots of questions were asked before starting. He even asked about the brides coloring so to not have me looking darker than them. He got the coloring perfect! There was no streaking and he was very detailed in how to take care of the tan afterwards. I would highly recommend! read more

This place is amazing. I had an appointment for a spray tan the Wednesday before my wedding, there was an unexpected power outage! Being a bride, I was obviously freaked out, but they sent a guy straight to my house to get the tan done in the garage. They are completely professional and I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with my skin on my wedding day. Thank you, thank you, you made me look amazing on the big day!!! If you're looking for a great spray tan, don't go anywhere else! read more

This was my first time getting the airbrush tan and it was a great experience (way better than those machine booths). I felt comfortable and appreciated the conversation with John - he explained the before and after process very well. I have pretty pale skin and John was able to make my tan look more natural. Will be returning in the upcoming weeks! read more

This was the best experience I have ever had, I was nervous when I went with a lot of questions because I'm African America with vitiligo my main concern was being orange John was very knowledgeable about my vitiligo made sure he explained every step of the process and did an excellent job on my tan. Happy client Sallie B read more

They are very polite and nice. However the spray tan itself is nothing to rave about. It hardly covered my old tan lines (which is what I said I wanted covered the most) and they just did one coat. Not impressed. read more

NO. I had never gotten a spray tan before and wanted to test out this place because I was getting married in April 2015. I went there for my bridal shower which was in February, and HATED the results. I got my spray tan Friday night and by Sunday morning (day of my bridal shower) my legs and arms were ORANGE. I had to change the dress I was wearing to cover my arms and most of my legs - and what was showing of my legs I had to vigorously scrub. Terrible experience and I would never recommend to anyone! In discussing my experience with STE with the other spray tan company I now use, she informed me that STE probably sprayed me too much or used too dark of a color. Pretty frustrating considering I told them this was for my bridal shower and that I was interested in using them for my bachelorette party & wedding if it went well. They charge way too much for the result you get and I found a MUCH better spray tan company in the area that charges HALF of what Spray Tan Evolution does and gives you a more natural look. Also, the owner was extremely rude when I had to reschedule my original spray tan appointment because of the SNOWSTORM we got the day of the Super bowl. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES IN THE AREA YOU CAN GO TO! read more

Outside of a price discrepancy with the owner, I would still not recommend this place. You are required to pick a color from white bottles- no color swatches or sample photos, nor any idea of what the airbrush color will yield. Since I am new, I let the technician pick my color. I don't even look tan after getting airbrushed yesterday. It is also quite expensive compared to other places. I am leaving for Cancun in 2 days and don't even look tan. Really disappointed. Wasted my money. read more

Love! Love! Love SprayTan Evolution! This is the best spray tan spot in the world. John is a master at what he does and every one of his tans comes out like a piece of art. read more

The man who runs this is an expert! I used this place to add some color before my wedding. I first set up a test run and was generally happy with the results except for the fact that my wrists got a little darker than I wanted (this was done by an assistant, not the owner). My second time around the owner did the spray tan and it looked flawless! I got a lot of compliments and people asked me where I went on vacation! My skin looks amazing in my wedding pictures. I was going for just a little color, not orange, which is what has happened in the past when using other spray tan solutions. I would also like to point out that evolution has three varieties of shading which are meant for different skin types. I am quite pale so the brown shades really complimented my skin tone. I would definitely recommend this to anyone getting married or going on vacation. read more

Great place!! I went here to get some color a few days before standing up in my brother's wedding. Susie (not sure if spelled correctly) was awesome! She was very thorough while applying the spray tan and explained everything she was doing as she did it. I love how they spray a moisturizing barrier on your knuckles, wrists and in between your fingers so your hands don't look unnatural or streaky. I also like how I was able to shower only 8 hours afterwards. I've been to places where I had to wait 24 hours....ugh! I have very fair skin and Susie came up with the right formula of color to give me a natural look! They also keep your shade of color on file so you don't have to remember what you had done on your previous visit. I will definitely be going back again! read more

I was interested in getting a spray before heading to Florida for spring break. Michelle was efficient and informative in getting me scheduled. My spray tanner was owner operator John who was really great. He explained everything he was doing and was quick and efficient. I loved the color -- especially on my legs! The tan faded very evenly and I followed all pre and post instructions to a T. I'd say the only downside is waiting the 8 hours to shower off the bronzer....kind of a pain when you have stuff to do and you are walking around in baggy black clothes. Loved and will be doing again! read more

I love love this place! I found this place on yelp and am so glad I paid attention to the reviews. The owner was very knowledgeable about his product. I am a german irish girl who doesn't tan, I just get more freckles. The spray tan was great. Not orange at all. No streaking. Once it did fade it fadely evenly. I went to this place because of my wedding. I booked a trial first and will go again for the actual wedding date. Don't worry that the owner is male there are females that spray as well. It is a very professional business. read more

I would highly recommend Spray Tan Evolution to anyone looking for a spray tan in the Chicagoland area! I have been getting airbrushed for years around chicago and no one compares to them! I have gone to Spray Tan Evolution several times now and would recommend their services to everyone. I have tried several other tanning methods and nothing has ever come close to the results I get from John !!! This place is fantastic. The owner is a true master of his craft, and extremely professional. I am someone who cannot tan at all, especially on my legs. It doesn't matter how many hours I try to sun myself, my legs simply refuse, and just end up red and blotchy. I came here to try a spray tan before going to Cancun with my husband and the results far exceeded my expectations! I looked AMAZING and I felt so confident in my bikini because the color looked THAT good! My husband really liked it, too :-) The other cool part about having this great color on vacation is that I didn't have to sit and sun myself for hours on end seeking that perfect tan since I already had one! I highly, highly, highly recommend this place! read more
